Mikael (2/5): vraiment bof - l’emplacement etait favorable piece a vivre grande pour une famille avec enfants tres bien tres sale le sol etait pas nettoyé la salle de bain est franchement sale avec les sols qui se decollent de la moisissure partout des fourmis dans tout les coins les matelas sont vieux et pas confortables mon bebe de 18 mois ne pouvait meme pas aller par terre tellement c’était sale il avait tout le temps les pieds remplis de saletes et de fourmis les draps des autres chambres qui sechent a l’extérieur c’est bien mais le bordel et les draps qui traînent dans les herbes et sousbla pluie c’est moins glop

Breddermann (1/5): Don‘t go there - The staff reacted to my requests. Everything! Is was absolutely not worth the money we paid 5600 baht for 3 nights and when we got there they assigned us a different room than we requested (wayyyyy uglier). Upon my request that I want the room I booked they kicked another couple out of their room so we could move in. The other room was a bit better but still horrible. It was dark and very very filthy they hadn‘t even washed the bathmat. Absolutely not worth the money we booked another room then in a different hotel for waaaayyyyyyy less that was perfectly fine. Do not waste your money there. Just gave them the key and left. Would be okay for maybe a third of the price they ask.

Ligger precis brevid en moské som gapar stup i kvarten. Allmänt sunkit och ofräscht. Hade bokat 3 nätter men checkade ut strax efter vi kom dit. Så rekommenderar inte detta hotell.

Lili-Marie (10/5): Ihanaa! - Ensinnäkin sijainti oli hyvä ja piha-alue viihdyttävä. Istuimme monena iltana pihassa. Huoneessa oli toimiva ilmastointi ja vettä tuli lämpimänä. Huone oli siisti ja lakanat puhtaat. Tietenkin kosteassa Thaimaassa tämän kaltaisista ja hintaisista huoneista löytyy hieman mustia pilkkuja yms… mutta ne eivät viihtyvyyttä haitannut. Muay Thai treenisalin ääniä ei kuulunut yhtään. Moskeijasta kuului aamulla ääntä mutta lopulta en edes herännyt siihen. Loi mukavaa eksoottista tunnelmaa. Vessa veti vähän huonosti, mutta se johtui siitä että matkaseurueeseeni kuuluu kaksi miestä, jotka tukkivat tuotoksillaan pöntön…

The walls weren’t soundproof at all so every night we could hear screaming shouting from the girls staying next door until early hours of the morning. The toilet completely broke even though we flushed no toilet paper. Overall it was okay but we were disappointed.

Apparemment si on peu dire ça , beaucoup de bruit du passage sans arrêt et une porte qui laisse rentrée lumière non stop. Un tarif excessif pour un matelas ou vous sentez les ressort dans tout votre corps. Pas de wifi et une piscine enfin une pataugeoire ! Draps tachée avec du sang

T-rose (7/5): - Wie haben 2 Nächte im Apt. C2 mit 2 Du/WC und 2 Doppelbetten (150 bzw. 180 cm breit) in 2 Schlafzimmern (von denen das eine kein Fenster hat, bloß einen Ventilator, bei dem man an der herabhängenden Wasserflasche ziehen muss, um ihn einzuschalten) jeweils mit Klimaanlage. Das Bäckereicafé liegt ca. 100 m entfernt in südl. Richtung auf derselben Straßenseite. Nachts ist das Apt. meist ruhig, was den Straßenlärm betrifft. Unweit von Lanta Komplex befindet sich eine Moschee, die 5:00-5:30 Uhr (und zu verschiedenen Tageszeiten) den Gebetsgesang zu Bwginn und Ende dee Andacht für ca. 2-3 min laut und deutlich über Lautsprecher verbreitet, sodass man zwangsläufig selbst mit Ohrstöpseln im Ohr davon aufwacht ... Leider ist der Gesang oft unsauber und lässt musikalisch sehr zu wünschen übrig.

Nor Amziela (1/5): Don’t make the same mistake as I did — I booked in a rush without reading the reviews. - Just the location I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the condition and services of the 3-bedroom apartment during my stay. The apartment was in a very poor condition. The main door could not be locked properly. When we requested a replacement lock, a padlock was provided instead, which is unacceptable for guest safety. The floor was sandy and not clean. The bath towels were dirty, and even after requesting replacements, the towels provided were still not properly cleaned. Old towels should be replaced with new ones to meet basic hygiene standards. Additionally, the blankets provided were extremely thin and unsuitable for guest comfort. There were many mosquitoes in the apartment. Despite requesting mosquito spray, no action was taken by the staff. Considering the high price charged, the quality of accommodation and service received was far below expectations and not worth the cost. This experience reflects very poorly on the management of the property. Serious improvements are required, and I strongly believe that the hotel should either be closed temporarily for corrective measures or undergo a change in management.

Antoine (1/5): A loud and inconvenient stay with basic comfort overlooked—definitely not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. - Be Mindful Before Booking This place is primarily a boxing school, meaning people are training all day long, often grunting and shouting while exercising. Additionally, the main road is very noisy, and the mosque is just 100 meters away, which means the first prayer starts at 5 AM and then again at 6 AM every morning. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this might not be the best choice. For the price I paid, I didn’t feel it was good value. I paid the same price for a booking in Phuket Old Town and it was a higher standard. I’m not particularly picky, but travelers should be aware of these things before booking. Positive Aspects • Beach Access: Definitely a highlight! The beach is just 200 meters away—cross the road, walk down an alley, and you’re there. And it’s gorgeous! • Plenty of Restaurants: Many dining options nearby, including restaurants and bars on the beach. • Close to the Pier: About a 25-minute walk or a 3-minute taxi ride. • Scooter Rentals: Available everywhere, including one right in front of the complex. • Gym Access: The lady at the facility kindly offered me access to the gym equipment in the boxing school. • Ideal for Muay Thai Training: If you’re coming for Muay Thai, this is probably a great place to train. From what I observed, the trainers were skilled, and the facilities seemed perfect for a boxing boot camp. I stayed here for four nights at €32 per night, and honestly, I don’t think it was worth it. I’ve stayed in a hostel in Phuket Old Town for the same price, and it was ten times better. I adapted to the nuisances, but I feel the need to speak up since there aren’t many reviews or detailed descriptions about this place. Major Issues: • Toilet Noise: The bathrooms are separated by a thin plywood partition, which means you can hear everything—farting, peeing, and even the plopping sounds from the other side. Luckily, no odors, but it honestly feels like someone is doing their business right next to you. • Muay Thai Noise: Training happens all day long, from morning to evening, with no interruptions. The constant yelling and grunting are understandable since it’s part of the sport, but it’s not ideal if you’re trying to relax. • Mosque Prayer: The first call to prayer starts at 5 AM, followed by another at 6 AM. I’m an early bird, so it didn’t bother me, and I respect that it’s part of the culture. However, travelers should be aware of this. • Traffic Noise: The main road is very busy and noisy until 11 PM–midnight and picks up again at 5 AM. • Scooter Nuisance: My room was on the ground floor in the main alley, and people parked their scooters right by my door, which was disruptive. They can ask customers to park on a designated spot free of customers’ rooms.

The rooms were not very clean, our window and lock was broken (was fixed quickly by a lovely maintenance man on the property).

We stayed in two rooms, neither of them were very clean but if you don't mind a little grub..... they are perfectly fine. We booked because we wanted a kitchen but there were limited pots, cutlery ect So didn't end up making anything.

Sheets and towels get washed and thrown on a couch until they are needed again. Not folded. Garbage and junk everywhere. Ants in our room constantly and no spray. The room was clean but the overall impression was not great. Would not stay here again.

83carolinar (10/5): Amazing and family friendly place for short and/or long term stay! - Amazing family friendly place. The owner Penn is lovely and makes everything to make her guests feel welcome. Next door there is a gym and muy thai training center where you can take muy Thai classes. The staff is so lovely and I highly recommend staying here.

The owner Penn made sure that I always was a part of the community at Lanta Complex, with gatherings, BBQ, and much more. I can recomend staying here both short-term and longstay.

jonasolind (10/5): Good place to stay for a short or a long time with all you need. - We lived at Lanta Complex for a long period of time and would love to come back. The service was good and if you ever needed anything Pensri or her helpers could always guide you to get what you want. It´s situated close to a calmer part of the beach wich was nice for me and my family with small kids. Lanta Complex s close to a lot of things like thaiboxing, different restaurants, small stores, groceries and foodmarkets. Lanta complex also have a bar by the entrance that plays different kind of live music and serves food and drinks. Sometimes BBQ:s is served in the social area on the hotel which contributes the feeling of being at home. A great place!

621hannel (8/5): Lanta Complex - We stayed there for 5weeks. Very good location. We had a family room which was big and a good shower. Maybe something to out 5he clothes in would have been good. There was a common kitchen /living room area , which was very good. We had such good neighbors so spent a lot of time outside with them. Nice parties ( Christmas, New year, birthday) and everyone was invited. Very familiar atmosphere. The noise from the bar and moskee didn't bother us.
TimoV557 (4/5): Excecutive suite was joke - We took that 2 rooms Excecutive suite for 3 people. Pictures looked so nice. There was space BUT rooms it was very used and many flyes in toilet. And last night in neighbor music bar was especially noise to 2 am and after that there was music but not so loudly.
Holly2016K (6/5): It was ok! - Location was great for the beach as it was less than a 5 minute walk to a beautiful quiet section of the beach - which we loved. But if you are wanting to go anywhere else like the pier or other parts of the island I'd recommend hiring a bike - we did for 2 days and it made getting around so much easier. The rooms here we big enough for the two of us but lots of mosquitos when we first got in. We out the ac right down and most of them disappeared after this. The bathroom is quite small and when having a shower everything gets wet and the tiles can be quite slippery but we didn't mind. Next door a band we're playing our first night and they were great but the noise from our room was quite loud if you are a light sleeper. Overall though I think it was ok for the time we were here!
