Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (7/5): Leisure Inn is a fairly clean hotel in a cute town - The property is right near the lake and easy walking distance to the restaurant in the town. The hotel is dated and provides small, old towels and low quality toiletries. The shower head is quite low - not good for guests who are taller than 5’8”. The door to the room is difficult to open with the key. The innkeeper is very friendly but the office is only open when he’s expecting a new arrival so you can’t use the communal space or borrow a DVD after you’ve checked in.
The breakfast has various store bought types of bread that you can toast and add jam or peanut butter. There’s a variety of cereal and yogurt cups. There is usually one fruit available (banana or apple) and coffee or tea. Not much variety for someone with a dietary restriction.

- Andreas (8/5): - Schöne Zimmer, gepflegtes Haus. Im Zimmer Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Jeden Tag Zimmerservice und frische Handtücher
Frühstück einfach, aber ausreichend. Wurst und Käse könnten noch da sein. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber
- Vicki (8/5): - Very accommodating, Very friendly & helpful Room was a little chilly
- Christian (8/5): Bel endroit calme avec déjeuner inclus - Bel accueil, personnel courtois, endroit bien entretenu et propre

- Margaret (6/5): This is a dated motel but clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a TV with DVD player and an extensive selection - The location of this motel is great for our long trips north to Iroquois Falls and I imagine I would be a beautiful, less expensive place to stay in the summer due to it’s proximity to the lakeside park and its patio. The restaurant Whiskey Jacks, a block away, is a great place for dinner.

- Dmitry (9/5): -
- Ron (8/5): very nice stay and great location - excellent
- Felix (5/5): Mediocre - Decent location Poor Television package. Mostly adds
I found it expensive for what you get. Poor value.
- Wayne (5/5): Not the same - The hotel is well located in Haileybury. It is nice to be able to park right in front of our unit. We have stayed at the Leisure Inn several times in the past. However, the property now has new owners and it isn't the same. The bedding does not fit the bed properly and I woke up several times wrapped in the bottom fitted sheet. Small things make a difference .... one-ply toilet paper, no Kleenex, poorly fitting curtains, flimsy towel with hair embedded in the fibres, etc. The owner became quite irate when we asked for something. It was also quite expensive.
Dommage.

Having available ice, would be great

- Michelle (10/5): You’ll feel instantly at home - The owner is charming, engaging, and instantly made us feel at home and welcome! If we are ever in this area again, we will absolutely be staying here again.
- Margaret (4/5): A fair experience - There was nothing hot for breakfast which was very poor for the cost of the stay Towels would be nice if they were white. Room could be bigger to contain 2 beds. Office did not answer phone to make reservation. On line booking said checkin would be 3 but it was not until 4 when we got therr

- Herman (3/5): -
- Rosanna (7/5): - Clean quiet Not much nearby interns of restaurants other than going back to new Liskeard.
Outside door very difficult to unlock!
- Melissa (8/5): - The location was great. We came here to visit a family member. It's not a bad place for what you pay for. Breakfast was good if you want something quick and easy. I would definitely rent a room here again. Our DVD player wasn't working but not the end of the world. There isn't much to do here in Haileybury I'm guessing maybe because it was November when we came so idk. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

- Jocelynn (10/5): The man at the reception was so friendly! - Great location. Close to the restaurant, corner store, etc. Loved the breakfast area, it was very cozy. Everything was great.

- Masoud (Mike) (2/5): NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. - Regrettably NO Room Service was provided to us during our stay for 3 nights in 2 rooms..!!! The Beds are not even comfortable. We caught spiders inside the bathrooms. No hand soap provided to us for 3 nights. Had to Ask for hot water to make our own tea and coffee for breakfast. Our friends got so sick. The Breakfast was perfect in the past when Jeremie and Ernie harman were in charge of Leisure inn, but it's not favourable at this time! No Room Service was even provided to us during our stay for 3 nights during "Thanksgiving". They charged us extra for bed and guest $15 per night. The price was also jacked up by the new staff. We spent lots of money on this "Leisure inn" which was not worth at all. No Cleaners at the site! NEVER will return to this place again!!!

- SIMEONI (8/5): - Location by the water. Lots of room in the parking lot. Liquor store across the street. Some restaurants nearby but after the school year starts you really have to look to see what's open during the week! Rooms haven't really changed over the years and probably could use an update. Haileybury really doesn't have all the attractions and amenities that you might expect. You really need to go to New Liskeard for better eatery selections. Other than a few restaurants in the area operating hours do vary.
Breakfast is limited to dried cereals, coffee, toast and yogurt selections. No prepared warm foods such as scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon. There's a Country Style about a 2 minute drive towards Cobalt.

- Lynn (10/5): Our new go to. 😀 - We love the location. The place is surrounded by beauty. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. This is our 3rd stay inside of a year, and we will be back
- Mark (8/5): - Did not eat breakfast. Bath towels were a little small.
- Greg (6/5): -
- Behzad (1/5): It wasn’t clean - Location It wasn’t clean
- Denise (1/5): - I have stayed at the Inn before. Friendly staff and very helpful. The Inn was sold this year and things are very different. There has been no updates done. The beds are the most uncomfortable ones I have ever slept in. I assume the owner was the one who checked us in and he was very abrupt. Paper in the room said the sold chips and drinks at the desk and I was told to go to convenience store to get them. Breakfast items like juice are not replenished. Overall very bad experience. Will never stay there again and definitely will not recommend it.
- Christine (4/5): I left early rather than spend another night. - Close to waterfront Very run down. Smelly. Needs new mattress for the beds. Needs help
- Gloria (7/5): -
- Brittany (10/5): The guy at the front desk was amazing. We didn’t end up coming til about 5-6 at night and he was still there waiting for - The guy was very understanding of us having a big truck and a boat to where we can park!
- Diane (8/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Lee (5/5): -
- Darren (8/5): -
- Lori (10/5): - Clean and friendly. Breakfast was lacking variety
- Trevor (6/5): It suited us for the night - It's a motel and meet our expectations.

- Jennifer (6/5): - Location, fridge and microwave Outdated, Small beds, tiny bathroom, dirty carpets
- Felix Schneider (7/5): - Grosses Zimmer, gute Lage, soweit sauber, modernes Bad.
- Melissa (8/5): Outdated but clean. - Clean.
Lots of games.
Close to beach. Decoration and colours need an update.
Breakfast was too basic (bananas and bread and cereals) Hours were too short 7-9am should be until 10am.
- Henry (6/5): -
- Alastair (6/5): Mediocre at best - Location Two beds in room that was clearly meant for one bed. Breakfast was mediocre and owners had issue with taking breakfast items on to patio. TV instructions were unclear and tv channels available were strictly limited.
- Hildebrandt (8/5): -
- ROBERT (1/5): Very strong urine smell in the bathroom bed and pillow needs to be upgraded uncomfortable just gross - Location and air conditioning. Our room wasn’t clean the bathroom had a strong odour of urine even worse than a public bathroom. You could see the spray marks of urine. The whole floor was sticky when walking around the suite just gross. The shower suction mat, was made out of a white foamy material. It was like a sponge was wet. It was no longer white. It had other people‘s body dirt on it. Just imagine if somebody urinate in the shower this bathmat which is soaked it up dingy the bed was rock hard looks like it’s from the 60s or 70s. They put a camping foam on top to try to hide the fact in a bedbug mattress cover wrap my hips were so sore the next morning, but at least they added it cheap foam where I would have not survived the night. The experience was so bad in the bathroom. We didn’t even take a shower we just washed ourselves, military style, baby wipes. I took my shoes off and walked around with my socks was a mistake on the carpet my socks picked up whatever was in the carpet just gross. I don’t know if they need a new vacuum or a new person to clean the room. The pillows were super thin, unbelievably thin, very uncomfortable. I had to use all of them just to get through the night. The pillowcases looked very worn. The duvet cover felt dusty and dirty, I guess they’re worried more about the money than comfort just order proper beds on Costco. I hope I didn’t bring back any bedbugs. I like the location and the air conditioning, but that’s it.

- Lori (7/5): -
- Benoit (10/5): -
- Kevin (1/5): If you always wanted to experience a homeless shelter for a night or two. - Location Only other guest was a homeless man with almost no clothes on.

- Peter (8/5): - Wifi was out for entire night but not the fault of the Leisure Inn Room decor

- Megan (10/5): - Great location, quiet, staff are friendly
- Jamie (5/5): The rooms are dated, very small but clean. Nothing has been kept up. The breakfast was minimal. Not worth the price. - The property was close to our outing. The staff were very rude and unwelcoming. The rooms advertised queen bed and they were only doubles. Over priced because they can, only motel in the area.
- Chad (7/5): -
- Swazzz1 (8/5): Short and sweet stay - No frills motel with a new owner who was very accommodating of our late check in request. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was functional. Some fruit at breakfast would be nice. Acceptance of AMEX would be helpful.
- Felicia (8/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Lovely place. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The couple who own the hotel are lovely, friendly, and very helpful.
- Sinclair (8/5): - Friendly staff Hotel is dated and free breakfast was just cereal and toast
- STEVEN (7/5): -
