Charles (2/5): IT IS A ZERO STAR PLACE. DO NOT STAY - This was the wist place i stated in my intire life. No maid service and no towels or maid service in the 3 days .the office was locked alk 3 days .they didnt answer the phone and didnt care about nothing about you. Would be a dangerous place to stay without anybody on site for all the days i was there.spiders everywere. I killed the biggest black spider i haver ever seen in my life. The place is very run down . It does not eaven deserve a 1 star it reall should be a zero star. It needs alot of repairs and is very unclean. Very bad place to Stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rick (6/5): Wow, just wow! - The good... Typical little lake motel. Older, but not dilapidated. Room was clean and comfy. The bad... Check-in was weird to say the least. No one was actually maning the front desk. We arrived right before check-in time and the lobby was locked. There were no notices on how to check-in on the doors. Got back online and pulled up website to get phone number. Owner answered and told me she was not there and wouldn't be coming to check us in? Said it was off season and couldn't pay anyone to man the front desk...Uhhhhh, then why even advertise that you are taking guests??? Told her I made a reservation thru hotels.com and she said just give her my credit card number and she would right it down! Right...like I'm stupid enough to do that. Then she told me she could pull all my info off off the hotel.com website. My wife was concerned about the entire situation being legitimate. She asked where the owner was located and what we would do if we required anything during our stay. The owner snapped back that we were more than welcome to find some other accommodations to stay at. New years eve at 4 in the afternoon... The wife was pissed and asked how we were supposed to get a key to get in the room. The owner said there were electronic deadbolts on the doors. We looked at each other and decided we didn't have much choice. I told her to go ahead and process the payment. She gave us the code for the door and we couldn't get the electronic deadbolt to latch after we finally got in.
Pamela (8/5): Fine for one night stay - When we arrived about 6pm, the office was locked. There was a phone number to call. The woman who answered verified my reservation, told me my assigned room, and gave me the code and instructions to access the room. The room was basic and very clean. The bed and shower were very comfortable. Only bars of soap were available- no shampoo or conditioner.
Nicholas W (8/5): - Bring your own coffee and filters. Cups, sugar, creamer, and coffee makers are available for your use in the lobby. Swimmimg pool will be nice when they get it open. Nice new owners. I wish them the best. I have already reserved a room for Ozark Bikefest 2022.

David (6/5): Sticky carpet - Typical for a motel this age ( 1960’s decor). The biggest problem we had was the carpet. When the carpet was last cleaned it wasn’t properly rinsed which left surfactant. We were not able to walk barefoot and if we didn’t want filthy socks we needed footwear so it was very inconvenient. The area around the ice machine needs thorough washing as the urine odor was prevalent. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It appears the new owners are overwhelmed and the motel is definitely understaffed. We won’t be back.
Dustin (6/5): Dirty floor - Hotel was what I expected. The room was clean but dated. Pillows were terrible. Floor was very dirty. Would turn sock black. Very good location with go carts and mini golf next store. It was a place to stay if you are not picky. Could be a decent hotel if a little work was put into it.

Lori (8/5): Nice budget-friendly place - This place pleasantly surprised me. It is pretty old, but it was well-kept and the rooms were very clean. The new owners just took over and were working on fixing the place up our entire stay. Check-in was friendly, and it was quiet even when fully booked. Great inexpensive place to stay withing driving distance of so many places.
Gary (8/5): Ok for what it was (cheap) - In general the room was clean but the outside was dirty and the entire location was very dated. The hotel I understand was recently sold and the lobby was in shambles. The coffee in the lobby wasn't very good and no coffee makers in the room. The pool was not open and still covered up. Big disappointment on such a warm weekend.
Janelle (8/5): Great location, clean room and great service! - Fantastic location, next mini golf and the State Park with a beach, trails, and boat rentals. The service was outstanding and room was clean and comfortable, so we felt it was a good value for the money. A few maintenance items should be handled soon such as the lose, tilting toilet seat, slow sink drain and caulking around the base trim of the bathroom.
Stephanie (8/5): Weekend at Scottish Inns, Osage Beach - It was a nice place to stay if all you want is a place to lay your head and to shower. The bed was soft and cushy, but bring your own pillows if you need more than one. It is older but well kept and clean.There was a mini fridge, TV and blow dryer. It was surprisingly quiet (and we were on the lower level). Family run business and they were very friendly and helpful. It is easy access to Hwy 54. Pet friendly was a plus. Definitely nothing fancy. I would stay there again.

Tyler (10/5): Scottish Inns - Let me start off by clarifying that this place is NOT the Ritz Carlton. And that is perfectly fine by me. This is a great No Frills hidden gem. Its a Ma & Pa type run property. It was extremely quiet day and night which was awesome. The rooms were IMPECCABLY clean. The mattress wasnt great, but not bad. It was just a place to crash for 2 nights, and shower. It had an overabundance of clean towels in the room. I couldnt have been happier with my stay, Would recommend, and would stay there again.

Dallas (8/5): - Don't expect luxury. This is a basic sleeping room, not a resort. The room was dated and obviously old. The bathroom and bedroom were both well cleaned but some items were worn or faded. It was CLEAN and basic. The only thing I did miss was a coffee maker. I have stayed at more expensive place in this area that were not clean and was pleased with this. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all if your looking for an overnight or plan to use this as a base for your activities, you could do much worse.

$herry (2/5): - Upon arrival I requested linen for my room & was advised by front desk attendant that the linen had just been changed & for us not to lay on the beds that she would come remove the linen so she can reuse it, how trifling, the hotel was old outdated, the tub didn’t drain properly, the toilet broke but was fixed immediately, the carpet was old & changing colors, the comforters had stains & holes in them, we removed them & used our own throws & the towels were off white & stained/unclean looking, the pool was deplorable filled with all type of bugs & the check in location had a bad odor, if I could have gotten a refund we would have left & not stayed, so I would not recommend this Inn nor return...

Verified traveler (4/5): Depressing experience at Scottish Inn - This motel is run down and the appearance and a has a distinct odor, is was a very depressing and disappointing stay. I was surprised as motel did not match the appearance I expected from online add. The request for a nonsmoking room was met but when the room is located next to an outdoor smoking area it does little good. My wife and I were very disappointed. I will think twice in the future prior to booking a room with your service if this is what I can expect. I would recommend that this motel be removed from the list you advertise.
CM (4/5): Inexpensive compared to others in the area. - The motel was not expensive compared to others in the area but you pay for what you get. It is older and did not include any amenities. It was clean for the most part. The bedspread was not clean, the sheets had holes and the blanket was very worn and had lint piles all over. There wasn't any coffee pot and only soap samples included. Towels were small and thin.There was a very small table and two straight back chairs to sit in. The good points were wifi and cable. Probably would not recommend unless someone just wanted a plain, cheap room while passing through that area.
Verified traveler (6/5): Scottish Inns 'Bout What You'd Expect - Decent motel for the money. Unlike similarly priced motels, which pride themselves on investing in their accommodations and guest experience, Scottish Inns is very run of the mill. Stay here and you will be treated to outdated furniture, no microwave or refrigerator, a tiny TV, a cheap bed and bedding, limited outlets to plug in electronics, and an exterior door that hardly closes due to wear and tear, among other niceties.

Susan (8/5): Reasonable Price - We have stayed at the Scottish Inn numerous times. I find the accommodations great for the price. The room is clean, the mattresses and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom's shower has hot water. I would like a grab bar in the shower area -- just because I have a hard time getting in and out of a high tub. I like the fact that you can just back your car up to the door and move items into the room.
