- Leah (10/5): - Beautifully decorated and clean, nice family running the guest house
- Xiang (10/5): Exceptional - This accommodation was truly amazing. The place we stayed in was right next to the square and inside the scenic area, which made it extremely convenient for us to go sightseeing. The house had a unique charm. It was a traditional old house, and staying in it gave us a wonderful feeling. The hot water took a bit longer to come out, but considering it was such a historic house, it was acceptable. Finally, I want to say that the boss is really kind. He upgraded our room for free and also gave us a great deal of help when we were trying to locate the taxi we hailed. We left the hotel very early , and ordering a taxi in advance before the hotel entrance was closed. Once after 7 a.m, the roads inside the scenic area will be closed, and it will be more troublesome to carry our luggage around.

- I-ting (10/5): Exceptional - The guesthouse is in a perfect location, close to the Nyatapola Temple. You can spend extra time visiting Bhaktapur old town at night or early in the morning. The guesthouse staff were really friendly and flexible. In the morning, heavy rain struck, so we moved from the rooftop to our room to have breakfast. The breakfast was simple but really tasty. The room was spacious and had a traditional wood-carved window, which provided a nice atmosphere. Through the window, the view of the surrounding street felt authentic. We really enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse! Unstable hot water for shower in the night
- Hilary (9/5): Home from home !! - Staying at The Sunny Guest house was like joining the family in their home. It was very quiet when I was there and the family went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Breakfast on the roof was really special with views of the mountains in one direction and the lovely square in the other. The location was great too as you could easily pop back during the day for a break before heading out again to enjoy the delights of Bhaktapur. The electric blanket was a nice touch as it did get quite cold in the evening.
- John (10/5): Best Nepal experience we had - Location, ambience, breakfast, views, staff, antique furniture Can’t think of anything
- Celia (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent vacation very close to Durbar square and the sites of Bhaktapur. A lovely rooftop for sitting and catching a sunrise view of the Himalayas. The room was spacious, very clean, and quite comfortable. The proprietors were welcoming and kind and the guesthouse is full of exquisite carvings done by the patriarch of the family. Overall an outstanding find and we would definitely stay again!

- Ros (10/5): Spectacular mountain views, comfort and kindness in a fabulous location. - An outstanding place to stay! The rooftop has extraordinary views of the mountains and is filled with sunshine. Keepa and her son are kind, generous and helpful hosts. They upgraded my room and helped with practical issues like transport and laundry. Nothing was too much trouble and Keepa was delightful to talk to. I felt like family. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on in Nepal! The location is fantastic. I loved everything.
- Kay (8/5): Very good - Very friendly en helpful people. We had some pleasant conversations.
- Antonino (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the structure is the best you can have in Bahaktapur: from the window of your room you can wake up blissfully looking at the splendid Nyatapola temple at close range, the most impressive and scenic in the city, and enjoy all its beauty even on the sunny terrace of this beautiful guest house! I also point out the extreme kindness, the elegance of the kind and professional ways of Mr. Aayam Prajpati, attentive to every little detail so that your stay in Bahaktapur can go in the best possible way. I recommend it, absolutely!
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Besutiful decorated and furnished rooms in traditional style with wooden furnitures, sculptures - all made by hand and kept in nature , simple coloures.
The host was very kind and helpt us in any ways. The service was excellent!
The hotel is located very central and very close to monuments and a beautiful square.
Nice rooftop to enjoy the sun and the breakfast.
Would love to visit again!

- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Good breakfast on the roof, very nice family run guesthouse right by the main square. Lots of very beautiful wood sculptures around the house.
- Ingrid (9/5): Superb - It was everything and more. Location was prefect, just 2 seconds from Taumadhi Square and 5 from Durbar Square. It's quite, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Owner is very helpful. Nothing
- Jorge (10/5): Familiar and cosy guess house in Bakthapur - Everything!
The hotel is small but cosy and details are brought to a level much higher than the price payed. Breakfast is simple and delicious. And the family running the place is lovely and helpful.
From the rooftop you have an amazing sunset.
And it is located next to the most important square in Bakthapur Nothing
- Pascal (6/5): Pleasant guest house, small, with nice owner, courtyard to park car, close to centre. - good location, nice owner, good value for money Small guest house, limited facilities, not the best view except on roof top.
- Joanne (9/5): A great place to stay right in the heart of town. - A great location, lovely room and friendly attentive staff. Roof top breakfast with wonderful views

- Laurent (10/5): Népal hospitality at its best ! - amazing view, superb room, best reception and service . you are not a guest but a VIP ! 👍👍👍 to leave !
- Scott (10/5): Wonderful hotel right next to Taumadhi Square - This was my 7th stay at the Sunny Guest House in Bhaktapur. The staff has always been amazing. Very attentive. Nice sized rooms. Very clean. Hot water. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Kathmandu.
- Mrs S A (10/5): Friendly family run hotel in great location - The Sunny guest house was a good choice in a great location and we were surprised to find we were the only guests. Large nicely decorated room as per photos. Large clean bathroom. We initially had a problem with hot water, but this was quickly fixed and we had a nice warm shower. It was the end of November and while the room was slightly chilly, there were electric blankets on the bed so we were warm at night. Lovely breakfast served on the rooftop terrace with great views of the nearby pagoda and the Himalayas in the distance.
- Ewan (10/5): Arrive in Nepal and relax - This was the best start to our stay in Nepal. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms with plenty local character, and a great place to relax back and absorb the sights and sounds of Bhaktapur.
- Jeff (8/5): Located in Taumadi Square - Sunny Guest House is a nice convenient place to stay. The rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly. Also, if it's clear, you can get a nice view of the Himalayas from the roof. The only drawback was some noisy people in the stairwell when I was trying to sleep, but other than that it was great............
