Er was een andere medewerker aanwezig en terwijl ik een dag van tevoren had gezegd dat ik op een andere manier ging betalen, heeft deze medewerker mijn creditcard gebruikt zonder mijn toestemming. Ik vond het niet netjes terwijl hij op de hoogte door Felipe was gebracht.

• Michael (9/5): Beautiful lodging in great setting - Prime location within easy walking distance of central Coyoacan but also quiet, being on a calm side street. Once inside the gate things are beautiful with wood paneling, office and breakfast room. Our room has a very nice balcony overlooking a nice garden (it may have been the only one to have a balcony). Comfortable mid-sized bed. The bathroom and shower were truly works of art; I found myself admiring the stunning craftsmanship. Breakfasts were good, but a bit pricey. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We'd come back again and again! Not applicable.

Everything was wonderful so it is hard to say we did not like something. If I have to get nitpicky, I'd say it would be fun to have more variety for breakfast options through the week. But, that was not an issue as we loved the delicious breakfasts.

• Roberto (10/5): Character house BnB in amazing neighborhood - We loved the neighborhood of Coyoacan. Casa Jacinta was quiet but east walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was smaller than expected but very comfortable and clean. Great character in the BnB with a homey feel and lovely staff. Highly recommended. The water shut off briefly one morning for an hour. Seems like this is a recurring issue.
• Catherine (10/5): A wonderful quiet little gem of a hotel - The location is excellent, within walking distance to many cafés and restaurants. It’s also within walking distance to the Frida Kahlo Museum. Coyoacan is a beautiful part of Mexico City, full of tree lined streets. There are so many restaurants nearby that you really don’t need to eat at the hotel unless you want to. I also loved the hotel’s atmosphere. The hotel has a lovely garden. The hotel also has excellent, comfortable beds. Most of all though, the manager Emiliano is a very sweet person and he goes out of his way to be very helpful. He acted as if no request was too much, and never seemed to be in a rush when answering our questions about the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again when staying in Coyoacan. There are better breakfasts and coffee available nearby.

The staff accommodated our requests, like making breakfast a bit earlier than usual because we needed to leave by 7:30am. Emilio at the front desk was so nice and helpful and easy to talk to. The building and patio itself were beautiful and charming - so comfortable. The housekeeping staff were excellent. And free bottled water -- amazing!! So helpful. We'd stay here again and would highly recommend. We had a big, lovely room across the street from the main Casa Jacinta. It happened to be next to some neighbors (not from Casa Jacinta) who smoked a lot, so our room smelled a bit of cigarette smoke wafting in from the windows. This was unfortunate, but it was a minor thing overall. The staff offered to find us a different room, but we liked how big this room was so we didn't bother to move.
• Patricia (9/5): A comfortable and well-located stay with lovely staff, though the kitchen facilities could use some improvement - Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The house was very comfortable and calm, making it easy to relax. I really liked the decoration, and both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. The staff was lovely and extremely helpful, which made a big difference. The location is also excellent. On the downside, the kitchenware could be improved. The utensils and equipment were quite limited and not very practical. The only frying pan has clearly seen better days and should be replaced. There were only two glasses, and they didn’t even match. Adding a small microwave would also make the kitchen much more functional. I would recommend ensuring the kitchenware is complete and in good condition, as this would significantly improve the overall experience.

Our room was spacious and had a nice view onto the courtyard. The beds are small (full size mattresses) and the bathroom drain smelled a bit funky after a few nights.

• Angeles (5/5): Great location, rooms need to be upgraded and better maintained. - We booked as a family of 4 with two children. The room has two full beds, which were comfortable, but the quarters were tight as it is just one large room. We liked the ability to open windows and let in fresh air, and the optional breakfast (although it is very limited). Free waters in the room. Daily turning over of the room was a plus. In very close proximity to coffee shops, the town square, museums, etc. Great location. The garden and lobby space were nice and filled with games for our family to play during nights in. Coffee is available in the mornings but you must request and wait for creamer, milk, sugar, etc. Those items are not left out for guests to use as needed. Very tight quarters for a family with children. The TV is old and difficult to work. Split heater/AC made the room feel muggy when used. The bathroom had mold on the curtain and mold on the ceiling, this was the most concerning issue we dealt with. There is no bathroom fan, only a window. So, to clear out the shower steam, you had to open a window and then have a super cold bathroom. Towels were changed out when needed, but were really bad quality (very thin, holes, stains). Clearly, the rooms have not been maintained, upgraded or tended to. Towel racks falling apart, door handles falling off, etc.

The location was very walkable. We never saw anyone at the front office. I was told start work at 11:00 which is too late for any help regarding tours or info needed to start your day. I suggest a rubber shower mat. The mosaic is beautiful but hard on the feet.

• Kim (10/5): Comfortable , Laid Back and Friendly stay in a great location - Great location on a very quiet side street but only a 5-10 minute walk from the main plazas. Lots of good places to eat and bars just a street away. Manager was more than helpful and was genuinely chatty rather than just business like. We stayed in one of the cottages/apartments across the road from the main property. Split level with bed and bathroom up on the mezzanine level with living area and kitchen downstairs. Very quiet and secure. Good breakfast with daily changing cooked option like omelette or Mexican eggs. Lounge across the road but we did not need it and a lovely little garden out the back. Good supply of bottled water in the room which was replenished daily. Would struggle to think of anything.

Bathroom had a terrible sewer smell. Had to keep the window open at all times in the bathroom for the smell to not be noticeable. We had a very warm welcome and were made to feel at home instantly. We loved our room, it had beautiful artwork on the walls, a huge amount of space, lovely views over the garden, and a beautiful rustic tiled bathroom. And best of all it was incredibly quiet. It totally exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for us. I just wish we'd had time for breakfast but sadly we had to leave early for our flight home.

The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house location is a short walk from the Coyoacan center. The room would get moist during the day, but that was because of the rainy days and not being able to open the windows.

• John (10/5): - Super convenient location for exploring Coyoacan by foot. Impressively quiet! Room was clean and everything worked. Took me a while to figure out tv and cable box but had success in the end. Beds were very comfortable. Wifi ok. Cannot comment on in-house breakfast as we chose to eat out in town. Would stay again for sure!!!

• Rebecca (8/5): Excellent deal - The gardens were stunning and the house itself was so gorgeous. A true authentic experience. The breakfast and coffee were incredible! We had a balcony off our room which was the highlight of our stay! We used it a lot and really enjoyed the beautiful garden! We also got complimentary water bottles everyday. The room was cozy but basic. But still very nice and perfect for us.

Our room was in front of a beautiful backyard garden that was very relaxing. It was quiet and peaceful away from the busy piazzas. But close enough to walk to restaurants and stores. A perfect place to stay.
• Lynn (10/5): - Casa Jacinta is perfectly located for visits to craft markets, cafes, restaurants, parks, and especially the Frida Kahlo house. Staff are warm, rooms are large and comfortable, and the breakfast is tasty. There are indoor and outdoor spaces to relax in, and the entire "casa" is filled with amazing art. I would happily stay at Casa Jacinta again.

• Rosa (10/5): Beautiful Guest House - Loved the mexican environment and the staff. Breakfast was a bonus! The water filter stations were low, and the other guests were loud during breakfast and when they entered their rooms. But once it, it was fine.

• Megan (9/5): Gorgeous tucked away in a quiet neighborhood - Great location, gorgeous property. Choose this place if you're looking for something authentic and away from the busy city centre. An easy walk to great coffee shops and restaurants. The bed was firm (we liked that). I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I wish my Spanish was better so I could speak with the ladies who kept the house. I would absolutely recommend for a non-hotel experience. The breakfast available was also very good. It was on the pricier end for what you got, but that's more an general comment as there was nothing wrong with our stay and we were very happy.

• Melvin (8/5): - Casa Jacinta is beautiful and the staff are very pleasant. The one thing is their neighbor. Unfortunately, they had really loud small dogs that barked most of the night. They smoke heavily so you smell cigarettes often. There is a rooster adjacent that adds to the noise all night. It’s such a charming historical home but if you want to sleep at night, don’t count on it at least on the 19th side of the street.
