Very friendly person on desk when I checked in an suggested a good place for dinner. Train does not run past at night. Eggs were cold for breakfast the lady on the desk suggest I could dig through as those on bottom might be warm. Impossible to dig down due to container shape.

• William Feist (8/5): Just an overnight stay and very comfortable. We stay in Battle Mtn often on trips to our destinatio - The breakfast was adequate. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and fast. Was disappointed to be charged and additional cr card fee on top of "total" fee. Never had this with Bookings.com

• Joni (7/5): Convenient, affordable, comfortable - everything we needed. - The room was updated, spacious, well equipped with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, ceramic coffee cups, very nice recliner, desk, chair, and table. A nice little area for the dogs to be off leash. A very nice little breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, and more. The location felt like it was out in the boondocks, but it was also convenient because that part of Nevada is in the boondocks.
• Steven (10/5): - We needed a convenient place to spend the night on a drive to Arizona. Big Chief was affordable, spotless clean and had a good breakfast. While the motel was older, it had been tastefully renovated.

• Diana (7/5): Great value. - For as old as the hotel was it was surprisingly clean. On my husband’s side the underside of his comforter was icky. Like the maid just flipped it over or didn’t change it from last guest.

The roadway signage was somewhat difficult to follow, but we’re not sure that is something within the hotel’s control.

I was traveling towing a small trailer and was able to park just across the lot from my room. I have difficulty breathing and I travel with my dog and the pet area was not as convenient as I would have liked, requiring that I walk a fair distance from my room.

• Bradley (8/5): Much nicer than anything in Winnemucca - Unexpectedly surprised as to how nice this hotel was, the rooms, the staff, for the location. Worth driving the extra 48 miles past Winamucca The room was clean and lovely in stylish. The staff were professional and friendly.

• Shulander (9/5): A great option! - Kind staff owner and staff that ensured our stay was comfortable. Fabulous attention to detail. Even a variety of food options at breakfast to accommodate various diets! They also went out of their way to make sure that when we had car troubles, they would plan to clean our room last so that we could take the time we needed to understand our car situation better. Small town, so walkable distance to most anything.

• Raymond (7/5): People who have no physical issues can stay here. Otherwise, it would be quite unpleasant for you. - Clean and quiet. I requested the first floor but was told there were none available. It didn’t have an elevator for us to get to the second floor. We had to haul our luggage and other bags. I have bad knees but had no choice. Also, we had an electric cooler that we couldn’t carry up so we had to leave it in the trunk.

The breakfast person did not come in, so there was no hot protein but other than that there were options. The coffee was pretty good and there was a selection of creamers.

• Edward (10/5): Surprising in the Best Way! - Excellent stay! From the outside I wasn’t so sure but, the attention to detail - quick check in, well equipped rooms, excellent maintenance, and focused hot breakfast were exactly what I hoped for. Would definitely stay again if I’m in Battle Mountain.
