- Nick (9/5): Terrific stay all round - The breakfast was stunning! A very Japanese layout so much variety and interest experience. Hotel onsen is also very nice and peaceful overlooking the river. Beds are a little stiff seems to be quite a standard in Japan. Staff are nice although I was surprised that most of the staff not Japanese. We had a slight confusion with check in possibly a language barrier as a relative speaks fluent Japanese and they couldn't understand.

- Jaylynne (10/5): Peaceful bliss with excellent service - The property was beautiful and so peaceful. The staff were so kind, helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed the onsens, foot bath and the area had wonderful restaurants. We would stay again! We loved every part of the stay. It was a little far from the bus stop so walking with the luggage was a little challenging. We also did not know the public onsens were not tattoo friendly but thankfully, my boyfriend was still able to use the onsens as it was not busy but this should be noted on the website.

- Jeanette (9/5): Relaxing, would stay again. - Spacious comfortable room and lounge areas. A lovely onsen and roof terrace. Helpful staff. Complimentary Shochu (local grain spirit) tasting. As usual for hotels these days you have to sleep with the air conditioning running all night as the bedding is too hot. It would be much more environmentally friendly if a thinner blanket was provided so that you don’t have to sleep under a feather quilt in warm weather.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent (good value). The staff was extremely friendly and warm. The location is nearby downtown area and Hitoyoshi station. None.
