- Tamara Noelia (8/5): Muy nuevo todo. Poco insonorizado. - El piso muy guay, muy nuevo todo!. Con todo lo necesario para alojarte unos días. Éramos 3 y el sofá cama es un poco duro. Pero para dos noches o así va bien. Las camas si son cómodas. Que hay que buscar las llaves en una recepción. Cuando pasan la dirección no aclaran que es en el mismo porto y puedes esquivarte e irte a la otra dirección que es misma calle y mismo número, pero en otra localidad que queda a los mismos minutos desde la estación de tren. Doble gasto en bolt. Da mucho el sol en el apartamento que me han dado y si hace calor pues pica un poco. Por la tarde/noche había una fiesta en un piso de abajo delante y se oye como si estuviera ahí contigo.

- Montse (9/5): - Apartamento bien ubicado,cerca del metro y del mercado de Bolhao, cómodo y limpio,por ponerle un pero,no tiene ascensor,pero estábamos ubicados en la primera planta y que no conseguimos encontrar una fregona y un cubo,por lo demás excelente Como he comentado en el punto anterior,quizás el he hecho de no tener ascensor,pero tampoco es importante y que no encontrarámos un cubo y una fregona

- Guest (4/5): Alojamiento muy ruidoso en el lado del dormitorio - No tenía desayuno incluido. La ubicación es buena Muchísimo ruido de tráfico rodado a todas horas. Ese alojamiento necesita un buen ventanal de doble acristalamiento para amortiguar el ruido, es demasiado. Además la habitación que es el lugar de descanso queda justo en ese lado del edificio. Una pena, porque el alojamiento en gral está muy bien pero no repetiría puesto que el ruido del tráfico es demasiado. Y por otro lado el penúltimo día formule un par de dudas y no obtuve respuesta por parte del alojamiento.

- Ernest (10/5): - Bonito apartamento situado en el centro de Oporto. Bien situado para recorrer Oporto a pie. Apartamento muy amplio, cómodo y muy acogedor. Dispone de todos los utensilios y equipamientos para pasar unos días con todo el confort. No hay parquing privado. Tienes un pk público a 5minutos andando que te permite coger bonos por días.

It is near the tourist things but not SO close that it was loud at night. The bed were extremely comfortable and the hosts were quick to respond to any of my questions. Having a front desk (half a block away) was key when arriving. I stayed in 3 other locations during my Europe trip and this one was by far my favorite. 10/10 recommend - felt VERY safe

Reception was extremely helpful when my airline lost my luggage, helping to find replacement clothes and keeping in contact with me about the eventual delivery of my luggage. I am so so grateful that the property has a reception desk - as it meant I didn’t have to wait at the apartment all day! Nothing!

Very clean, easy check in and well equipped. Highly recommend. Some noise at night from neighbours but it seems walls are often thin in older buildings.

Terrific to have a washer and rack to dry clothes. Air conditioning was great and having parking garage available was a huge plus. As we knew the layout is a bit odd as it is long and narrow and inconvenient for the bathroom to be so far away from the bedroom. Would have helped to have a mirror in the bedroom and tea towels in the kitchen. Nice to have a printed brochure about the place but given times an online pdf or website would be more helpful to cover info like WiFi and TV streaming etc. Would have appreciated double bed instead of twins but we did know that ahead of time.

- Jorge (9/5): Superb - The apartment location is very good and is bigger than what it looks in the pictures. The room has adequate size, long corridor and good size leaving room and kitchen. Good and close by parking. Host very attentive to any needs and constantly communicating by WhatsApp. Very appreciated that host leaved some coffee capsules for the machine. I have to be clear, I will stay here again as the value for money is great. There are only two things that can be better and will push the rating to 10.- The sofa bed is not very comfortable and the view from the apartment is not very nice (old back of buildings). For the view nothing to do about it but the sofa I think can be improved.

- Renalam (8/5): Modern apartment in Porto. - This apartment is nice, modern, looks new. There is a bedroom, facing the street, with big windows and wooden shatters. It was quiet and peaceful to sleep there. Besides bedroom there is comfortable living room and kitchen with big windows. I did not like separate reception at different location. First you need to check in at the reception (if you have car - to pay for parking, which is at different location as well). Then walk to entrance door to discover- there is code entry to the building and to the apartment. While booking, it was stated, somebody will meet us at the apartment. Having luggage and a car it was not the most convenient way to check in and get to the apartment. View from the kitchen is bit strange. A lot of upkept buildings, and small additions. This apartment, San Bento, was on 2nd floor, with steep stairs, 44 steps (if I count them correctly). I like the staff, helpful and friendly.

- Amanda (9/5): Great stay! - This apartment was perfect for our needs. It had a full kitchen with a dining area, as well as a lounge area and separate bedroom. The bathroom was a good size as well. It is located in walking distance to all of Porto's attractions, and is very easy to find and get into. Note that you must climb up stairs to get into the units, so this may not be suitable for individuals with reduced accessibility.

Check-in is not at the property, about a 5-minute walk away. Lots of stairs to the top floor. I knew this in advance but needed to switch on the light as it was quite a dark stairwell.

- Michelle (6/5): Eight flights of stairs! - Central location. Apartment clean. I had put our arrival time in the booking on the Booking.com app and also confirmed this by message when requested by the apartment company. We arrived on time to find the reception closed and, if a guest staying at the apartments hadn't let us in to the foyer, we would have needed to wait for 20 minutes on a narrow pavement in 30c heat until the receptionist returned. We received no explanation or apology for the wait and he then asked if we'd mind waiting further whilst he dealt with a query from another guest. We were then checked in and told the apartment was on the fourth floor but not to worry as there was a lift. The receptionist then took us on a five minute walk to our apartment building at which point he said the apartment was on the fourth floor but there wasn't a lift and we had to carry our luggage up eight flights of stairs.

I chose it over others because it offered a ‘balcony’….. however it was more like a grid over the windows because it was so narrow. The street is very noisy with traffic and continues to be busy through the night, not conducive to a restful sleep.

- Alistair (9/5): A great location from which to explore Porto - The location is good and is within walking distance of the main centre of Porto. The apartment was on a busy street but was very quiet inside. The heating worked well and kept us warm. There were lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The property hosts were easily contactable and were very helpful. The layout of the apartment was long and thin, but this did not matter to us as we were out most of the time.

The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. It has a small terrace which was nice on warm days. Though the building is on a busy street, the unit was quiet except for occasional street noise. There are restaurants and shops nearby, and it is an easy walk to the Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, the Capela das Almas, the Sao Bento Station, and the riverfront area. The metro is only ten minutes away, which was helpful. There was nothing we did not like.

- Robert (10/5): - Our apartment was spacious and clean. There were 63 stairs to get to our place, but we needed the exercise. Just beware if you are mobility challenged. Staff is very helpful and responsive. We would stay here again.
