Karen (1/5): Bad customer service - The property is beautiful. I got a good look around waiting 2 hours for reception to unlock the door. I called and emailed every number I had through booking with no response. Fast forward to the hotel was closed. I was able to complete a booking and get messages about my upcoming stay .

Heated pool was nice and clean. Views were incredible. Very quiet and relaxing. The whole property was amazingly clean and beautiful. Parking(No problem till the weekend when they have weddings. Then parking is nonexistent even with parking passes unless you want to park along way away from your place)

Ann (3/5): Though a lovely view at Lake George, I would not stay at this location again or recommend to others. - Our room had a stunning view of Lake George that I greatly appreciated. The beds were large (king size in each room) and comfortable. We appreciated having two bathrooms among the 4 of us. 3 televisions (one in the common area and one in each room) was nice, but not really necessary for us. No housekeeping service AND no laundry facilities. Poor upkeep of the cabins, needed several relatively small cosmetic things done, looks like just not attended to. Not even a single extra roll of toilet paper. Kitchen but no basic condiments (salt, pepper, etc.). No guidance about activities in the area. Stingy with towels and got some attitude when asking for more. Wayyy overpriced given the quality of the accommodations and services.

Peter (4/5): Great location but way over priced for the accommodation - The location was excellent. The room was dirty. There was toothpaste smeered on bathroom vanity. The walkway was washed out. There was only two sets of towels for a room that was supposed to accommodate 6. The beds had old, uncomfortable mattresses. The unit was very outdated and, overall, not a good value for the cost of a night.

Great weekend away and completely worth it. Can't wait to come back. Called for batteries and no one ever showed up to help after speaking with front office staff. There was a horrible smell of fish in the freezer that made most of the food and ice smell like rotting fish. Purchased baking soda for freezer and fridge. Water in the bathroom was brown. Had to use spring water to brush our teeth and to cook. Water in the master bath was better.

Kate (8/5): Great property and location for family - Location was great had enough room in the townhouses for children to sleep and adults to stay up and relax We had a couple miscommunication with staff when switching rooms which led to less than desirable wait time. Also found two open bottles of liquor in the townhouse when we got in (under bed and in bathroom)
Jaclyn (7/5): Overall it fit our needs for a 3 night stay. - We stayed in the carriage house which was bigger than expected and perfect for 3 kids as they weren’t bothering any neighbors. There were family games available which our kids loved as well. While the carriage seemed to be updated from the pictures that were online, as we stayed we found it to be dirtier than at first sight. There was animal hair on the beds, in the washing machine and dryer (which didn’t dry very well at all). When we got back at night we took our shoes off to relax and our socks were black from the floors.

St. (8/5): We love the place and would definitely go back. - Location was great. Staff friendly. Like all the room. Didn't use the kitchen but would be handy if we stayed longer. Spa bath in bedroom broken. Had part of the broken chrome sitting on the tub. You can take a bath but don't use the spa bubbles because it shoots onto the floor. I'm sure it is most likely not in every room on the property but ours was broken. Should have a sign on it that it is out of order. Also, on this tub the hot water valve was cold water and the cold water valve say's hot water. Feel bad because we forgot to leave a tip for cleaner.. We were there because we had been taking care of father in hospital and had family here to watch him while we get away for a couple of days. He ended up dying 2 days later after we got back so our minds were thinking a lot about him while there plus on phone with doctors a lot and we forgot to leave a tip. Felt bad about that. Room was clean.

Just a few small issues: The floors on the first level of my townhouse were oily and sticky, as if something was spilled and not quite mopped up. Also, some flickering and burned-out light bulbs, giving off an impression of poor maintenance (even though overall the place looks good, especially on the outside).

Landscapers worked out of our house/garage. One bathroom for 6 adults. It said two online. No mouse traps on kitchen floor. More dishes. Had grill but no utensils. No ice machine in fridge. None of the furniture matched.

A little misleading when booking.com tells me they are not going to charge my card and 2 sec my account is overdrafted but all went well. The party that I stay with EVERY YEAR basically got put in a garage for the night because they let some wedding party guest take her room before she could arrive.
Virginia (6/5): - Erlowest is a fantastic resort and the dining room is excellent. I would NOT recommend the Carriage House - the entrance was not clean, it is located over a maintenance garage with a dismal front entry, and the rental unit is desperately in need of an upgrade.

Mihalek (10/5): Birthday weekend at Sun Castle Resort - Beautiful place!! We celebrated my birthday. We loved the view . Our villa was in the perfect position to see all boats come thru between the tiki bar boat the mini haha and the parasailing boat plus the other visitors in lake George boating around . Got to watch a wedding at the lil peninsula and beach our last day . The whole experience was very beautiful. There wasn't anything we didn't like .

Erhardt (7/5): Good - The view from the villa was spectacular! There’s no room in the kitchen to store snacks or use the minimal counter space as the microwave and coffee maker are on it. The beds were comfy but walls are thin and could hear anyone walking by or hanging out in the condos while we slept - even with the windows closed. It got cold at night even with heat on so wish we brought slippers.the cost was a bit steep for 2 nights but you pay for the best view of the lake!
