Sherri (10/5): - The stay was wonderful we have been there 3 times My problem only is when I came home chargers to my account we’re not mine Amout was over a 120 dollars and when I called was not explained and he could not get me off the phone quick enough and just wanted it explained to me, VERY UPSET please someone help me . It’s a shame I wanted to come for 50th wedding anniversary hope very much this can be resolved soon?????

Too little smoking areas. Too many kids in infinity pool even as late as 9pm. Sit down breakfast with wait staff would have been nice. No smoking on patios.

Tim (7/5): It was okay, not sure I would go back - The hotel was nice. It had everything that you could want at a hotel. The staff was not the friendliest. I needed a room with a walk in shower for a family member and they gave me a handicapped assessable tub. So I had to change the room and I had an upcharge because they did not have a room with two queen beds, so I got a king bed.

Eric (3/5): Another example of allowing a hotel to fall into disrepair, with minimal attention to customer experience. - Great location Wasn’t being maintained or cleaned (lots of mold, shower floor blackened with mildew and dirt, torn and stained curtains), and even when we pointed out empty shampoo / conditioner bottles in the shower, they were never refilled despite promising to correct the issue. Uncomfortable, broken-in mattresses.

Location was very good, in the summer time it must be a prime location The window in the room was very dirty which ruined the view a bit. TV in the room had burn-in from being at the same picture for a very long time.

Amenities were limited-had to ask daily for those little coffees pods. No room service, daily repair of TV, 1 of 2 elevators out of order, very limited lighting in room, no microwave, tiny fridge that wobbled, carpet needed replaced..felt cheap and neglected.

The first room we had had tearing in the curtains and blinds so we requested a new room which was better but had stains on the wall unfortunately. The hot tub and pool area also needed to be swept and mopped besides that it was an overall wonderful experience!! Definitely will be back!

Peter (6/5): Poor overall service - Poor communication, had to visit reception 3 times before I got out included breakfast vouchers, restaurant staff were poor, went to have a meal, host came to us after a few minutes, but when we asked to be seated outside was told she could not do that and we needed to wait for an outside host to see us….host did not go and tell the outside hosts we were waiting so waited for about 10 mins until host we had seen came back, and she said oh has no one seen you yet?, she then went and got an outside host…who then advised it would be over 40 mins for an outside table but could be seating inside, immediately? Which made no sense as it was not that busy, so we left and went to another nearby restaurant.

Michele (10/5): Great!!! - We camr into town for a family reunion. The stay was very nice and the hotel is great! The only complaint was thw lobby bathrrom had not toilet papaer or soap. But other than that, we will be back for sure! Beautiful views as well!
Mary (10/5): - If you like staying right on the water, this is the place for you. Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms and outdoor seating and fire tables. We were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony which made our stay even more enjoyable! The bar was nice, but had a very limited menu. I can’t say that I would recommend having lunch/dinner here, unless you prefer to stay at the hotel only. But, nevertheless, I would definitely stay here again.

T4107BMmaryw (8/5): The Great And The Could Be Better. Honest Review. - The Erie Marriottbayfront Bonvoy Hotel has stunning views of the lake. The grounds are beautiful and very park like with a promenade walkway that was exquisite. The landscape is coastal filled with lavender and soft lush pampas. Along with tons of Canadian geese basking in the sun very serene IF you wear earplugs. More to come..... Many areas to sit and take in the scenic lake A marina is close by and you will catch sailboats going out in the morning sun. A beautiful site. We booked a bay view, king, balcony room. The room was very clean and the balcony was worth every cent paid. It was a very large balcony with Adirondack chairs that you slide into due to the seat angle and can't get out of due to the very slippery "Trex" type weather resistant wood. A pain, but once seated you don't ever want to get up and leave anyway. Click to continue...There is some privacy but the side walls of each balcony could be a foot higher for perfection. But a minor detail. A joy to spend as much time as possible on the balcony. Early AM and Sunset was magical. The Shoreline Restaurant has a rather limited menu. We ate there 2 nights and our appetizers and meals were outstanding. The walleye served anyway you wish is a "must have". The shrimp/crab roll rivaled any lobster roll we have eaten in Nova Scotia. My husband said it was a "memorable" sandwich. Our server, a attentive and friendly. Now for the not so great....parking is very very limited for handicap. The parking garage if you have mobility issues is a bit of a distance. The garage is located across the way attached to another large building with an Oyster Bar and rooftop restaurant. Not worth 16.00 a day to walk even that distance for parking. But, there did not appear to be a lot of other choices especially if busy. The room was very very small. Almost claustrophobic due to the massive furniture. There is a sofa that needs not be in the room that must weigh a ton. 2 of us could hardly move it an inch to allow better flow of the AC air. It is painfully uncomfortable. Like the balcony chairs in order to put your back against the sofa back you have to slide back several feet into the sofa. A waste of space for an uncomfortable behemoth. A couple of comfy chairs and 1 more foot stool would do the trick. The wall facing the lake going to the balcony is all glass. This was the saving grace for feeling boxed into the small, over appointed room. Note: There is no microwave but we asked for one and it was promptly delivered. Housekeeping did not speak English and seemed to be at a loss the only time we interacted. The only issue for housekeeping was that the 2nd floor hallway had the same plastic wrappers laying in the same place for 3 days. Very visible as you had to walk by them to get to the elevators. Obviously it was not vacummed. That was a hard miss on the points scale. The music. The hotel has a Disclaimer on their website and they mean it. There are 2 restaurants with roof top open areas within very close proximity. The music is loud. It seems to start early am before 9 and ends after midnight. However it might be coming from the Marriott itself to add to the mix. You can lay in bed and lightly hear boom, boom. boom, of competing music all around. The 2nd night we ate at the hotel restaurant the lobby music filled every inch of the main floor and it was not pleasant to sit in the restaurant with that at dinner time. Turn it down 90% and play something softer. Not everyone is 25 and needs this type of environment. It seems like wherever you go on the property there is music. Loud music, competing music systems. Do not expect a serene quiet space. That it is not. It's tolerable but annoying. The hotel should consider there is noise they cannot control but they don't need to add to the mix with their own that can be heard inside and out All in all the glorious setting outweighed littered carpets, distant parking and the nonstop noise that is clearly forewarned before booking. We would not hesitate to recommend even with the few caveats as mentioned.

Derek (6/5): - **Good location and views, but overpriced for the experience** This hotel offers a clean, comfortable room with a beautiful bay view that was definitely a highlight of our stay. However, several issues detracted from the overall experience. The infinity pool was closed during our visit, and the indoor pool was disappointingly small. The north elevator was out of service, which created some inconvenience, and the Starbucks location appeared understaffed with longer wait times than expected. While the amenities were adequate and the location appealing, the hotel feels significantly overpriced for what you actually receive. It's a decent place to stay if you can get a good rate, but at full price, there are likely better value options in the area.

Our room had dry dog food stuck in the carpet, the windows were filthy and a cupboard door hanging off the hinge. Dog excrement in the corridor was disgusting. Given the cost to stay at this waterfront property we expected a much better experience. Disappointing stay.
Ellen (8/5): - Nice property, clean room very nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Only complaint would be paying 16.00 dollars a night to park in the outdoors parking lot and paid extra for a Bayview and window was filthy covered in bugs and spiders webs, so couldn't really enjoy the view.
Sady (8/5): I would come back as there are many positives, but probably won't get /a bay side room. - I liked the location on the bay and close to entertainment, the ambience/decorations of the lobby area, the restaurant and foods, our server for dinner, seating outside and fire pits. The front check in/out staff were nice. My window for our bay view was filled with bugs all over the outside. The frothing machine was broken in the coffee shop both mornings and the server there wasn't very friendly.
