Savanna (4/5): - Hotel didn’t have much going on and barely people staying. The pool was dirty and not cleaned all 5 days there. Food was mediocre

We would have preferred an upper level room like our last stay, but we were not given a choice and received a ground floor room with no view.

One of the days they only brought us one fruit bowl when we asked for 2 because they didn’t that fruits The shower water was coming to the room Lizard in the room When we first arrived, we had to wait at least 30 mins until we got up and talked to the front desk girl and we never got our welcome drinks
Luiz (8/5): - Positives: Super charming and welcoming hotel with an amazing pool and rooftop. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s not in the middle of the city where most restaurants are, but an easy 10–15 minute walk gets you there. There’s a great supermarket right across Avenida Cobá, and parking is conveniently in front of the hotel. They offer beach towels, and our room was comfortable. Best of all, there are three super cute and friendly orange cats living on the property. Ok: Breakfast is included but with limited options; still decent to start the day. The shower drain was initially too tight, preventing proper water flow, but loosening it solved the issue. Negatives: Towels could be fluffier, no non-dairy milk options at breakfast, and our balcony’s sliding door was hard to pull. Overall: A cozy, cat-friendly boutique stay with a great location and relaxing amenities — with a few small details that could make it even better.

Imani (8/5): - Excellent location for first-timers , solo travelers and anyone who rather be in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast menu can be better but not a big deal. The only thing was that the charge for washcloths if you they can’t get the stain out which most women wear some form of makeup so ladies bring your own. Not very busy location and easy to get to things from that location. Overall, great stay!
Leslie (6/5): - Overall I would rate our experience here a 5/10. When we arrived, we had one person in front of us checking in and it took nearly 45minutes to check in. Once we checked we arrived to our room, our rooms and the hotel itself is very beautiful. We then found out the elevator did not work so for our stay we had to take the stairs. Since it was a long trip, we decided to have dinner at their restaurant the food wasn’t just ok, but during our stay the lights were constantly going out. During dinner they went out around 4 times and a couple more times throughout the night. The area outside is not the cleanest but I will say I didn’t feel unsafe walking even at night. There is a supermarket just a short walk from the hotel. The next morning we had breakfast which was included for us but the menu was extremely limited. The only drinks included were coffee, tea and milk followed by 6-8 dishes. I wanted the waffles but during my entire stay the waffle machine was broken. They also had an extended breakfast menu which you could order from for an extra cost. The staff is very nice and friendly so no complaints about that. Checkout took a longer amount of time than expected as they check the room during that moment to make sure there is no damage. We used 2 small white towel to dry our face which left some makeup and this resulted in them charging us for both towels claiming they could not clean them so they had to replace them. Lastly, if you are used to US hotels I would skip this one.

Cecilio (4/5): - This is the second time I stay and the only reason I choose it’s for the location this is the same guy who make the check in he toll me it’s low season when he take me to the room it was on the corner the 103 queen bed and when I make the reservation it was king I toll him last time I made the same one and they give me exactly the same room I reserved this time no chairs no table only where you hang your clothes and he toll me it’s that what it’s available I stay for 5 nights and I was returning he could be more flexible good thing I not thinking of retuning to Tulum the beaches where horrible

The main pool was good size and clean, there is fun rooftop area with good views and soaking tubs. Our breakfast was included, you ordered off a menu and it was tasty and filling. If you have rented a car and want to see a lot of sites, Centotes, mayan ruins, etc great location. You can still walk to good restaurants in Tulum and ten minute bike ride to beach. There is really no public beach in Tulum and had much seaweed. Jaguar beach is US$20 per person entry fee. The Jaguar park beach is very nice and we did stop at Paraiso beach club which had nice facilities along with the very nice Jaguar park beach.

Mira (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay in Prana! From check-in through out the duration of my stay, they exceeded my expectation. The atmosphere is very chill and tranquil. The breakfast options were limited but no complaints, I enjoyed my fruit platter every morning after eating our hearts out with tacos every night. The location was perfect, two minutes away from Chedraui grocery store where we got our essentials. Everything was walkable in the area. They cleaned and tidied out our room everyday and the staff were very friendly especially Rosie and Miguel at the reception. They were very attentive of our needs and made our trip to Tulum exceptional. I would stay here again when I come back. I highly recommend Prana to anyone wanting to visit Tulum!

Richard (6/5): - The property is truly beautiful and very well maintained—our room was spotless and the overall environment felt peaceful and welcoming. That said, there were a few things that didn’t quite match what was advertised. For example, the website mentions partnerships with nearby beach clubs and on-site bike rentals, but when we asked the front desk, they seemed surprised by those claims and let us know those partnerships don’t exist. The hotel is also a bit farther from the beach than we expected, and it’s not the easiest walk or ride. The dining experience was hit or miss. While the menu had a decent variety, the food didn’t quite meet expectations and service could be slow at times. Still, the setting itself is lovely, and with a few updates and clearer communication, this could easily be a standout stay.

Alice (10/5): - I loved this hotel. I stayed in Villa 10 with a private patio and a plunge pool. The room was spacious, everything worked and having the private patio with the pool was so nice. One thing: if you’re going to get a room with a plunge pool, keep in mind that there are a lot of trees around and while the staff does its best to keep things clean, there will be leaves in the pool (including the big pool) especially when it gets windy. With all the greenery, keeping stuff out of the pool is an exercise in futility so it shouldn’t be something to complain about. The staff is so nice and whenever I needed something, it was done. The one thing I would change about the suite I was in: it would be nice to have a small table in the living area. There’s a stove and a fridge but nowhere to put food on. Same for the patio, a side table for the lounger would be nice. The breakfasts were great. I don’t understand the complaints about small portion sizes. Everything I had was more than enough. The rooftop bar is great at sunset and service is excellent. Same for the restaurant and the bar by the main pool. The reception and cleaning staff are great. I needed a relaxing vacation and this place delivered just that mostly thanks to the great staff. For the surrounding area, it was so nice to have a huge supermarket across the street and so many great restaurants walking distance. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe walking around.

A superstore is within a block of the hotel and we were able to stock the mini frig with cold drinks. Many food options within a few blocks. I would recommend this hotel and it was perfect for our needs.

Novina (8/5): - We stayed for 3 nights in March 2025. Our room with the jacuzzi/pool outside was nice. Our room pool outside can be cleaner. Also missing some crucial details you normally expect in a hotel room, a full length mirror is not found in the v room. There's no gym for this hotel which i know but i just asked for a yoga mat which seems like a normal thing most hotels provide they just straight out told me no. We had no water for 2-3 hours one afternoon and was not given notice. When we inquired they said they were doing maintenance and it would be back in 10-15 minutes. Fair enough. But we waited almost 3 hours, we just came from the ocean and early could use a shower. They were polite but didn't try to do anything to compensate. Overall it was OK for the price but i would not stay there again.

Our room was clean and beds were comfy. We only had one problem with the water leaking out of the shower area into the outside kitchen area, even with the door shut. Hopefully they fix the door to the shower so it doesn’t keep happening. Overall, a great stay

Food in restaurant for breakfast was below average; no seasoning, no flavor, not as fresh (stale bread). Rooftop pools were not well maintained - dirty. No lights to our room (Villa) and up steep stairs in back corner. Barking dogs in neighbours across road entire time we stayed day and night. Not in a good part of town at all. Do not recommend if you're going for a relaxing, immersive experience in culture and food. Far walks and drives to any good food spots or beach clubs. (20min )

Colleen (8/5): - Location is very walkable to the city amenities. Grounds are well kept. If you like a very hard bed, then this is the place for you. We really struggled with it. The villas are lovely and roomy… but the thatch roof is not sound proof at all and there’s a lot of traffic noise at night, barking dogs and music in the area into the night. Housekeeping missed our room one day, but overall were efficient. Fernando at the desk is fabulous, friendly and helpful.

Simon Shang En (6/5): - The Villas weren’t anything like the pictures showed. When we arrived, the rooftop tub looked directly into the hotel rooms and offered no privacy. It was dark, and not nearly as bright as the pictures show, it was right next to the road and was loud. We were “downgraded” upon request to a regular room, which was much nicer. A bit of a disappointment as we were looking forward to the soaker tub, but we had a view of the garden and the room was bright. The bed was very firm. Beware though, there’s no door to the bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cecilio (8/5): - On September I travel to Morelia to a boutique hotel and I love it and I was thinking that it’s going to be similar but not at all there’s no privacy at the bathroom no doors the tv it’s only decoration they don’t provide any chanel yes they provide breakfast but they give you a toast bread that I don’t know when they toasted horrible . I don’t think I’m going to stay again

NORBERT (4/5): NO CLASSIC STUDIO - Unfortunately we chose the studio and it was terrible. The room was super dark. Very small window but no view at all . the studio has a kitchen but has basically no kitchenware to use . We had to checkout the next day . The hotel has a beautiful roof top but just make not the get classic studio

Room was impressive... but the details were not. TP is on a shelf behind toilet, which is next to open air shower. If you put tp on ground it will get soaked. Shower had huge window opening to interior cortidor... tinted white & no curtain. The back of shower was a huge glass pane separating it from the bed. No cortains to c9ver wither, soguess what happens when the lights go out... corridor ligsts shine right on the bed. Bring black spraypaing if yoy stay here. Bonus... plumbing work on ubit below began at~3Am...KLONK.....KLONK....KLONK.ALl night. Therible. I deserve a full refund.

ALEX (4/5): - I am dual citizen Mexican/USA When I checked in I presented my Mexican Passport(to avoid tourist fees) When I took out both my Mexican passport and USA, I presented my Mexican passport as ID, the girl at the front desk insisted in using my American Passport( So that I get charged all the extra fees for being none-Mexican(which I should have not paid because I am a Mexican Citizen too). I was tired from a long flight I did not want to argue. At check-out I was told to pay for sheet(25usd) that got burnt while staying at hotel due to me having to Iron my clothes even though when I ask for an ironing board they did not provided one. Great location, however worst customer service ever would not recommend. Find something different nearby! They CHARGE 30 USD if you don't return your beach TOWEL! FYI!

Food was creative, over priced but good. Beautiful dishwater, nice table setting & served me folded paper towels for napkins.

Tim (10/5): - Staff was professional and facilities were very well kept. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
Shyann (4/5): - The hotel is still under construction so it’s noisy in the morning throughout the afternoon. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the rooms around you. As for the restaurant, the dinner was 4/10 and expensive and the breakfast ISN'T fully included. You get one thing from the menu and have to pay for everything else and beverages (not full meals). When my family and I came back from the beach, the hotel didn’t have power or water and they DID NOT notify us. We could not shower and the things we had in the fridge melted. On our last night they woke us up at 2am stating that we had to leave because of the noise when we were SLEEPING. When I questioned the front desk the next day they told me “wrong rooms”… lastly during checkout, if you have any stains on the towels they would either make you pay $30 or wait to see if housekeeping can take them out. They didn’t leave any water bottles in the room so thank god we bought our own anyways. The safe DOES NOT work no matter how many times maintenance came. And there aren’t any draws or closets in the room; nor a door for the bathroom so there’s no privacy.

kimberly (2/5): - Sad to say but we did not find the staff friendly at all. The first room we were put in had one window that looked to the inside hallway, and the other window had a privacy film on it so you could not see outside. It was a cell! They did change our room when I expressed my displeasure, however did not appear happy about it. The bathrooms have no door, and shower can be seen into the room. The restaurant was terrible! We had supper once, it was so bad, i do not have words. It was the worst very expensive meal I have ever had! If the breakfast was not included we would not have gone back at all. The positive was the grocery store across the road served amazing food. The location of the hotel was good. The lobby washroom was not nice, often very dirty. I would not recommend this hotel.

Karren (6/5): - Overall, the hotel is average. Pool is OK but not cleaned regularly (leaves and debris floating in it). Breakfast was included and pretty good although very small portions. Lunch and dinner in the onsite restaurant are very poor. Good location for in town hotel with everything walkable and having Chedraui across the road. Our oom (#1) was very dark to the point you couldn't read a book after dark.

Martha G (10/5): Cute boutique hotel with wonderful staff - The staff here is wonderful. Both gentlemen for check in and check out and my many inquiries in between were lovely, patient, and helpful. I enjoyed delicious chilaquiles for breakfast and the gentleman server was great. I only stayed one night on a stop before the journey to Bacalar, but plan to stay here again on the other end of this trip because it can’t be beat. So convenient to the rental car pick up and tons of restaurants around. The AC was good and strong and overall I highly recommend. Great value for the price.
Srisatish (8/5): - The cafe' is subpar. Transportation is very expensive.
Lacee (2/5): - When we arrived they told us we were upgraded, but it was a clear downgrade. I had booked the room with the outdoor hot tub. The room we got was next to the road, in an older building, and it had a net over the bed, with no hot tub. We told them we wanted our original room, we found out they overbooked it and none were available. They were apologetic tried to make up for it. It was a nice property but there’s better options nearby. I travel often and hate to write a bad review. If you do book this hotel, it’s probably better to book direct on their website.
Uzma (8/5): - It was a comfortable stay! The staff went over and beyond to meet my needs. The bathroom layout is a little strange, there was a bit of discomfort using the sink. Otherwise, beautiful hotel! LOVED their breakfast options. Thank You Prana!

Jennifer Sugey (10/5): - The property is nice and the staff was great. The rooms are set up kinda weird. The windows don’t open and they face towards the other rooms towards the middle of the building. So if you open any of your curtains, the other guests can see into your room and you can look into theirs. The only windows that face towards the street are frosted so you can’t see outside at all. It’s just a really bad building design. If you’re the kind of person that gets a bit claustrophobic this might not be a good hotel for you. Or see if there’s any way to get a room that faces away from the center of the building.
