- oiga (9/5): - Tolles Hotel, befindet sich direkt am Ufer des Flusses. Sieht ein bisschen heruntergekommen vom draußen, aber das Dekor drinnen in Hotel ist modern und sauber. Das Service war Toll: das Personal war hilfsbereit und konnte sehr gut Englisch (was nicht immer der Fall ist in Japan). Unser Zimmer war am 8. Stock mit einem schönen Blick auf den Fluss und den gegenüberliegenden Wald. Das Zimmer selbst war geräumig, minimalistisch gerichtet und sauber, und es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Das Essen war in Ordnung: wir hatten nur das Frühstück im Hotel, was sowohl japanisches als auch westliches Essen anbietet. Das Highlight für uns waren das Outdoor-Onsen, wo man sich entspannen kann und dabei sich den außerordentlichen Blick der Natur und des Sonnenuntergangs gönnen, und der Free-Flow Bar! 2 Sachen können noch verbessert werden: (1) das Indoor-Onsen sieht veraltet aus mit Schimmel überall und (2) das Hotel war ein bisschen zu Teuer, also das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat nicht ganz genau gestimmt.

- CX. (8/5): Nice hotel, shame about the guests. - The hotel itself is fantastic. Occupies prime position on the river bank, with stunning views over the river from the guest rooms. The interior is modern, clean, well maintained, but still retains a traditional Japanese aesthetic. The Japanese style room we stayed in was spacious, including the internal bathroom, and there was a lovely a sitting area overlooking the river. The windows open so you can let the fresh air in and enjoy the sounds of the river (during the day, there's a warning not to open the windows at night as there's no fly screens and the area is "overflowing with nature"). They serve buffet dinner and breakfast, which is rare in these small onsen towns, but something of a necessity for my partner and I who have complex and conflicting dietary requirements which usually mean that a traditional kaiseki style Japanese meal isn't feasible for us. They do include some Japanese style appetisers (yakiniku, sashimi, etc) with dinner too, which were delicious, but not enough to make a meal on their own. (for the record, you NEED to eat dinner at your accomodation, none of the local restaurants are open for dinner). The indoor baths are well appointed, lots of washing bays, nice hair/body products, etc. The water temperature was good for me (quite hot), and the water itself had the lovely silky feel of mineral-rich spring water. If you walk down to the river, you can actually find places along the river bed where hot water vents into the river. Staff were very well mannered and helpful, not a hint of the "what are you doing here, gaijin?" attitude that you often get in small onsen villages (thought I later learned why...). There's a small souvenir store in the lobby if you want to pick up something local, and a vending machine that sells hagen das ice cream if you want a late night sweet treat. They also had a happy hour around check in time with complimentary wine and coffee, etc. If you want a quiet, relaxing, traditional onsen experience, this isn't the place for you. As the biggest hotel in the area, management has clearly decided to focus on international tour groups, and they are leaning into it so hard that Japanese people don't stay there. The only Japanese I heard spoken during our stay was the staff talking to each other.... but I heard so many Aussie accents I wondered if I'd somehow ended up in Niseko.... and they were so loud. As an Aussie myself, I was actually embarrassed at how loud and rowdy they were, you could hear them from almost anywhere in the hotel. The self serve alcohol at dinner did not help, their shouting and carrying on dominated the whole dining hall but no one from the staff asked them to be mindful of other guests. The outdoor baths are a massive let down because they are mixed gender, fully visible from the overlooking hotel rooms, and also from the road. Consequently, you have to wear bathers or "onsen yukata" to use them. Like the dining hall, they were also over run with shouty (and I assume, drunk) Aussies all afternoon and into the evening, so no chance of having a nice peaceful bath just enjoying the sounds of nature around you - we could even hear them yelling from our room which was 7 floors above. Very disappointing since the baths are set into the stones of the river bank and actually look quite nice. The buffet dinner and breakfast were actually super weird. There's a lot of variety, but it's the kind that comes from trying to cater for too many different cultural tastes. There was hardly any Japanese food. Instead, it was a mix of "western" and Chinese, but done badly. "Spaghetti Napoletana" that was just noodles with a thin coating of ketchup. Lukewarm bite sized "Hamburg steak". An uncovered plate of french fries that went cold and just sat there without being replaced for an hour. Breakfast was the same deal....
- HIROMIUKIGAYA (9/5): 満足です｡ - 今回お出迎えの時から､素敵なフタッフさんが居てくださり｡ とても誘導もスムーズに駐車場にも入れました。 施設も､とても充実していて｡ お食事も､夜も朝もたくさん品数が有って皆んな美味しかったです。 フリードリンクサービスにアルコールも含まれ､おつまみ迄用意されていました。ただ､コーヒー好きの私は飲みたい時には時間外で飲めませんでした。 他のスタッフの皆様も､優しく笑顔で良かったです。 後､一緒に宿泊した友人がとても感激していたのは｡ 硫黄温泉水が､飲み放題で凄く喜んでいました。 また是非､宿泊したいです。 ありがとうございました。 私の今回宿泊したお部屋に､前人の方のバスタオルが片付けて無く｡ 後､シャワーカーテンのカビが目立ち少し残念でした。
- Ying (7/5): 房間偏舊，但基本都很乾淨。溪邊溫泉很讚，餐飲不錯，因為很早就訂了，個人覺得算高CP值 - 整體不錯。 溫泉更衣室內沒有提供毛巾...有點奇怪。每次要自己從房間帶去，但房間也只提供一人一條，都需要另外再去櫃台索取，想說他們不覺得這樣很不方便嗎?客人會一直去麻煩櫃台...有點不好意思

- Williams (9/5): Perfect after a long day of walking - We stayed in the only suite and were treated very well. All drinks were included, as well as dinner and breakfast. The indoor Onsen was tired looking and didn’t seem super clean, but the outdoor one on the river was amazing.

A nuestra llegada nos recibieron muy bien , Moene fue de gran ayuda en todo lo relativo al hotel y como dejar nuestro equipaje para que fuese trasladado al siguiente hotel. La cena fue muy agradable lo recomiendo porque en la zona no hay muchas opciones. El desayuno muy completo me gusto todo

Excellent culinary experience and a neat little onsen. I will definitely come back The toilet floor was a little bit dirty in my Ryokan-style room, same with the bathroom. I would expect more cleanliness for the price and to match the other qualities. Same with the onsen. Don't get me wrong, outdoor onsen is great. But the standards presented elsewhere were not matched by the rather simple onsen. Additionally, the water was barely warm enough outside, nowhere near hot enough for an onsen.

- Ju-Hui (10/5): 參拜完熊野本宮大社後，非常值得來此住一晚。公車直達飯店旁，第一次人才走到停車場還沒進門，飯店迎賓人員已經走來確認住宿名字，然後直接帶入櫃檯辦理入住。晚餐跟早餐都很棒，有一些當地風味料理及飲料。最後一定要試試穿著浴衣走到戶外，泡著野溪溫泉看滿 - 從飯店位置、迎賓、餐點、到野溪溫泉，都非常滿意。

For the price of the Japanese room, you’d expect a better bathroom. Towels are old and no towels are available in the onsen area. Dryer in room is not great.
- Joanna (9/5): A great choice if you want a larger hotel. - Overall excellent stay. The buffet breakfast and dinner were very good. I fact the dinner was excellent with individual hot pot and sashimi waiting at our table with our dietary requirements met. Very handy for the bus stop and swimsuits available if you want to use the outdoor mixed onsen. No towels in the changing area available when using the indoor and outdoor onsen so you had to take the towel from the room. Only a small thing though, everything else was great.

La habitación era amplia y de estilo japonés. Había muchos mosquitos y apenas se podía estar en la terraza, ni dejar abierta las ventanas obvio. Nosotros alquilamos coche, pero el acceso al hotel es complicado si deseas salir a cenar o a realizar otras actividades. Denota un hotel que necesita un buen lavado de cara.

Le repas-buffet est extraordinairement copieux et varié. Petit déjeuner est aussi très bien. Ne pas manquer un passage à l'onsen de l'hôtel, compris dans le prix de la chambre. Expérience très agréable, dans un cadre nippon (peu de touristes étrangers)

- TAKAKO (4/5): コスパが悪い - 露天温泉が雰囲気があって良かったです、 また、温泉の温度を管理しているご高齢の男性はとても感じがよく、プロ意識を感じました。 他のスタッフについてですが、 気まぐれのぶらり旅で宿がどこも取れずこちらになりましたが、普段着、サブカーで行ったところ、身なり等々で判断しているのか、上客以外は外国人のスタッフをつけたり、他も横柄で不親切 旅行客は外国の方が多く、施設は古めで、部屋の設備は昔のビジネスホテル程度？ バイキングはお酒が飲み放題のようだったので、飲む方にはいいと思います。 食事も可もなく不可もなく、食堂は夜間かなり暗い雰囲気 今回は1週間くらいいろいろなホテルに滞在して回りましたが、こちらは、全体的に平均的な温泉旅館ではありますが、コスパを考えると悪いです せめて、日本人従業員がもう少し感じがよければ、良かったのですが、、、

The outside onsen is small but beautiful. There is a free drink bar, including wine and beer. There even is a small shop where you can buy food in the hotel.
