Guest Reviews
- Lori (4/5): - I expected dated decor and rough looking facilities for this price point. I only wanted clean and safe. I specifically picked a place that didn't have plexiglass in front of the check in area because I wanted to be safe and didn't want to be in a dangerous place. The picture of lobby is a bait and switch. You can't get to the lobby but have to walk behind the lobby, down a hidden hallway and talk through a very window to pay and talk to the clerk. I didn't feel safe. The bedroom was clean but the bathroom was not clean. There was dead bugs and hair everywhere, including clogging the drain.
- Sharon (10/5): - The management is superior to any I've experienced so far. The motel is well maintained as well as the pool. I like staying here.
- Sharon (10/5): - The staff here are really nice and friendly. This motel is older, so it has a few minor structural things, (bathroom door sticks, air conditioner has to run constantly), but I enjoy the overall experience here. The yard is great for my pets and they are welcome. Great place for a great price!
- Sharon (10/5): - Although the motel is old, it's well maintained and the property is lovely. They welcomed my pets and have a great pavilion and large yard.
- james (10/5): - The man and woman running the place was very friendly and accommodating. We had the suite. It large and roomy. Comfortable. It is at the end of town, but it was across from a golf course so it was quiet. It is an older motel but it had everything we needed. Even chicken wings and pizza at the store next to it :). Would be great for a family or a small group. If u like out of the way. Bout 3 miles from eating and shopping. The next time I am in that area this is where I'm staying. I didn't even mind the drive back and forth to Memphis.
- Laura (10/5): - The property is kept clean. Room service is very nice and convient. They are respectful and polite any tike ive had issues with room they have quickly taking care of it.
- Laura (10/5): - Well
- Casey (2/5): - Not as advertised, very dated rooms, broken tiles on floors, holes in the comforter, dried blood/body fluid on walls, bath was dirty, this is not a hotel as advertised it is a motel.
- Katherine (4/5): - Our housekeeper was very nice. Everything was old and scuffed up. Shower head was too low. Bed was too hard. I had to sleep on the love seat. Bathroom didn’t have handrails for disability. I got what I paid for.
- Charity (10/5): - I liked everything
- Verified traveler (4/5): Emergency stay onlyif needed - Hotel was old, outdated, not very clean.i cleaned the room myself and purchased my own lunens
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirty, stinky, dilapidated
- Harvey (2/5): Potential but disappointed - WiFi connection terrible. Roaches, doors not secure, burns on comforter and sheets.
- Marguerite (8/5): very low budget - I was charged for the room and I thought I already paid hotel.com will have to look that up later
- Dan (6/5): Ok for the price - Place was relatively clean. Swimming pool was completely closed with a winter cover bolted in place. No where to sit outside and enjoy nice weather. Would stay here again if price is right but would probably try somewhere else with comparable price.
- Mary Ann (4/5): Enter at your own risk! - It was not what I expected. Noisy, dirty, no coffee maker, very few amenities. No inside access to lobby. Had to check in through an outside window!
- thomas (2/5): Move on, it’s bad - Was traveling through and needed somewhere to basically sleep so that I could finish my drive the next day. Upon arrival I was talked to through a window that a full piece of paper wouldn’t fit through. The room was in shambles two of three light fixtures didn’t work and the bathroom door handle was not functional due to the fact that the door looked like it had been kicked in. The pull out couch in the room I had pulled out to see if there was any way to plug the lamp in, there was trash and an empty beer bottle. I don’t know how much hotels.com get paid to reserve rooms for you here or how it all works. I just know that I would distance myself as far as possible from this property.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was comfy.
- Jennifer (8/5): - well the room was ok. but dark. looks like it was being remodeled and just not finish. no plates on plug ins.
- Aubree (8/5): Great rooms - Wonderful
- Verified traveler (6/5): - You get what you pay for. Could have been cleaner.
- Keal (6/5): - My stay was ok.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's an okay place? Does have ice maker, mini Friday and microwave.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The male manager had an attitude and the room was dirty and had mold in the corner of the tub. I will not be going back there and have told many people not to go there . False advertising. I reserved a smoking room and I got a non smoking room even though the woman manager was nice wnough to let me smoke in there.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was not cleaned . Fridge broken and dirty... mouse poop in cabinets... sheets not changed etc
Room was tiled which was nice but cleanliness was not up there
- Am (4/5): - This hotel is scary. Cold. Dirty. U get what u pay for. Period
- Shelli (8/5): Okay Stay - This hotel is okay. It's basic, and quiet. Room was okay. No complaints.
- Allen (2/5): Sucked - This hotel is run down and needs to be completely renovated
- Verified traveler (4/5): Spend some money and repair and upgrade everything - I have stayed here twice now, once in a double bed and once in a single. I have a list of complaints but I will use the beds. All of the beds held no support at all. I gave them a second chance and I got a single bed. Same thing, no support. Everything here needs replacing. If you're hurting for cash and you really need a place to stay this is your place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel was a great location near the Naval Base. The condition of the hotel was questionable. The residents who live there are noisy all night.
- Melissa (2/5): Very disappointed - Room smelled of smoke so bad we checked out early and my friend got bed bug bites all over her . Very disappointed with hotel but Miss Martha was amazing at the front desk
- Pineapple (2/5): NEEDS UPDATING BADDDDD - This hotel's location is very convenient to where I was visiting but it needs updating bad. The doors don't close securely. I put the table to the door for the night to feel a Lil more safe. Toilets are way too low to the floor for those of us with bad knees. It was a clean room bit because it is so outdated it just felt uncomfortable.
- Rosa (8/5): - It was cool place to stay due to the weather
- Shad (4/5): Affordable - Administrative staff was pleasant. Cleaning staff did a terrible job. You can tell the building is old. Needs some loving. My refrigerator door was covered with dust and dirt.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay - Creepy ppl walking the hotel. We were asked if we wantes a room by the hour or night. Bathroom cabinet door missing. Our bed comforter looked like someone had been sitting on it till thw rime we arrived then left. The room stunk. We didnt even stay the night. We left and drove 3 hrs back home.
- Melissa (6/5): Clean room - The entire place reeked of cigarettes. The housekeeping staff smoked while cleaning rooms. The mattress was not very supportive, too squishy. The room was clean and the people were nice. Too bad the pool was closed, it was August, a swim would have been nice.
- Nita (4/5): Worst hotel ever - Crappy hotel.. furniture was very old, bed was itchy, very outdated. Manager did refund me my money back. Hotel staff was nice!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This place was nasty!! Stained bed and bedding and a nasty smell in a nonsmoking room!! We left within 15 minutes
- Verified traveler (10/5): Close to pool - I had a great stay and love my room
It was available
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and quiet! - Its an older hotel BUT the beds slept amazingly and the staff was wonderful!
- Pearl (6/5): - little out of the way. hot was great. they need non skid Matt's in tubs
- Carlos (10/5): Clean, Friendly Stay - Hotel was very good and bed was comfortable. Did not have any problems during my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- HELEN (10/5): Nice Motel but not many local places to eat. - Were upgraded to a suite. When frig missing they went out and purchased a new small frig for the room.
Only problem was too far off I-75 along with construction and very few local dining options.
- Verified traveler (2/5): DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL....IT WAS HORRIBLE - I was there to race in The Navy Nautical 10 Miler and this hotel was only a mile away from the Navy Base which was convenient but the pictures on the Internet was deceiving... the hotel room stunk very bad and was in very bad shape, the sheets had blue marker all over them, and there was a woman who apparently lives there with her six children, and there was 2 little ones sitting on the steps who kept asking us for money every time we walked by, which was disturbing because there parents were no where in site... then at 3:00 o'clock in the morning we was woke up by voices who was being very loud outside of our door and then someone started jiggling the door handle like they was trying to get in our room... Scared the mess out of me. The room looked like it had not been clean, it was horrible.. the only good thing about this hotel is that it had free WiFi and the woman who worked the front desk was extemely nice but I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL, because my husband went to the front office to ask for more towels because the 2 that was left for us was so thin and nasty looking with stains all over them that the hotel owner said they didn't even show that we was registered there and asked my husband for his room key to verify that we was really staying there which was extremely weird considering they charged my credit card so atleast I had proof of that... but I do not even rate this hotel a 1 out of 10.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic and decent for the price - The room smelled a bit like cigarettes which wasn't ideal. The place had several families living there which wasn't really expected. The people working the desk were nice but there wasn't much in the way of extras offered. Still, it was good enough for the one-night stay and it was good for the price.
- Cassandra (10/5): Great ppl - I enjoyed myself and customer service and housekeeping was great and friendly. I have met some wonderful people at the hotel.
