• David (10/5): Excellent if second-hand smoke doesn´t bother you. - Zoku Amsterdam is a unique, innovative hotel, conveniently located to major museums, attractions, and ground transportation. They will provide you with a smoke-free room and a smoke-free dining area, as required by local law. Nor will their excellent staff expose you to third-hand smoke. The restaurant is healthy and delicious and the social and work areas are well-maintained and inviting. Zoku even provides musical instruments for their guests who want to jam. Unfortunately, smoking is a major health and social problem in Amsterdam. Even the outdoor areas of the Amsterdam center are like being in a smoking lounge - it is impossible to escape the second-hand smoke. According to the World Health Organization, tobacco kills more than 7 million people each year, including an estimated 1.6 million non-smokers who are exposed to second-hand smoke. Zoku Amsterdam benefits from its commercial district location which is further from the center with its wider avenues which make it easier to avoid second-hand smoke in outdoor locations. Zoku provides extensive outdoor rooftop terraces featuring beautiful views of Amsterdam where, unfortunately, smoking is permitted. Non-smokers enjoy rooftop views, too, but unfortunately the Zoku rooftop terraces are generally off limits for non-smokers if they wish to protect their health. During popular social events, the Zoku terraces are jammed with smokers – a stark contrast to the very healthy cuisine served in the excellent Zoku restaurant. The live musical events at Zoku are presented in the indoors social areas, but at one such event that I attended the adjoining doors to the smoking terraces were opened so that the smokers could better hear the music and immediately the entire music area was full of second-hand smoke. A Zoku manager later explained to me that leaving the terrace doors open is prohibited, not for the protection of hotel guests and staff but for reasons related to the operation of the kitchen.

It have many things on-site such as restaurant, outdoor space, in-room kitchen, nearby gym and other eating establishments. Only single thing I’d add is an additional wall mirror outside the bathroom for a second grooming/make-up space.

• Michele (10/5): Wow!! What a fantastic ApartHotel!! Well done Zoku!! - Everything!! A brilliant concept. Home away from home with everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reception, lounge, bar, garden terrace were creative, fun, beautifully decorated and warm. We had the Loft XL and stayed for 11 nights and it was big enough and comfortable. Loved the pantry at the end of the passage if we needed more towels, dishwashing tablets, ice buckets etc. They have really thought of everything. Nothing. Loved everything!!

Non c’era nulla se non cornetti vuoti e fagottini al cioccolato. Quella salata peggio, salumi a contagocce e sottilette di formaggio. Scarsa la colazione.

Very welcoming However, during our most recent stay, we noted a decline in certain aspects of the accommodation quality. In particular, the towels appeared worn and thin, lacking the sense of comfort and luxury expected at this level. Additionally, there were visible stains on the curtains, and overall room presentation did not meet the high standards we had previously experienced. Given the pricing of the accommodation, the current level of upkeep and attention to detail does not align with expectations. We believe that some reinvestment in maintenance and quality control is necessary to restore the standard that Zoku has historically delivered.

• Kalle (9/5): Incredibly nice and comfy stay at ZOKU! - The place is very nice, modern with an urban vibe! We stayed in a loft which was like a small supernova apartment with a full kitchen, fridge, microwave etc!! The breakfast is AMAZING, and the staff is superfriendly. will stay here again on my next trip to Amsterdam! They walk to the very city centre is 15 minutes or so. We spent a lot of time in De Pijp which was supernice!! there was nothing to dislike!!

• Lee (5/5): - Location, ease of check in/out. The sleeping arrangements are not suitable for anyone over 30. Clambering all over the place to get in/out of bed isn't for the older mob! The room was tiny, even after upgrading to the larger room. Oven extractor was on all the time, day 2 of 5 this was informed to the staff who said they'd resolve the problem & promptly didn't! Unable to physically connect any device to the TV. Shower products provided were of poor quality. Poor lighting throughout the whole room especially the bathroom.

• Maud (9/5): Un séjour très agréable que je recommande! - L'appartement était très agréable et fonctionnel! Et l'emplacement parfait, très bien desservi en transports en commun et proche de la vieille ville à pied. RAS

El personal es muy amable.Nos gustó mucho el ambiente del sitio y nos encantaron las zonas comunes.La terraza tiene vistas espectaculares. Gracias a todo el personal, especialmente a Clara. Las camas no resultaron tam cómodas.

• MIHAELA (10/5): Espectacular-Recomendable 💯 - Hotel precioso y muy nuevo, con una ubicación excelente: en solo 10-15 minutos andando estás en el centro de Ámsterdam. El desayuno es variado y de gran calidad, y la atención del personal hace que la estancia sea aún más especial. Sin duda, una experiencia inolvidable.

Two things missing that would have improved the stay were a luggage rack and box of facial tissues The staff while they were all very nice, weren’t very helpful when it came to recommending outside restaurants near the hotel, their answer was oh I don’t know.
• Michael (7/5): We had fun and it was cost - Catered for very well and a big selection The price, it’s not worth the almost £400 a night I paid, I’ve stayed at better places around Amsterdam that were cheaper, it was very over priced considering there were no spa facilities ect

• Tariq (10/5): Culture meats comfort - A blend of art, culture and comfort. Rarely I’d give a perfect score, but Zoku was everything and more you’d expect from a stay that’s redefining the industry. Super cozy, central, very hip. Not the most luxurious but definitely the most efficient.
• sandra (10/5): Genial - La habitación esta muy bien aprovechada y es muy funcional, la cocina esta equipada con todo lo necesario, el baño esta muy bien, con una ducha enorme y la cama muy cómoda y grande. Esta todo bastante limpio, y hay una habitación donde puedes ir a buscar papel de WC, tostadora, plancha... La zona del hotel esta super bien ubicada, estas a 10 minutos máximo en bici de los sitios mas interesantes de Amsterdam y la zona es bastante segura. Me ha sorprendido mucho.
