Guest Reviews
- Paul (10/5): - Ok to stay
- Chakapope (10/5): - The only complaint is that breakfast was not up to par.
- Miss Ngamta (8/5): - ที่กว้างไม่แอบและมองดูสะอาดตา
👍👍👍👍
- E K (4/5): Hotel needs Management attention! - Staff all smiles, pleasant but ineffective.
No WiFi or so weak that communication with either IPhone or iPad dropped-out. But the hotel’s solution was to suggest sitting in the Lobby area !!
No TV, eventually the staff accessed 1 channel.
Breakfast adequate but restricted to only cooking fried eggs. Request for a plain omelette beyond the cook’s capability ??
Left after 1 of 2 day booking.
Certainly below my expectation.
- Douglas (10/5): Great hotel in Nong Khai close to the border. - Great hotel with circulating hot water and full in house air conditioning. Good size refrigerator. Excellent condition. Highly recommend it.
- CHAKAWARN (8/5): - Would like front desk to remind us when check in whether we had FREE breakfast or not.
Also, the shower should ha e a door or something. Water splashed everywhere when you take a shower.
And our room has tiny little ants everywhere.
- sunee (10/5): - Very clean
- Terence (8/5): - Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Nice room
Nothing to criticise
- Vut (10/5): - Good hotel, clean and comfortable, friendly staffs
- Dennis (10/5): A Gem. - This the second time we have stayed here and found just as pleasent. The staff very friendly and obliging. I rate the house keeping 100% they are efficient and friendly. The breakfast mainly cater for Asian however there are some small choices for Falang. Value for money 100%we would stay again.
- Chris (8/5): - Good service and friendly staff.
However never supplied with coffee in rooms and breakfast range suited the locals.
- philip (10/5): clean and tidy hotel with breakfast - The hotel is right next to the bridge to Laos walking distance ,the room had good views and was quiet,.check in staff were not that welcoming but i got there at 7pm so maybe that had something to do with it,check out staff were fine and the guy on the door was friendly.
The room was good with nice bathroom and comfortable bed and a sofa, tv with cable .
The only thing wrong with the room is there is a kettle but no tea or coffee which is strange I asked reception and they just said yes no tea or coffee as this hotel is about twice as much as others in nong khai small things like that matter and wouldn't cost much to put in the room.
Breakfast was good enough for hotel like this i had fried eggs toast and some thai dish as well and salad and fresh fruit , tea and fresh coffee as well ,the breakfast hall was nice and quiet and I sat by window with a view .
I would stay here again unless i was on a budget or wanted to stay further in town , there are restaurants nearby and street food
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location, very helpful staff, poor breakfast and dangerously slippery bathroom floor
- Adrian (4/5): - Patio door lock broken, patio curtain won't open, shower was either too hot or too cold, tried long time to make water correct temperature, bed sheets ripped, cleaners only supply water, never clean room, breakfast good, bell boy great service, kettle in room but no cup, coffee etc !
Overall not worth the money, there are cheaper and better in this area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok hotel is Nong Khai over night - Hotel is ok for an overnight stay. Close to the major local attractions if you have transport as we did. Clean, staff helpful although English is a challenge. Breakfast simple Thai style but nice and tasty.
- Doug (8/5): Nice hotel near Friendship Bridge - Wanted something in Nong Khai close to Laos border but not too distant from good eats. It turns out there was a great seafood restaurant 900m away. Hotel appeared very new or had been remodeled recently. Free breakfast (Thai, but also cereal, toast, drip coffee) was great and totally exceeded my expectations. Only negative was there was mildew growth along bottom edge of glass partition in shower (common in Thailand hotels but still a blemish on otherwise clean accommodations).
- Thomas (10/5): I'll Be Back!!! - The Tanzeno is always a great place to stay. I have been here 4 or 5 times. The breakfast is fine, internet tops. Dao and the staff are very good. It is a tad distant from the center of Nong Khai, but an easy tuk-tuk ride. And it is a 5 minute walk to the Thai Immigration Station to bonk into Lao. Great place to stay for a few days in Isaan. I will stay again 4 sure! Thank you.
- JMD (6/5): Mixed Feelings - Huge storm came early evening, electricity went off all over town. No generator back up for the hotel, no A/C, no light etc... Rooms on main floor, view over construction equipment and trash!! Bed mattress extremely hard, some softer ones replaced on request with slightly better one. Kids asked for 3 extra pillows, were told first two complimentary, the third one would have to pay 100 bath???
Housekeeping/Restaurant Staff great. At the Reception, I was asking why the Hotel was the last building without Electricity on the first day after the storm, since the whole town had electricity. Was told that there electricity was coming from Laos and not Thailand that is why it took longer (really?), was asking why Wifi connection for room 105 was good but impossible to connect wifi room 106... was told it was because of the storm?? that went on for 3 days!
Anyhow, it was a good location, great service staff, that did not spoil our stay! Just thought the reception staff should be more careful when giving information.
- 808 TATW (8/5): Efficient, western hotel close to Laos border - Hotel is fairly new, staff is very helpful. Elevator and luggage cart makes moving in/out with luggage easy. Room size is good, mattress hard, but still ok. Breakfast was included. Not too many choices.
Unfortunately, there was a pretty bad smell coming from the bathroom. Got a little better after we poured water down all drains, but the smell lingered. There was also an issue with the shower: water either came out hot or cold, nothing in between and the water heater, present in many Thai hotels, was not accessible. Finally, the fridge looks like a wine fridge, which would explain why it doesn't really cool drinks.
These issues seem to be fixable, so, might be better in the future.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, amazing staffs.
Very good hotel.
I defenitely come back when I come around here again
