- Taylah (7/5): April Stay - This was my third time staying at Horseshoe Tourist Park, and it definitely won’t be my last. I really love how convenient the location is, it’s close to Coles, petrol stations, and everything you might need.
The view of the lake is beautiful, and it’s very peaceful at night with little to no traffic noise (only some during the day). The accommodation itself is comfortable and well set up, with a private bathroom and a functional kitchen (no oven, but still very usable).
The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the space warm on cold nights and cool during hot days.
Overall, a relaxing and reliable place to stay, I’ll definitely be back again. There were a few cleanliness issues that could be improved. I noticed some cobwebs (or dust webs), including one near the kitchen window on the left, another near the door to the next studio, and one around the air-conditioning unit.
The shower could also use a more thorough clean, as it appeared there may be some mould starting to develop. The shower head was also quite dirty.

- François (8/5): Ok pour un passage - Proximité de la route avec son désavantage Bruit de la route
Pas de wifi

- Brigid (10/5): Clean, modern studio cabin - The cabin was clean modern and well presented. The appearance overall of the property was quite barren. I think because there was very little grass in the camp area which we drove past to get to the lovely cabins.
- Jim (10/5): - Modern , clean and quiet A distance from all facilities

- Caitlyn (6/5): Left a sour taste in my mouth. Would not stay again. - The studio was great and beautifully presented. The staff. I came home from my classes to find my underwear had been touched and moved. Nothing was cleaned or towels replaced etc. Was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, I rang months prior to ensure I could bring our puppy (in case I needed to cancel and change accommodation) and was told it was no issue. When I arrived I was told ‘as long as the puppy doesn’t bother anyone, we put you in the middle of everyone’. Was quite nasty. I had called for a reason and would have cancelled had I received this attitude to begin with.

- Lisa (10/5): Would definitely stay again, 2 night wasn’t long enough to see all that Wagga had to offer . Wagga is a beautiful town t - The beautiful view over the dam from the front deck was delightful, especially at sunset . It was full of native birds. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the peace and quiet. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Nothing at all

- Trevor (5/5): Good for one night if the hot water had been checked. - Privacy. Comfortable. The hot water was NOT working as the gas hadn’t been switched over. Had to endure cold showers. Owners not very helpful when tried to contact them.
- Yvonne (6/5): Pleasant - Comfortable accommodation . Location 15 minutes from Wagga Wagga CBD ,no restaurants, etc, nearby.
- Dean (8/5): Very good -
- Aura (8/5): Helpful staff. Place suited our needs well. - A quiet park, with basic amenities. We were only there overnight so it suited us well. Staff were very accommodating, especially with our out-of-hours arrival. Also, we left something behind and they kept it in the office for us to collect. . We didn't dislike anything. It met our expectations.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Metz (7/5): Good -
- Kim (6/5): Good for a night or two. - The beds were comfy and the cabin was small but adequate and located close to the entry so was convenient. Lots of gravel and nothing surrounding, just fields which were quite dry at the time. The dam on the property was full of algae and was very low.
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- Gemma (5/5): Pleasant enough but cleanliness was a bit off - Quiet location, good for large family Not completely clean.
- Ryadh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Preston (2/5): TERRIBLE!!! - Nothing The receptionist was RUDE. The place was way to far away from town. Over priced & the cabin was connected to 2 other cabins that were loud all night. The "lake view" is a filthy pond that you can't even go near as it's contaminated. Couldn't uber anything to the property. For $180 a night, PICK IN TOWN!!! Don't fall for the pictures. The scenery was actually gross! And I'm an easy going person that never gives bad reviews. This review speaks VOLUMES.
- Chidgey (7/5): Good -
- Merryn (8/5): New cabins with good facilities for a family needing a short stay - The cabin was in very good condition with good facilities. It was fine for a one-night stay with a family of 2 adults, 2 children and a toddler in a porta cot. The pool wasn't cleaned so couldn't be used and the top bunk bed wasn't made. But the staff were friendly and provided the sheets. It was a very still night so the noise from the truck air brakes and motorbikes could be heard clearly.
- Angela (8/5): Very good -
- Jodi (7/5): Average accommodation with an expensive price tag.. - This pet friendly accommodation was clean and comfortable which was good for a nights stopover. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The accommodations were about five minutes drive from town. It was noisy so if you're a light sleeper you might consider somewhere further away from the highway. It was not cheap! This was by far our most expensive pet friendly accommodation on our travels this trip and didn't think it was great value for money.
- Taylah (7/5): T & J April Studycation - My partner and I stayed in one of the studios, and it was an amazing open-plan space. The kitchen, dining, and bedroom were all in one room along with a private ensuite. The studio had plenty of natural light, everything functioned well, and we had no major issues during our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the studio was well-equipped with utensils for cooking and cleaning—which was especially important to me as I am coeliac.
We did raise a few minor concerns with the front desk. The lady we spoke with was understanding and genuinely surprised by the issues we had encountered. We mentioned them on Friday, just a day before we checked out, mainly because we had no trouble using most of the studio. The concerns were small and easily adjusted once noticed. After showing her the photos, she assured us that she would be speaking with the cleaning staff to address them.
Overall, I felt the stay was well worth the money, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in a few months. The kitchen tap had signs of erosion, and when we turned it on, it leaked from underneath, running down the tap and into the cabinet below. We didn’t realise there was an issue until I noticed water on the floor after stepping in it—it had started seeping out from the cabinet.
Additionally, the shower (including the head, floor, and walls) hadn’t been properly cleaned, which unfortunately left me feeling unclean after using it. The bathroom basin also had what appeared to be mould around the inner seal.
- Locky (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cmason (7/5): Very expensive for what you got - The size of the cabin was great. It was quite far to the shops and the staff were often nowhere to be found. The Gas ran out on the second day of our three day stay.
- Irene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carina (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (9/5): Great self-contained family cabin - Brand new 2 bedroom cabin. Very clean. Effective air conditioning, good shower. Dog friendly. Arrived at night & couldn't find keypad to open boom gate. The post with the keypad is located well before you arrive at the boom gate & on the right-hand side of the entrance road. All ok once you find it!
Beds were a little soft, but ok for overnight stay.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome spot, a pet friendly 😀

- Kath (9/5): Superb -
- Kylie (8/5): Good - We stayed in a dog friendly cabin, arriving after 6 pm with no hassles and the aircons were turned on for us as it was a 38 degree day, so that was nice The bed needs an upgrade, bit saggy in the middle
- Claudia (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (8/5): Roomy comfortable cabin stay - Cabin was very clean and very comfortable, staff/owner was extremely helpful with our late night arrival
- Jarrod (9/5): Superb - Everything N/A

- Zack (1/5): Bad -
- Sharon (5/5): Never again - It was clean. Was nothing like we'd expected going off the photos from Bookings.com.
Although it was clean, We felt like we were in a FIFO accommodation.
Property was definitely in need of some TLC.

- Stuart (9/5): Great cabin and quiet caravan park - 2 bedroom cabin was spacious and well equipped. Really quiet location We had some trouble getting in at first as the keys were missing. However staff were really helpful in trying to resolve the issue
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Douglas (1/5): We could.never have we believed a place could degenerate to the level of this caravan park - We supplied our own breakfast,
The cabin we stayed in was reasonably clean and comfortable.
Noise from the highway made it very difficult to sleep.
The park managers seldom if ever answer their phone, we called several times of the day on successive days, and only received a voice message that they would call us back, never happened. The office was seldom if ever attended during the day, and had a notice , do not disturb us and respect our privacy. Men’s toilet urinal was out of order, for months by the look of it. Bed smelt badly and stale. BBQ had not been cleaned for weeks and was encrusted wit burnt on food and dripping dirty smelly fat. Doona covers and bedspread washing was was hung on the line when we arrive and was still there 2 days later, untouched. Garden, what garden was terrible, and the yard was all loose stones and very untidy, not. Maintained. There were a couple of permanent campers, and their surrounds were at best disgraceful.

- Olivia (10/5): Clean, nicely heated, roomy accomodation with very friendly staff. - The pet friendly cabin we booked was everything we needed for our short stay in Wagga. The staff were super friendly and very helpful right through, with answering all our questions prior to our booking, and also during our stay. Perfectly located few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the town, and we found everything super clean. Definitely highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the aircon, as every now and then, it starts doing this noise that sounds like a helicopter, but it doesn’t last long.
- Bradley (5/5): Passable -
- Skye (10/5): 100% recommend, for quiet time or family time. - We love this place. The staff are so accommodation, even when it's busy It's quiet. The kids love to fish in the lake. We always stay in the villas that ate so clean and spacious
It has everything you need. I never do these feedback things. But I must for horseshoe. Thank you guys so much!
- Lizz (7/5): Good -
- Graeme (3/5): A disappointing choice for our weekend in Wagga Wagga. - The cabin was clean and the host was pleasant. We were allocated a very compact, older style cabin which showed its age. The second bed was just the top section of a bunk bed and not comfortable. The cabin was not well heated for winter and would be very hot in summer - the air conditioner did not work properly and the second oil-filled heater was inadequate. (There were more modern cabins on site which looked quite nice, but appeared to cater for families rather than couples).
- Jess (2/5): Very poor - Receptionist was nice and entry was easy to find. Was nice to have electric blankets and heaters when it was freezing. For what I paid it was absolutely not worth it. Small space, hot water didn't last long for about a 5 min shower. The floor has scuff marks, holes and lifted. It just was not worth the price. Would have expected more space and if I had of upgraded would have cost way more for a nicer room. The spare room for a child was tiny and didn't even have a power point in the room or an electric blanket like the main room. I don't like leaving a poor review but it just was not worth it I would have paid the same if not less for a better room/hotel.
