Joanne (1/5): A mistake I am hoping Amex can correct. I've filed a dispute. - When I called ABI I was told was told ABI is the guest house for Willow Valley Communities. It clearly is not. I thought I was talking w/ WVC guest house. WVC has its own guest suites & we were expected at WVC. Also, when we showed up at ABI it had stairs to climb & I am handicapped & can't do stairs so not acceptable. We decided we couldn't stay & left after 15 minutes, but there was no representative left in the house to inform on our say out the door. My telephone call to 717-629-4374 to inform we were leaving was not answered.

Caroline (5/5): Beautiful place, clean rooms, good food but without air conditioning for 3 of our six people it was - The facilities were very nice but our big room did not have air conditioning and was super uncomfortable and we were not told it did not have a/c before booking or arriving. The breakfast was very good. The staff was kind and attentive but not intrusive. The thing I would point out to the staff or owner is that the little greenhouse/potting room at the entrance of the establishment should be presented much better. The alcohol bottles and mess was a big detractraction to the otherwise lovely property. It should have had at least some flowers and garden utensils properly presented. It made us question at first if we had picked a good place to stay. See first answer. Air conditioning was not available in room. Alcohol bottles and mess at entering place in the greenhouse. Broken light fixtures in garden sitting area.

The location was great and our room was very clean. We enjoyed the swing and rocking chairs by a beautiful magnolia tree. The location is great! It is near so many things we chose to do. We had a little trouble getting the room cool enough. They asked us if we had any food allergies so they could plan our breakfast. I appreciated that, but should have mentioned that we needed a higher protein/lower sugar breakfast.
Verified traveler (10/5): Cottage behind the B&B - Family stay in the cottage which is directly behind the main B&B. It was very clean and provided privacy. There is a Big backyard with swing and playset. Also a fire pit area. The B&B is in a residential area just outside of town. A little noisy but overall safe. Note: There were Lower ceilings in cottage bathroom.

The food was phenomenal. The room had separate sleeping and sitting areas; the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well designed with modern versions of antique features. Only shortcoming was ceiling fan that wobbled when running. We would definitely consider another stay in the future.

We stayed in the cottage behind the main house which was lovely. The bathroom is on the second floor so if you have difficulty with stairs that might be challenging. My parents were able to manage it thankfully. We visited Sight & Sound which was less than a 15 minute drive away.

Gina (10/5): Fantastic B&B - My S/O and I just got back from our stay at the Apple Bin Inn, and we already miss it! We loved its rustic outer beauty and how it was a nice compliment to its warm, cozy interior. The staff was very welcoming and helpful - and provided a supremely delicious breakfast! A fruit bowl followed by stuffed french toast and paired with fresh apple cider. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Our room was fantastic. Rustic cabin-like decor with plenty of space to store our things, nice shower, and really comfortable bed! Was also really impressed with the garden patio outside of our room and how private both felt. Perfect place to stay for a romantic Halloween weekend for a couple headed to Jason’s Woods. We would absolutely come back and stay in the McIntosh room again.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating although more of an introductory explanation of the facilities would have been helpful. For example, we didn't know that we were supposed to use the door code when leaving to lock the door. Not did we know there was a big area behind the garages for guest use. Not a big deal, but the coffee was weak.

Perfect location for touring Amish country, the local stores & Sight & Sound Theatre. Wish we could have stayed for more than 1 night to enjoy this exceptional B&B.Would stay here regularly if we could. Nothing!

They provide each room with a binder that lists all of the places, as well as history. The facility is gorgeous and you feel like you are in your own get away cabin instead of a generic, loud hotel.

Jason (10/5): - We didnt the chance to try their food due to last minute plan changes, but the owners were very accomodating when we had to check in late. The room was spacious, comfortable and very nicely maintained. Would highly recommend. Just be careful of parking- very small parking lot!
Walter (10/5): A very enjoyable stay! - The place was very clean and neat. The grounds were kept so nice and inviting. The mother and daughter staff were very friendly and were ready to accommodate us. The breakfast was delicious and the presentation beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Susan (8/5): Minor improvements needed but capable staff can meet this challenge. - Staff really tried hard to satisfy their first vegan guest! Eric is very pleasant and fun to talk to. Room was cold! Fireplace heater didn’t warm the large room. Lighting in room is poor. I had to move chair and place suitcase on floor next to pole lamp so I could see to unpack.

Katherine (10/5): Great place to stay. Very very clean, great breakfast, and friendly hosts. - Breakfast was delicious and the innkeepers were very friendly. The room was immaculate, which is high praise as I have high standards re cleanliness, especially regarding bathrooms. We will stay there again and definitely recommend it. There was some noise from cars along the road but the room had a white noise machine. I suggest pointing the machine out to guests as some may not notice it or know what it is. Also, there were stairs up to the room which some may find difficult but two rooms have no stairs.

Philip (10/5): Anniversary getaway - Anniversary weekend getaway. Great stay at ApplebBin Inn. Staff were great. Breakfast was superb. Room was excellent.
Evelyn (10/5): - The cottage was so cute and clean. Loved the outdoor area with the swing and beautiful magnolia tree. Never saw a southern magnolia and was very surprised of the difference. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was delicious Will definitely stay there again !

Isaac (9/5): It was a very beautiful place and the breakfast was super amazing and delicious. - This was a very quaint and comfortable environment. The space was lovely, the room me and my wife had was the Empire room. So, nice. The sight and sounds of the country and so close to the city. I would have loved a jacuzzi style tub to sit and relax in.
