Guest Reviews
- Susan (4/5): Won't be going back - No blanket on bed - it was cold!
Window left open, so there was cigarette smoke smell in the room when I arrived - from people smoking outside
Front desk didn't have the reservation even though I pre-paid. It got straightened out, but...
- SKRZYPCZAK (5/5): - I can't give a review because we had to cancel or stay
- Chris (7/5): -
- Susan (1/5): BAD! - Nothing The roomhadn't been cleaned in a long time, shower was filthy dirty soap still stuck to the side of the tub. They gave me a the key to an already occupied room YES! we opened the room door. Outside furniture was filthy and broken. Coffee and a donut is not breakfast.
- Darryl (8/5): We will be back - Clean and cheap I wouldn’t advertise breakfast
- Diane (9/5): -
- Holly (4/5): We’re not picky people, but these issues need to be addressed. - Location Very sparse amenities. No glasses, tissue toilet paper. shower was gross. Pillows were terrible.
- Barbara (1/5): - NOTHING! Owner was rude! Demanded to see service animal papers a d charged me for service animal. ILLEGAL! Yelled at me then accused me of "sneaking in third person" after I booked a room for 3. Power went out due to storm, needed power for medical equipment so left. On top of the stress of losing power for medical device, he added more stress by yelling in a threatening manner. Asked for full refund he refused. Was there less than 24 hours he charged us 3 days. Unbelievable how selfish and RUDE! See above
- Mathew (3/5): - It was in the town I needed The room wasn't clean toilet or shower both nasty
- Mark (10/5): Functional and nice. - They had breakfast? I just left to my destination. Nothing.
- Lea (8/5): - It was a nice room. It worked for what we needed. It was clean and it smelled clean. All staff was friendly and helpful. For the price it was great. Coffee and a doughnut in the morning too. We would stay again. (2 adults and an 8 y/o).
- Bill (7/5): -
- Alan (9/5): -
- Beth (8/5): - Our pillows smelled like they hadn’t been washed. Bed was comfy. Staff at the store was awesome
- Natalie (10/5): -
- myra (6/5): - Breakfast was a cup of coffee and a donut at the gas station. It was cleac and cheap.
- Bran (10/5): - Perfect location for our fishing needs.
- Christopher (8/5): - Was not very clean, someone left used towel on back of bathroom door, hair and dust on back of floor also?
- Tonya (8/5): - Nice property for the price and location.
- Andrew (10/5): - Clean and pet friendly
- Lelsie (8/5): - The staff was great. The owner was not so great. Charged me 40 a night for 2 dogs. It's not like we were staying in the Ramada. We were in the country. 12 rooms. I did love that. Just walk outside. Very peaceful. I stayed 7 nights. He did not give me a break on the dogs. Like really. He even said one day he would help me out. Only charge 10 for both dogs . When that time came, he told his staff . She has to pay full price. He was not a nice person. His staff was awesome. I did Not like the owner. Money hungry foreigner!!!
- Moshe (7/5): OK prepaid for 2 nights only staying 1 - Location
- Leslie (8/5): Dog friendly but will rack it to you! - The beginning of the stay was great. The girls at the station were great. Then all of a sudden I got a knock on the door. They want to charge me 20 a dog. What??? What was I to do I was already here. Hotels.com new I had dogs. Noone said anything about 20 a dog so 200.00 for 5 days on top of the 374.00. I needed 2 more days. They wanted that 80 for the dogs. So I was very disappointed after that.
- Mark (8/5): UTV trip - The shower pressure was awesome 😎 but in the morning there were black bugs on the bathroom floor the beds one was made good the other looked like it was just pulled up. It a place to just sleep.
- Ann (2/5): - If i could give it no stars I would. I booked the reservation online before i arrived. Upon arrival i was given a key. Went into the 1st room, the bathroom light didnt work nore did the fridge. I looked at 3 other rooms. All the beds had stains, and the sheets were dirty with hair and odd other stuff. Online it does say you can get a refund but that isnt true. I left and got a difference hotel for the same price where they let me check the room before i paid for it. If you are looking for a place to stay go somewhere else.
- Kathleen (1/5): Not going back. - Clean, cheap The carpet was soaked making the room very humid. Everything felt wet. Going from the wet carpet to the bathroom I slipped and fell. Told staff, they didn’t care. Said previous customer told them it was wet. They opened the door to dry it. The second day you could smell the mold.
- Kathleen (10/5): - A good choice for thrifty travelers. The rooms are not fancy, but and clean.
- Hitchcock (4/5): ExxonMobil Stop n Go - Clean towels n bedding. Patched holes n the wall. Carpet should be cleaned.
- JOHN (6/5): Acceptable bargain - This motel is fine for a guy on hunting trip like me. It's not where I'd go for a romantic getaway with my wife! The strong smell of cleaner made me sneeze. All in all, an ok place to stay.
- James (2/5): I would never stay in this pigsty again! - I have never stayed in a hotel as dirty as this one!; blanket had food stains , tv remote did not work; paint pealing., plumbing noisy; etc. Complimentary breakfast was a cup of coffee and a doughnut!
- John (10/5): - Place to rest for the night. Cleanliness is basic dead bugs and cob webs on window sill’s. If you want xtra towels or anything ask right at check in.
- Eugene (7/5): -
- Khitsun (1/5): The worst place I booked in years - Dirty bathroom, bathtub and room, dirty towels, trash on the floor. The air conditioner didn't work in the first room, so I had to change rooms after settling in. Dirty fridge, also falling over since its moorings were not attached.. Lights worked intermittently, electrical sockets worn out and not holding plugs. Taps about to break off, hard to handle without breaking. The reservation promised breakfast to be included, which is outright lie: this place didn't even have a coffee maker, and I had to buy a tea bag at the gas station.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very obvious property owner/caretaker isn't willing to invest in simple improvements like a replacing the toilet seat that is worn to bare wood, fixing the slow drains or providing a box of tissue for guests. Bed mattress was comfortable, had use pillows from other bed as they were so flat. Location was convenient.
- Lucia (5/5): Passable - Breakfast was coffee and a stale donut. Room was clean but outdated. Check in staff was very friendly, morning staff abrupt. I wouldn't call that a breakfast. Breakfast, had to air out the room
- Brigette (10/5): Perfect for what we needed. Nice location, quiet, clean. Parking lot Taco Truck-AWESOME! - N/A there weren't many channels on tv but it was fine enough
- Terra (6/5): Pleasant -
- Linford (10/5): - Nice room that was very clean.
- Nate (10/5): Exceptional - This place made my trip! I love the cozy feel of it
- Georgia (10/5): - No problems. Satisfactory
- Budan (8/5): Very good -
- John (1/5): Nasty dirty gross no continental breakfast like described - Close to the Hwy Dead bugs on shower curtain. Dirty bedding and room smelled horrible like stale beer and cigarette smoke.
- Mike (1/5): Bad -
- Patricia (10/5): Excellent - Nice location and nice room.
Free small coffee and a donut in the morning.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly J (6/5): Dive - Sorry Q tip behind toilet. Dirty towel hanging on hook. needs updating.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Location is convenient. Facility has had no updates. Stained linens. Flat/sad pillows.
- Moore (8/5): Very good - The price was great. Location was great Took time for the hot water to get to my room. There was no kleenex to blow my nose, most rooms I have had in the past at different places had that
- Joe (2/5): Not a fan for the 14 hour stay... - The refrigerator worked...thank you. Check-in lasted too long, waiting between C-store customers, as only one employee working. I had a reservation, yet the employee wanted my driver's license and CC and wrote down both card information (which I did not appreciate). No washcloths, no tissues, no coffee, and no ice, unless you wanted to buy a bag of ice.
- Trudy (6/5): Plain - Very plain room . Clean other than a couple of spiders
- Amanda (5/5): Passable -
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Good stay! The room was clean and warm
- Yves (3/5): Needed to sleep and no choice where i was . Staff nice. Dated.... and dated ...minimum . Not worth -
- Jeff (6/5): - A
- William (7/5): Good -
- William (7/5): Good night sleep. -
- Amy (6/5): - I didnt care for the bathroom with the tub being so damaged n stained with black. So i didnt use the shower there. Made me nervous. The blanket on top of the sheets under the comforter was full of pubic hair and other hair. At breakfast because we were 1 minute late on their clock we didnt get our cup of coffee or donut so had to pay. I think if your going to spackle holes in the walls than you should cover with paint. Was only given a 1/2 of a roll of toilet paper and no other to replace.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cindy (7/5): Good -
- John (8/5): - So far the WIFI is good
- Sigurd (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sarah (8/5): - Thankful they have a place to stay in that area
- David (7/5): Good - With advertised breakfast, I expected a little more. Coffee was good, but the choice of donuts was very limited.
- Jo Ann (8/5): - Was ok. Was late checkin so not sure on anything else. Shower facet was leaking. Could use a few more plugins but a older building so it’s understandable. Good enough for a one night stay.
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - It is in the perfect location for us and for the price the rooms are great and the owners are always super nice
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was a free donut and coffee at the gas station store. My friend and I really enjoyed the "throwback" adventure. When you get there, you check in at the gas station to pick up you room key. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and only one other room was occupied while we were there. The room was clean and quiet. The motel was freshly painted and we really had a fun adventure. I would recommend it. The out of the way location gave a sketchy vibe but it was fine.
- John (1/5): We couldn't watch our favorite show because we had NO TELEVISION. I feel we shouldn't have to go som - It was okay.
Better than nothing at all. NO TV AT ALL!
Carpet wasn't vacuumed. We found a bugle by the bed
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Eagen (5/5): I got what I expected. I shopped for low price. If my wife had been traveling with wouldn’t i - Stained sheets- slept on the other side of the bed. Musty odor. Toilet rocked. Clean sheets.
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Aurora (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Cleotha (1/5): Horrible room, horrible service, never ever again. - Location was close to destination. The room was damp (close to wet) and smells strongly of mildew. Several guests were sitting out front and told us they were outside because of the smell. Unplugged fridge smelled of death, very dirty tub, toothpaste spots all over bathroom mirror, very dirty floors, dust on every surface, sheets were dirty with hair in them. Slept on top of bedding and used the clean but stained towels for a barrier. Left 1 night into a 2 night stay because it was that unbearable
- Susanne (5/5): Passable -
- Joseph (4/5): - I had to keep telling myself that I have stayed at worse, but the smell was awful. At first when we got here, the smell was so overpowering of chemicals and air freshener smell that I could taste it. When we returned to our hotel later, it smelled like someone was smoking cigarettes one after another throughout the night. I woke up at 3:30am to get some fresh air and considered sleeping in my car. Also, one of the mattresses in our room was unbelievably hard, so we switched to the other bed in our room, which thankfully was slightly better, but then one of us had to be in front of the air conditioner, which I believe is where the cigarette smoke musty smell was coming from. Breathing that in all night was making me anxious, so I got maybe a couple hours of sleep. I’m also glad that I had beach towels with to cover the pillows because they were so old and clumpy that I was nervous to put my face on them. All in all, I gave this place a 2 because, like I said, I have stayed at worse places. They also accept pets which was something a lot of places in the area did not allow and we were close to family that we were visiting.
- Paula (5/5): Passable - It was simple check in they knew we were coming. The beds were VERY FIRM
- Terry (8/5): - I needed a place in this area to vist reletives. It was quite clean and comfterable. No pool or hot tub but it was cheap. The important qualitys were covered at a resonable price
- Beaumont (6/5): Pleasant - Convenient location. Great value. The rooms could use a Lil update
- Renee (1/5): Would not go back - There was no breakfast. No coffee maker in room. They advertise with TV. There was a TV but no signal or service to watch the TV. That was one reason we chose this motel. Staff did not seem to care that e TV didn’t work and offered NOTHING because it did not.
- Kenneth (2/5): - I didn’t stay as they didn’t have a working television.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): - It is just fine for a hunting trip with the guys.
- damon (10/5): - Nice area, quiet stay, friendly staff
- cvrystal (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay and very price friendly. Thanks!
- Rodger (5/5): Passable -
- Jolene (4/5): Would not go back - No hair dryers no Kleenex
- Misty (4/5): Disappointing - Close to our destination and on bottom floor Bathtub dirty. No coffee pot n station didn't have coffee lil before 10pm n wasn't willing to make any
- Anonymous (5/5): close to event; good price needs updates - location-near to event; parking in front of room entrance; toilet not handicap accessible-very low; light by bed switch broken off; no ice available; room needed to be aired out; website says free breakfast nothing offered or even mentioned; when called because tv said no signal person who came not friendly; no phone in room even though advertised.
- Fredrick (10/5): - The check in person was friendly, the room was spotless and in great condition. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a place to stay while traveling through.
- David (6/5): - It was only for sleeping while 4 wheeling up north.
- Brenda L. (8/5): - This motel is great for a simple overnight or to stay while checking out all of the beautiful water falls in the area. The staff were fantastic and readily available to assist. It is an older style motel and being so, is somewhat outdated. It is very clean. It is very close to Dave's Falls and the downtown. I would stay here again.
- Syvanna (8/5): Very good -
- Cory (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nichole (2/5): - They gave away our room so after driving 4.5 hrs there was nothing else available either BC of the air show
- Ali (10/5): - Very nice and accommodating owners. Clean facilities and room.
- Susan (4/5): - It needs more safe outlets. Need decent pillows. This room had an unpleasant smell.
