Johan (10/5): - Väldigt stora,70kvm, rum med bra komfort. Ishallen, där cupen gick, ligger på andra sidan gatan vilket är väldigt bekvämt. En 10-15min promenad in till Trencins torg och ett stort utbud av restauranger och barer. Hotellets restaurang har en otroligt bra asiatisk meny som måste provas.

Marcus (10/5): - What an amazing hotel! When I pulled into the parking lot the hotel looked a bit like a shopping mall but once we got to the rooms we were shocked at nice they were. The service was incredible. They even brought a bed for our dog as the hotel is pet friendly. The spa and massage was wonderful and the masseuse knows what he's doing! I have stated many hotels in my life and five star hotels and some of the top franchise names and I have to say that this hotel is definitely in the top three experiences I've ever had. I can't describe how happy we were with this stay. I would highly recommend this hotel as not only the rooms are comfortable and a good size. The bathrooms are clean and modern as well as the service of all the facilities are top notch! We will definitely be going back here.

ridehardliveeasy (10/5): Excellent hotel inTrencin - The Magnus hotel is next to the hockey arena and offers great rooms. Price value ratio is very good. The breakfast is served at the Sushi restaurant. A cook prepares egg individually for every guest. They even serve sparkling wine at the breakfast buffet. My room was huge just like a suite and my travel companion had the same experience. Nice bathroom with a seperate toilette. Bath tub and a shower cabin was there. Free parking in front of the hotel makes travelling easy. Will definitely come back on my next Trencin trip.

Breakfast a bit late and not very warm...COVID restrictions meant breakfast in room only. Was called after booking and asked about my family name...staff worried over foreigners and COVID. They better get over that!

You can choose a view – onto the hockey stadium and a busy street, drab 1950’s blocks of flats and dustbins, drab 1960’s blocks of flats and a parking lot… etc. Very romantic. Doesn’t location count at all??? And the room? It appears luxurious, but: no place to put the suitcase, no lamp on the working table, no proper surface or shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries bag (unless you want it damp from the sink), no shelf in the shower for your shampoos (don’t you just love it when you have to put them on the floor and all the shampoo water gets in your eyes as you bend over), the choice of air was either suffocatingly stiff with closed widows and a disturbing A/C hum, or kitchen ‘fragrance’ spiced up by some constant beeping sound, four types of lighting in the bathroom but only one annoyingly bright ceiling glare in the room and no lamps on the night table!! (yeah, who’d want to read in bed in the 21st century, or just switch on a small soft light not to fall over in the night), stupid „anti-theft“ hangers in the wardrobe (we charge a fortune for the rooms but we don’t trust our customers with the coat hangers), sound insulation from the neighbouring room's bathroom basically none, you could hear all the sounds… need I say more? The designer probably never stayed in a hotel before. Ok, it was clean and the food was nice. But, all in all, a complete waste of money and an utter sham when it comes to comfort.

Aro8 (8/5): Very good hotel in Trencin - I was there for a business meeting for few days in January this year. From outside hotel is not much to look on. Lobby area is also strange for hotels, more like shopping malls :-). But the rooms are really spacious , moderns and equipped with anything you may need. There is a hallway, living room and bedroom and enormous bathroom. Only strange for me is that you cannot watch TV from the bed because TV is in a living room, not bedroom. There is a bowling free of charge whish was fun. Breakfast is very good and there is lot to choose from except coffee from the maschine is bad, so order it from a waitress. I would recomend this hotel !

Does appear rather strange from outside but inside you have a spa, bowling alley (1 hr free to guests), coffee shop and restaurant amongst other things. Rooms are ENORMOUS with large bedroom, sitting area and large bathroom. Multiple accesses to internet. Restaurant very good with great sushi. Lunch time was very very busy. Breakfast was excellent and reception staff great. Opposite ice hockey station and centre within walking distance. will definitely stay here again if in area
TomasKa (10/5): Modern and excelent hotel! - We stayed here for a 2 nights during music festival in June. Hotel is located in smaller shopping center near hockey stadium, but there was very quiet. Hotel room was excelent! Size room was very large and bathroom was amazing, bed was very very large and comfortable. I have never slept better. :-) Breakfast was very good and tasty. We spent here very great time and we looking forward to our next visit.
ejaz (8/5): Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and well priced - The hotel was very nice, and it was better once you are inside, the outside can be very deceiving. I highly recommend the deluxe suite, because you get the in-room jacuzzi. Room was very comfortable, but doesn't have coffee/tea making facility. The TV is also placed directly in the living room area so you cannot watch TV in bed. Otherwise, its very spacious and very affordable. Staff are exceptional (especially Nikol on reception who is not only very helpful but also very beautiful !). I had a TV problem which was fixed the next day but I was offered same evening repair or an upgrade, which I declined as I was not too concerned but appreciated the hospitality and service. Location was very good too and the food from the restaurant was very nice and breakfast selection was also fine.

Frank (10/5): BRA HOTELL I TRENCIN - Brukte dette hotellet i 10 netter i Juli 2018 og er veldig fornøyd med dette. Trencin er en koselig by og jeg ønsket å vøre nærmest mulig til min sønns opphold på Ishockey skole. Hotellet har fine rom med alt du trenger med unntak av kaffe/vannkoker...Bra utvalg på tv-kanaler og rent og pent baderom. Hotellet ligger i gangavstand ca 8-900 m fra sentrum. Frokosten var utmerket og smakfull samt med muligheter til å velge diverse "eggvarianter" . Ansatte gjorde alt for å hjelpe deg med informasjon og behersket godt engelsk. Anbefaler dette hotellet for alle type reiser i dette området av Slovakia.
kennethdN5710EI (10/5): Modern and Spacious Rooms in an Odd Location - You wouldn't know that this was a hotel from the outside, which appears to be some sort of strip mall by the hockey stadium, but the rooms were clean, modern, and very spacious. Friendly staff that let us store our bags behind the desk all day after checkout while we ran around. Its about a 12 minute walk from the historic downtown, but close to the grocery store (which maintains very odd hours on the weekend).

graemeb69 (8/5): Looks can be deceptive - Arrived thinking hotel didn't look too good.......how wrong were we. Room was comfy, very spacious and the bathroom was massive. Bowling alley under the hotel was great to spend a bit time and staff were great. had a meal at the hotel and it was very good as was the breakfast. Not much around the hotel other than an Ice Hockey stadium across the road.

Parking was busy throughout my stay and sometimes difficult to find a space. Breakfast is good. All round great hotel for business or leisure. The bar downstairs is a bit on the small side but still worth a visit. All staff are helpful and have good english.

Suzie (10/5): Nice hotel and friendly staff. - We stayed two nights at the Hotel Magnus in Trencin and visited several castles in the area. We really enjoyed it! Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We liked the lighting alot. Neon blue subdued lights around the beautiful, deep bathtub. Very romantic! They provided comfy bathrobes, too. There is a Jacuzzi and spa treatments available plus a 3 lane bowling alley which we tried out. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay there again if in the area. The hotel complex also has a cafe/bar, restaurant, tanning salon and sporting goods store.
586atillas (10/5): Trencin stay - Very good place to stay for more nights. Appartement is huge, wellness with sauna is also good and big for a Hotel and the breakfast on next day is realy good. In approx. 15 - 20 minutes you can walk to the City Centre.
infofrom (10/5): just for recommending - it was a short trip to Trencin to stay one night there, this hotel was the one with exceptable environment, not in the too crowdy citycentre, quiet neighbourhood etc. The room was quit good, with the indoor jacuzzi and the big rooms there were provided. The only remark that for a price standard, into the shower a holder for anything would be good...as the pure water will not be the only cleaner of the body.

Vladimír (8/5): Příjemný pobyt ve výborném hotelu - Obývali jsme velmi pěkný a velký pokoj (60 m2) s velkou a moderně vybavenou koupelnou s vanou i sprchou. Všude bylo čisto. Pochvala patří i ochotným recepčním hotelu. Příjemné bylo i parkování auta v podzemní garáži, které je pro ubytované zdarma. V ceně ubytování je také moc hezké wellnes, jen vířivka byla právě nefunkční. Navštívili jsme také zajímavý trenčianský hrad.

Splendid wellness area, free for guests, with a number of saunas, steam bath... One restaurant, not the cheapest one, bowling, nice and friendly staff. Cannot but recomend :-)
frencienb (10/5): Spacious rooms, kind staff, variety of facilities! - Stayed for 1 night and experienced well equiped business hotel. Very clean and business oriented. Rooms are extemely spacious /standard room larger than suite in other hotels/ with big bathroom and sofa. In the hotel is cozy wellness open until 11pm, so the solarium and massage /cheap and very good/. There is cafeteria and restaurant in the building, which serves tasty food during breakfast as well. Jodo78 (6/5): Good Hotel - Stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Ample parking in front of hotel, additional parking underneath. Welcome reception received at check in. Rooms clean and tidy very very spacious with lounge area containing sofa, stools and small coffee table. Loads of storage in the room. Bathrobes and slippers provided. 2.0m beds, ok for comfort. Room was a bit on the warm side. Bathroom again very spacious and excellent shower, mood lighting around the bath. Breakfast was OK, fresh omelettes and eggs cooked on request, plenty of pastries and cereals, not a great cooked selection but that was not an issue. Evening meals were very good and reasonably priced, I would recommend a side order if you have a decent appetite though as main meals portions not that big. Erb beer was very good. Did not get opportunity to use the spa facilities or on site bowling alley so unable to comment on these. If in this area again I would consider stopping here, nothing negative about this hotel. But do like to try different hotels. I would recommend a room at the back of the hotel due to road noise at the front.
98laura2020 (8/5): Nice place for couples - Very modern and spacious rooms. Really good wellness centre, would be even better with a swimming pool. Morning buffet was great, lots of choice and a chef was there to prepare eggs all morning. Evening buffet was OK, although the choice of main meals didn't look great, but the cakes were amazing! Friendly staff. Short walk to the centre. The hotel bar is quite pricy.

tralala2016 (10/5): perfect hotel - we stayed there for two nights. the rooms are really nice, cosy, stylish and big, with all the needed equipment. i really liked the bathroom with a blue led light in a bath. the is also a spa , with a lot of saunas and ice cave as well. you can have a massage. we had breakfasts and dinners in a restaurant , food was tasty and delicious. we got a voucher for 1 hour of bowling in the hotel and entrance to the hot outside pool. i really recommend, it was a nice weekend. :) the only minus - wifi was not working well inside the room, just near the door. but we didnt mind.
