Guest Reviews
- attyleab (2/5): Worst hotel - The worst hotel I've ever stayed in Batam.
Dirty, noisy room not cleaned by housekeeping.
Bed was gard as rock, staff totally not friendly at all.
Not much food around the area.
Aircon was not cold at all.
Bad hospitality.
Will never recommend to friends nor family.
- Irawati (8/5): Great stay. - Old furniture but spacious room. lots of stall behind the hotel. quite near to Nagoya mall.
There's indomart and a few stall at the back.
- Maps53433194533 (4/5): Impossible rest - From 4 am noises, chats and laughter begin from the other rooms.
The volume increases as the minutes go by until it becomes unbearable.
people walking back and forth in the corridors, in front of the rooms, and it seems like they want to sleep inside a market, with shouts, laughter and the noise of furniture being moved: impossible to sleep
- djkal89 (8/5): Awesome room .. awesome staff .. total value for money. Its a must try - Great hotel to be honest. From Ever ready front of house staff to assist you in all your needs. Do not judge the outer look of the building, the interior is totally different. I believe the rooms are newly refurbished.
Came over to selebrate New Years day with my wife, and both of us were amazed with the room. Booked the presidential suite and it was amazing for 2 nights super spacious.
Will definitely recommend this room as it's value for money. Location is awesome too, just a stone throw away from nagoya hill mall.
Will definitely come back again .
Ps. Breakfast could be much more better in terms of the items available. Some western would be good.
See you soon The K hotel . . Thumbs up.
- YAHAYA (8/5): SPA - Location good but most the facility quite old except SPA very very marvellous
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Aircon was not working and the hotel refused to compensate. We had to stay in friend room and leave the room uninhabitable. When one of the room’s card access was misplaced, the hotel had the Cheek to ask for sgd10 compensation. This shows that the hotel does not value it’s customers and you should avoid booking this property at all cost or face the same fate!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Noisy at night, people talking so loud along the corridor can b heard.
- wyn06 (8/5): Hotel is simple - The hotel staff are responsive. I do not have to wait for service. And they are attentive.
However room is huge. Do not like the view as i am facing a roof and half a view of the next builiding.
Breakfast was simple but savouring. Price was super inexpensive so what can you ask for. Room has standing shower for standard room.
You will hear music from your rolm as the hotel is facing a KTV. But didnt bother me much.
Thats all.
- Christopher (8/5): Nice and comfortable stay - It was a pleasant stay with excellent front office staff assisting in our requests, for example, air freshener due to the strong smell of cigarettes smoke. Location of the hotel is also good as it is near some heartlands shops and eateries and the Nagoya Shopping Mall so near. Breakfast was very good with variety for the hotel charges we paid.
- chan (8/5): - the back lanes behind a little difficult to move around due to heavy traffic from both sides.
otherwise is value for money for such a location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good stay... - Check-in was fast, deposit fee Rp200,000 required.
Room was clean, pillows were a little worn out. No in room safe.
Location is great, many eateries around but noisy motorbikes passing through alleys can be heard in the room, even at 2am..
Overall everything else is OK. Check out took less than a minute, returned my deposit without further questions.
I'll definitely come back to stay here...
- Moza (10/5): - Pleasant stay...5-7 mins walk to Nagoya mall.depends how fast u walk.😊.Friendly staff,yummy breakfast,no 1 cleaner ,reception people welcome you with sweet smile.that's enough.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property needs to upkeep itself properly . The staff is helpful but the business could do well with better maintenance. There were mosquitoes in the room , which are strictly avoidable
- MOHAMED (10/5): Good Service - The hotel provide me with what i need for my stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty Linens & Room - Room was filthy dirty and so are the linens. Only gd location with lots of eateries.
- AZMAN (6/5): Seruni hotel - Hotel location is good 5 to 10min walking distance to nagoya mall..no fridge in room..staff was friendly..breakfast need to upgrade..overall is ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice - Nice and friendly, but got smoke smell along the corridor and some room.
- Ravindran (6/5): Terrible - When I check in quite disappointed. The reception staff should check the guest room or what room they booked . When I go in the room is small but I booked for deluxe room later they call me said is wrong room so I need to go down Recepetion. Again they give another room which can't open the door so I need to go down reception again . This not my work to go up and down check the room . The hotel staff should prepare what they surpose to give to guest . The next day breakfast time when I came there is no bread at all and they say finish , how it can be ? The mee hoon is very salty . So I drink black coffee only . This is terrible breakfast. The hotel should improved and the staff need training . Thank you
- Verified traveler (4/5): Value for money hotel - The Aircon makes noise thru out when it is on. It also leaked water ( which the hotel electrician fixed ). Rooms not sound proof. H Nice friendly staff but have problem with interaction in English.
It is my 3rd stay here. Certainly value for money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The deluxe room is well done up. It wasa good value for money deal . however AC makes a lot of noise. The plug points are few and difficult to use for the coffee maker.
- wandysam65 (10/5): Shopping cum massage - Very good hotel and location nearby Nagoya shopping center not to worried sicknesss beside the hotel is hospital, atm and minimart, friendly staff, good wifi..theres also karaoke and happy hour...love it..pretty girls...wow i love batam..!!!
- LIM (10/5): AN EXCELLENT HOTEL - It was simple hotel and our stay here was pleasant. The location was very ideal as it was just a walk away to Nagoya Hill. Front desk service was excellent. Value for money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Cannot except that my confirmed booking was canceled as the hotel claim that they are full at check in.
After insist that they must honor my booking or get me another hotel, finally they gave me the room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Scope for improvement. - The hotel seems to be in the midst of renovation. Elevator did not function for half of the timee everyday all thru my 4 days stay.
Carpets in lobby ( 3rd floor) were undergoing some kind of maintenance. Staff was helpful . no hot water in shower for last 2 days of stay.
- JAMBARI (8/5): Convenient & clean - Near Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall many eateries near hotel
- Moko589 (6/5): Old but satisfied - Old building but nice, comfort and clean room. Helpful and smiling staff, good services.
Walking distance to nagoya hill, hotel location near by the local store food. Just not satisfied with the local drive taxi. For the first time backpacker, better get more information in front desk.
- jourykim (8/5): Old but clean hotel near Nagoya Hill (Batam) - I was very surprised upon check-in as the hotel is really nice and front desk staff are very helpful and courteous. Hotel is walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall and near hotel are plenty of local eateries. Room size is good, with high ceiling too. Clean bathroom, bedsheets and drinking water provided daily (2 bottles). Breakfast is just ok, but enough to get by for the day. Will stay here again if visit Batam in the future.
- BCChua (4/5): Old but still value for money - This hotel is old and probably suitable for a 1 or 2 nights stay. Don't expect too much for the price that you are paying for.Nagoya Hills Shopping Mall is quite near, take about 10-15min walk. There is a Sphinx Disco and KTV which is linked to the hotel. Hotel also had in house massage.
Room is ok with wifi in room (quite weak and depending how near you are to the wireless router)) Stay for a few times and never failed to see a few small cockroaches (but then again, I had seen them in other more expensive hotels in batam). If you are mortally afraid of them, don't choose this hotel for sure.
Breakfast is simple.
- havegutwilltravel (6/5): only hotel giving free complimentary massage - good service, smiling staffs, quite surrounding, good entertainment at night and near to city attraction are things you can see when check in at seruni hotel batam, indonesia. Adding to this scenarios all check in customers are given free complimentary massages by the management. The massages are damn good compared to other massage parlours in nagoya city.
- AnthonyDass12345 (4/5): Poor Room Standards - I booked this hotel through Hotels.com for a 4D3N stay. The staff were friendly & helpful. The size of the room was ok. As the room was for twin sharing, there was only 1 packet of coffee sachet. The cups were dirty & stained. The worst part of the room was the stinking toilet and the constant leak of water from the toilet cistern. I informed the HSK staff on day 1 but nothing was done. The aircon was not cool and the fancoil was very noisy and we could not get a good sleep. Again I informed the staff and nothing was done until the day I checked out. The bathroom was infested with baby cockcroaches that you will find them all over your toothbrush in the morning. The towels were filthy that we immediately went to the shopping centre to buy our own towels. We also found some baby cockcroaches crawling under the bed. We requested for a hair dryer but it never came. We went to the Front Desk and was told the hotel had only 1 hair dryer that was used by a guest!!
Upon check in, we had to leave our PP with the Front Desk. We were able to use the Safe Box to keep our other documents. We requested to have our PP to keep in the Safe Box. We were shocked that we had to place a deposit of Rp 500,000 per DAY for keeping our PP!!!
The breakfast was so pathetic. Remember that what you see on line is not what you will get.
The hotel will charge you 55,000 Rp for a taxi trip to Batam Centre. I walked out and found a taxi for only 20,000 Rp. This will be my first & last time that we will stay in this hotel.
