The city was also an easy walk. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Some wifi issues when trying to stream to the TCV, and this was the only option. No microwave/food heating options.

• Avia (6/5): Disappointing - The bed was comfortable It’s not in the Valley it’s in Spring Hill, the room smelled musty, the aircon was set to 19, the toilet seat wasn’t properly attached, there was no chair in the room so I had to eat on the bed. I asked for a quiet room but it was next to the lift & when the people in the room next to me came in during the night it was so loud I thought they were in my room. The cafe was meant to open at 6.30am but wasn’t. An all round underwhelming experience.

• Hayden (8/5): Great place to stay, building is mostly clean and tasteful but starting to show signs of small maintenance issues. - It’s comfortable, easy check in and friendly staff. Close to city and valley. The first room we went into had signs of water damage (swollen doors) and strong smell of mould emanating from cupboard. Reported immediate to staff and were allocated another room without question which we were very grateful for.

I was really impressed with the staff - although we didn’t have much call for needing anything, the interactions we did have were great. Helped out with parking and let us know that we could get free street parking on weekends, allowed us to check in about 45 mins early, and when ordering a coffee after check out asked how my stay was and were generally friendly/caring. The rooms were well stocked and had everything we needed. For more than a 1 night stay rhe room would have been a bit small (no where to sit), and the lighting was poor (particularly for doing makeup).

• Nathan (9/5): A long term Sommelier of Brisbane notes... - I did not stay in the hotel overnight. I booked on behalf of a friend, for their Bday. I did however , check in , help settle in, and have a few drinks with my friend, before I departed. The staff were very nice and patient. The room was clean, elegant, appropriately appointed, and with an excellent mattress that I jumped on for at least 20 seconds. Thankyou. Jack. I I have no specific dislikes. The restaurant operation times should be made more clearly apparent. When the restaurant is not open, it appears to those not familiar with the venue, invisible or not related to the hotel. Keep the adjoining hotel and restaurant doors\walkway open and with good lighting. The staff should ask patrons if they would like to eat at the restaurant during their time with the hotel. >Receptions relevant info to follow;< .

• Rebecca (10/5): Perfect sleep in the City - Bed was great. Room was comfortable. Everything was clean and as expected. Reception staff were friendly. Parking onsite is available at an extra cost. Quick walk to the centre of Fortitude Valley. Would not hesitate to stay again.
• Jana (5/5): - The location was great and the bed was comfy. The Cafe in the hotel is handy. The room had a very strong perfum/aftershave smell to it. And the door to the little patio had no fly screen on it, so you couldn't leave the door open for some fresh air.

• Robert (9/5): Kann man nur empfehlen! - 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Bahn, die direkt zum Airport fährt. Hotel liegt in ruhiger Wohnlage in schickem Stadtteil. Innenstadt auch zu Fuß auf schönen Wegen recht schnell erreichbar. Frühstück in einem im Hotel liegenden Cafe war sehr gut. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Da fällt mir nichts ein.

• Keren (9/5): - Room was on the ground floor behind reception, so nice and easy to get too - No noise from morning breakfast coffee bar, so well insulated. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice welcome on arrival and was able to extend to late check out on Sunday easily - fantastic parking right under the hotel. All in all a very nice experience! No milk in the fridge for my morning coffee, which I had to go and ask for at front desk - not a big issue however, as soon as I asked for it the receptionist went and found some.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and kind. Parking on-site was great. Loved having a cafe in the lobby for easy morning coffee. We had coffee and breakfast (halloumi burger and egg & bacon roll), and were happy with both. Would definitely stay again. The room and balcony were quite small. The air con made a buzzing noise which was annoying. In room coffee machine would have been better, tea and coffee provided was pretty average.
