Close to public transport options or an easy 30m walk into the city centre. Lots of parking available and easy access to the freeway.

I have been trying different hotels primarily in search of a bed that I can sleep on. And I’ve been being disappointed. This hotel will be my new go to ! It’s June in Fairbanks so constant sunlight the blinds leaked some light in could be installed better

When I asked the front desk for the shuttle the gal picked up the phone and said "we have an unscheduled pickup" when the shuttle was unavailable she called a Taxi saying the same thing in a condescending tone. Ma'am we require a 2 hour notice for the aiport taxi. She then left the front desk and never came back. Hotel accommodations didn't make uo for the lack of hospitality. I'll stay elsewhere next time.

This is the only hotel I know that doesn’t charge super for a bottled water. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate anytime of the day. Very convenient location, close to Walmart and restaurants.

Good parking. Kitchen was good although missing a kettle. The room was not well cleaned, there was splatter on the kitchen splash back that had been there for a long time and the floors were filthy. During my stay the bed was done and bathroom however the floors were clearly not vacuumed.

Felt roomy and spacious, yet no wasted space, something useful or functional everywhere. Front desk staff was super friendly. I worked remotely on my laptop in the room, there was a very spacious desk area and solid large comfortable office chair. There's a library of DVDs and DVD players you can take to your room! I could see the TV from the bathtub, which was awesome.

- Yi (1/5): Receiving No Responses During Unexpected Circumstances - My intended stay at Candlewood Suites was unfortunately derailed by an unforeseen flight cancellation. Faced with this unexpected situation, I took immediate steps to manage the cancellation of my reservation in the most responsible manner possible. I reached out to Booking.com's customer service for assistance in contacting the hotel regarding a potential cancellation and refund, hoping for a swift and understanding response. However, my disappointment stemmed not only from the inability to proceed with my stay but significantly from the complete lack of communication from Candlewood Suites. It's important to note that my efforts to contact the hotel extended beyond utilizing Booking.com as a mediator; I personally attempted to communicate directly with the hotel on multiple occasions. Regrettably, these attempts were met with silence, leaving me without guidance or acknowledgment from the hotel. While I am aware of the constraints posed by cancellation policies, the absence of any form of communication from Candlewood Suites is disconcerting. It was my expectation that, despite the circumstances, there would be a basic level of responsiveness to address the situation at hand. Choosing Candlewood Suites was a decision influenced by the prospect of enjoying their reputed hospitality and amenities. However, the reality of being entirely overlooked in my attempts to resolve an unexpected issue has significantly tainted my perception of their guest service standards.

- Sondra (9/5): A great stopover to clean up and cook for yourself. - This Candlewood is an extended stay location which provided guest laundry facilities and in-room kitchen facilities. Our room had dishes for 2, an induction hotplate, a full-sized refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The desk/dresser area was very convenient as well. A garbage collection area that was not in the hallway by the elevators would have been preferable. Because this is an extended stay property and people cook in their rooms, the smells converged in an unpleasant way.
