- Mihloti (7/5): the staff must improve the way they treat and interact with customers. - the breakfast was good. the location is also good treatment from one of the staff members was not good, i was accused of burning a pillow-case with the iron, i did not even use their iron as there was an electricity problem, the pillow case only had stain from my coloured hair, i was accused of burning it, instead of asking me they sent me an invoice to pay for the pillowcase, i was not okay with the treatment, i even washed it to prove to them that i didn't burn it.

- Erica (1/5): Disgusting. This place should shut down and have a refurbishment. - Nice enough pool and location We booked two rooms. One of them looked nothing like the one we thought we booked from the photos. Furthermore, it was so dump the pillows were wet and smelled of feet. The aircon didn’t work. We had to remove the duvet and lie our own blanket on top of the sheets and pillows to be dry. The courtains and ceiling were all spotted of mould. The whole place smelled of mould and dump. We also had to sleep with the windows open, which meant we heard every plane taking off from the nearby airport for the whole night. The sofas and decorating pillows on the bed were dirty and mouldy. The other room was better but the courtains were mouldy and dirty too. The duvet had a cigarette burn and the towels were dirty. And the pillows smelled of sweat. I think the whole place should not allowed people to sleep in it. The conditions are borderline negligence and it is unacceptable to let people sleep in it. Low cleaning standard and the property could have at least left a dehumidifier and trying to clean the room. We barely slept. The worst stay I have had in years. We are incredibly upset and underslept, I can’t believe anybody could think of this as suitable to sleep in.

The blinds in the kitchen were very dusty/dirty, and there was a broken cupboard door in the kitchen as well as a lack of teaspoons. The towels were worn out, and musty spots on the ceiling of the bathroom. There were dirty marks on the carpets. Bedding okay....??? Garden not attended to, etc.

It’s close to the airport and also have a nice little garden. The wifi was working perfectly. The owner is absolutely lovely and very attentive It’s close to the airport so you hear the plane until late ar night but that is perfectly normal

- Athina (8/5): It was safe and comfortable but not exciting enough for the children. - The staff are lovely, garden is pretty and the room was private. The parking was limited, the bathroom door needed fixing and it didn't feel like a space good for children.

- Angel (8/5): The place was small and cozy, good for a one night stop over. - The property seemed very secure.. After asking for late checkout and confirming late check out upon arrival, I still felt rushed out at normal checkout time by the staff.
- Mark (5/5): I'd avoid it if possible - but if you're a tourist I'd avoid Port Elizabeth all together. - If you have to stay in Port Elizabeth I guess this was just about acceptable Rooms not cleaned properly - quite a bit of mould in evidence. Looked a bit tired overall. Port Elizabeth itself was disappointing so I'd look for other places on the garden route to stay

- Sokratis (10/5): Quiet and comfortable stay - Very comfortable and spacious. We booked two rooms, one had a kitchenette with the basics. Garden is very nice with table and chairs for each room but could not use them due to the weather. Breakfast was not included in our reservation. It's 150 ZAR pp. Parking is free inside the guesthouse, but a bit small for large cars. The sofa bed was only suitable for small kids. Not very comfy. Pool is small, just for a refreshing dip.

Rooms surround a main house and pool. + Felt safe and secure with parking available inside locked gates + Room was good size and bed was very comfortable. + Shower was hot with excellent pressure + Staff was kind and helpful + Breakfast was delicious + Walking distance to the beach and shops/restaurants nearby! Nothing - all good!

- Marina (9/5): I enjoyed my stay. It was close to shops, restaurants and the beach. - The room was big and had everything in it to make for an enjoyable stay. Plenty of cupboard space, shelves in the bathroom and shower. The cutlery and crockery in the room was good. There was a fridge and microwave which were very useful. Everything worked well and it's obvious that the property is well-maintained. The room was a bit dark and there wasn't a view. That was not a problem as I was mainly out.

- Nobulali (3/5): Poor - The receptionist lady Ellsea is incompetent for her job. She is rude and not friendly at all. She gave my car keys to the other guests but could not even apologize to me after realizing her mistake. What a risk? Understanding me. Saying I should leave my car unattended and take Uber, only to find out that she gave the other guests my car keys.

- Susan (7/5): Good location and accommodation for a short stay - We stayed one night before catching a flight to Durban and it was perfect. The guys welcomed us and gave good advice on where to eat and how to get to the airport Good value for money although could do with some updating
- Danielle (10/5): - It is a wonderful place with a great room ( Maritime) . Very well appointed and very tastefully decorated. The manager, Fiona, was most pleasant and helpful. It is a great place to relax ( nice walks around) before a long flight. We loved it there.
