• Annie (10/5): Amazing. - Staff were so nice- limited English, but you should always try to speak Japanese when you travel here! Breakfast and stay was traditional, but exceeded our expectations. Our room was a basic one, with breakfast included, and it had a gorgeous view of Fuji san. What a brilliant place. Great location too. Seriously would stay again. I saw a spider in the room, but that was about it! Older building, so that’s expected.

• Martin (9/5): How could you experience Japan´s hospitality in a better way? - It is a very traditional Ryokan with an established history. The hot bath are both very special places you have to visit and enjoy. We had traditional dinner and traditional lunch. Maybe not everyones taste, but you have to enjoy those if you want to experience japanese hospitality. The staff almost only speaks japanese and little englisch. But this makes it even more kind. They make themselves understandable in every possible way. We also liked the traditinal room. The sleep at the Futons were so relaxing and one of the best nights I had in Japan. The best part about the room is the fact, that you can see Mt. Fuji in the morning when you wake up. I do not know how you could experience Japan better than waking up in a Ryokan with the view of Mt. Fuji in the morning. I was a little worried about doing something wrong during my stay. The house is so traditional, and you just want to behave properly to be polite and respectful to your hosts.

• Kerstin (10/5): Amazing stay, photos don‘t do it justice! - Don‘t hesitate to book! We travel a lot and we are not campers, we like a good hotel. This hotel is old, but clean and has every luxury needed! We were treated like VIPs, this hotel is an absolutely authentic experience, we were the only people with non-japanese names at the time. The Onsen and the room are absolutely authentic and unique experiences. We loved everything. The breakfast is not for the weak though, it‘s authentic for Enoshima and traditional food that includes a whole fish. I could not eat it, but the staff were lovely about it. Room view on Fuji San was the cherry on top! Nothing!

• Emily (8/5): Grand old dame that has seen better days - Staff were very friendly and helpful; directly located on walking street of island Meals were not served in our room as per typical ryokan but served in communal dining rooms. Carpark is off site so big luggage will be a problem; as we were driving a small camper, carpark fees was not reimbursed as as we could not park inside the designated multi-storey carpark.

Views of the ocean from our rooms was perfect. Onsen cleaning times made it a little inconvenient. Also no clocks in the onsen (is that normal?)

• Takashi (2/5): 旅行がすきで国内、海外と毎年行っているが、なんの収穫もなし、いままで旅行で最悪 - プールがあることを同行した孫がある知って準備し孫二人と息子の三人専用プールで楽しんでいた。 私は見落とし準備しておらず残念な思いが残っている(笑) 家族旅行等出かける時はほとんどが息子夫婦が仕切ってくれている、今回初めてネットで宿を検索、予約、決済をおこなった結果、大きな不満足が発生し、楽しみが激減し、ネットでの決済はやるべきでないと知った。まず宿に着きフロントで夕食がないことが説明をうけ愕然となった、’ホテル’とあれば夕食はないと思っているが貴宿は昔からの日本旅館であり、立派な夕食付と思っていた、ネット予約では朝食はどうするか、決める必要があっが夕食のことは一言も書いてない、ネット予約は各社競争で少しでもメリットをうたい文句にするのを見落とし今回価格も選定対象にしていたのがあだとなり、フロントではこれからの夕食準備はむりとあり、さて夕食は何時にどこにしようか全員で協議。プールでの遊びと町の散策はなし。私の面目まるつぶれ（怒）幸いすこしして夕食準備可能となり、一安心。この経緯は貴ネット業者の詐欺行為に近いと思う、この行為は岩本楼も承知しているのか口コミに投稿するつもりである、

Номер достаточно большой, все в отеле располагает к спокойному и умиротворенному отдыху. Учтены все мелочи. Очень классный Онсен, где можно расслабиться и согреться. Утром подают классический японский завтрак, весьма специфичный для европейцев. Рядом много интересных лавочек, ресторанов и мест для прогулок. Зимой достаточно прохладно в некоторых местах отеля, но, видимо, это связано с японской философией.

• Kurtis (9/5): Our favorite stay in Japan - Despite some language difficulties, the staff were very helpful and attentive. This is a great example of a traditional room experience in Japan. Highly recommended. The location was also very nice. It was cloudy when we were there, but they said on clear days there would have been a view of Mt Fuji from our window. Everything was great.

• Cathy (8/5): Beautiful views and a historic inn, right in the heart of island yet tucked away from the main and bustling walkways - The location was fantastic yet still quite tucked in off the main walkway. The staff were fantastic and attentive to every need. They accommodated my Gluten Free diet at breakfast. The views from our room were the highlight! It seemed a bit tired, rugs and walls. The onsen is clearly had better days and could use a facelift. I would recommend getting historical funding or benefactors to take on the restoration of the beautiful onsen!
