• Karen (1/5): /Never again - By booking on line the pictures of hotel looked excellent but when we got to the hotel I paid for smoking room online and when I got hotel he said the room was non smoking but I told him I paid for smoking so he put me in a smoking room and it was horrible I will never stay there anymore everything was tucked up in the room # 237 bad experience didn't like nothing First curtains was torn all up somebody can see in room.tge bathroom sink was stopped up the bed was sitting on the floor the carpet so fucking nasty the chairs in room had big holds in chair I guess we was going to sit on the floor couldn't us the chairs everything was horrible the towels and rags was so Dingle didn't know whether they was clean or not didn't take no pictures for what scared to sleep there

• lorenzomA2052IS (2/5): Stay away - I just had the worst nights sleep in my life. My wife and I literally slept on a box spring at your motel. I travel a lot for the United Methodist Church and for the Federal government and I’ve never had the experience I had on last night. My wife and I had just attended my brother’s funeral and we were exhausted and just wanted to get a good nights sleep. That didn’t happen. I know now to stay clear of your motel and others under that name. Believe me I’m going to share this experience with everyone I know
• Shelley (1/5): Didn't Stay!!! - Front desk assistant was nice, hotel was in a good location Room was gross, mold on ceiling and walls, smelled musty, moldy. Lighting was very minimal. There was poop in the toilet and rings in the toilet. The place needs some serious help, updates, cleanliness.

• Jorge (6/5): Rather cancel trip than go back to this hotel - The room was clean but everything was runned down. The shower head didn’t have a head… it was just a covered tip of pipe. Flushing the toilet was scary cause it looked like it would overflow at any second. The room smelled of stale humidity. The towels were rough, dingy and full of stains. I ended up going out and purchasing a towel to use. I sat on the chair and almost fell thru it. I come to this area several times a year and I’ve stayed in other hotels in this area with much better results but had to take this room because everything else was booked up. In the future if I could only get this hotel, I’d unfortunately cancel my trip.

I could’ve been fine since it was just overnight. First room we were in; water didn’t drain in the sink or the tub. And the a/c didn’t work. It was hot. Second room much cleaner and a/c worked. Maybe they need to do walk thrus a little more often. Bed was low to the ground. Cushion not all that. I’m shocked the rating is better than the oyo. The red roof and quality inn I normally book were full. So. I’d rather not ever settle again. But these ratings aren’t a lie.

• Stacey (4/5): Run down and reeked of smoke.. - There aren’t a lot of reasonably priced options in Sumter so I stayed here hoping for the best. The first “non smoking room” I was put in REEKED of smoke. The second one wasn’t much better. Old linens with holes in them, old comforter, stale smelling room, sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I travel a lot and I’m pretty good about finding decent hotels at a fair price. This hotel was one of the worst I’ve stayed in. It’s needs an update and some fumigation. Stay elsewhere!!

Not one drop of water came out. I had to wait the next day for maintenance to come fix it.
• tkb201 (10/5): Very Good Motel! - Stayed 4 nights for business. Extremely friendly owner and staff, clean comfortable room and was even upgraded without additional charge. Near several restaurants, Walmart and Lowe’s. Overall a great location.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - The property is far away from 95N but it’s cheap and we didn’t have a choice because we were traveling with kids and needed a room to stay for one night. All better places in the area were sold out. The room was ok in size but bathroom wasn’t clean, towels were dirty and the bed was the most uncomfortable thing I had EVER slept on. Just be prepared to be disappointed but I guess we should have expected it considering last minute availability and cheap price.

Tiny towels, uncomfortable bed, broken, dirty shower stall / plumbing askew, broken, dirty commode, bedside helical bulb lamp broken, hangin by its wires, All this and more for $100 / night (jacked up due to Hurricane Flo, no refunds). Drove to Savannah - B & B there was positively heaven after 2 awful nights here. I kid you not about the bedbugs - my year in ‘Nam had less pestilence. And they had the nerve to feast on me, not my wife (well, maybe she got bit once or twice... in 35 years of marriage, to be the object of bug-diet... a first for me. Wait until the place gets fumigated before throwing your hard-earned bucks down the toilet!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing - I arrived at the motel and the front desk clerk was polite. The place looked a little seedy to me. After getting my room keys and taking my things in my key card stopped working. The clerk tried to reset my card but it didn't work. Even her master card didn't work. She had to get the manual key. Then stated people try to Jimmy the locks (!) Needless to say I was afraid to stay there. She did say if I wanted to I could get a new room but I was too tired from driving all day. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room smelled like smoke. The sheets were stained I'm just glad to be out if there.

• Bodashus1 (2/5): Dated Dirty Nasty - I'm sorry but this hotel is dated, extremely filthy, and beware of no refund sign. Once you walk in the room you will want your money back. They have the nerve to charge the same price as some of the hotels in the area. I don't recommend this dump.

• 987lisetteq (10/5): Evacuating from Florida - Hurrican Irma - This was one of the few hotels that was available in the South prior to Hurricane Irma. And that accepted dogs. We booked for 3 days and extended one more day before returning home to SWFL. The staff was always accommodating and made our difficult situation better. Traveling unexpectedly with a handicap person and two dogs in a sedan is not easy.
• Ryan (4/5): With a little help hotel could be a 1-star - I want to stress that the staff was very friendly and accommodating during the entire visit and that is the reason for the slight increase in rating. This hotel is old, in disrepair and dirty. It would be a stretch to give this hotel 1-star. The mattresses are old and judging by the stickers on them have not been flipped or cared for since the first of the year. The sheets had yellow stains and dirt on them, the comforter had burn holes in it and smelled heavily of smoke. The towels were child size and dingy with visible staining. Overall the hotel is run down and filthy and I would not recommend it to anyone. I have one strong suggestion. Redecorate the rooms - For less than $1000 per room you could turn this place around. Breakfast was coffee, waffles and cereal but no real room to enjoy it. The hotel has parking and a pool but the pool was closed during my stay. I wish I could find something redeeming about this location but it is just not worth more than $25 per night and I would never stay again. Coffee cups written on with sharpie, tv screwed to the desk, iron never cleaned bathroom dirty, mildew on the shower curtain. The list goes on.
