• Eduardo (10/5): Hotel moderno, ótima estrutura. - Hotel moderno, confortável, e muito bem localizado. Estação de trem atocha em frente, muito prático. Em frente também, ponto de ônibus 001 gratuito que leva em alguns pontos turísticos. Metrô… tudo ali. Quarto ótimo. Equipe de checkin e checkout muito boa, deram dicas excelentes. Quando fui tinha obra em frente. Não é culpa do hotel, e como acordávamos cedo para turistar nao foi um problema.

The reception staff were super efficient and friendly The room was spacious and extremely clean Breakfast on the top floor was varied fresh and tasty We stayed for 4 nights. Ate in the rooftop restaurant twice as it was so good Major roadworks are taking place outside the hotel. You can obviously hear drilling as you come out of the hotel and the outside isn’t great to look atHowever were really surprised how quiet our room was

Comfortable room with good amenities. It's on a very busy street. Some people might see that as a downside, but on the other hand, it's very accessible.

• Michael (9/5): Stylish hotel, still some construction. - Great bed, comfortable room. The staff was accommodating when I needed room change, and offered free breakfasts since I'd chosen a room "downgrade". It's just an unfortunate reality that there is a major construction project right next to the hotel. Noise is not constant but there is some drilling during the day. You may not be bothered if you go out a lot. I switched to an "inside" room which minimized noise.

O único bom deste Hotel. As almofadas eran incómodas e o colchão também. Por 4 aguas da habitaçao cobraron 9,5 Euros no cartão de crédito 2 dias depois, sem ponher o preço previamente. A TV estaba muito alta, perto do teito e muito incómoda para se ver. A conexão do WI-FI ía con retardo para ver a TV. A mesa de estudo era muito baixa, não entravam as pernas.

Frühstück war auch gut Am Ankunftstag/Abend sehr sehr laute Musik im Bar, wir wollten etwas kleines Essen da, konnte kaum reden:( Auch Service schlecht, zu lange gewartet und dann falsch. Doch positiv- man hat sich entschuldigt, ein Dessert offeriert! Das war gut und hat den Eindruck des Hotels gerettet!!!

Ate dinner at the rooftop restaurant one night which was excellent food. Service was poor though once we complained, the staff acted on it immediately - giving us a complimentary drink and ensuring the food came as quickly as it could. Breakfast in the restaurant was very expensive and the casual coffee bar/bakery did not open till 9am. However there are nearby cafes for coffee and croissants which were good and very cheap.

• Richard (9/5): Just right - Great friendly hotel in the perfect location for exploring madrid. Superb breakfast, lovely room and such friendly staff. Even though there is roadworks outside hotel this couldn't be heard from our room. 2 min walk to metro which was easy to explore the city and 5 min walk to station. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

• Edward (10/5): Great base to visit Madrid - Excellent location: 5 minute walk from Atocha station, one of Madrid's main transport hubs, with access to the metro, long-distance high-speed trains, and local commuter trains; also 12-minute walk to the Prado Museum. Quiet, sound-proof room. Very good breakfast, with fresh produce and eggs cooked to order. Friendle, helpful staff at the front desk. Nothing!

The breakfast has a lot of variety and the front hotel staff were friendly. There was construction going on in the area that was very loud... although you couldn't hear it in the room. The staff at the hotel restaurant at night were not very attentive.

• Explorer15575631290 (10/5): Excellent experience! - We needed to catch a train the next morning, so easy access to the train station was our main priority. However, the hotel is near enough to all the sites we wanted to see that we could walk to all and cab back to the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived after a red-eye and way before check-in. The staff helped us get comfortable after our long flight. They were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was the best hotel breakfast we had during our two week stay in Spain. I highly recommend the Only You Hotel Atocha.
