• alfonso (10/5): Superior, amazing, true and professional hospitality! - Our stay was superb: Authentic hospitality! Paola and Francesco offer an incomparable attention to their guests. We had a chance to spend some of our days in Apulia in different masserie and none was like Masseria Uccio. Facilities are amazing. Paola and Francesco take care of every detail, they are always present and at the same time they do not invading your privacy. The breakfast was delicious, freshly homemade with local food, and varied every day. We also had the chance to recharge our car by using their solar-powered charging point. Every was perfect
• Heike (10/5): Ruhig und dennoch nah an allem - Die Einrichtung war sehr schön+sauber und es gab reichlich Platz,auch das Bett war sehr bequem. Der Empfang von Paolo und Francesco war sehr herzlich. Da es noch kein Frühstück gab, warteten sämtliche Leckereien im Appartement auf uns: Erdbeeren,Kaffee,Nespole, selbstgemachter Joghurt, selbstgemachte Marmeladen,Kuchen,verschiedene Müslis etc... Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man ist von allen Seiten von Natur umgeben.
• Aru (9/5): Charming! - Francesco and Paola are fantastic hosts - warm and welcoming, responded to all our needs. The massaria is charming with lots of character. Very good breakfasts - much enjoyed the frise, it's history and the ritual accompanying it's eating. Nothing not to like.

• Nicoletta (10/5): Un posto dove ti senti proprio in vacanza - Il posto è immerso nel verde e la struttura è molto bella. La camera era molto ampia. La colazione servita nel porticato aperto con vista giardino per me è la parte più bella. I proprietari gentilissimi e sempre pronti a suggerimenti. E' un posto che consiglio!

Paola e Francesco sono padroni di casa eccezionali: accoglienti, amichevoli e sempre disponibili, ci hanno dato tantissime dritte e idee preziose per scoprire il Salento più autentico. La Masseria è un luogo incantevole, immerso nella campagna ma a pochi minuti da Tricase, una posizione perfetta per esplorare la zona e allo stesso tempo godersi pace e natura. Noi abbiamo alloggiato nell’appartamento ricavato da una tipica struttura rurale pugliese (una liama), restaurata con gusto e arredata con semplicità e calore, dotata di tutto il necessario. La colazione è pazzesca: prodotti freschi e genuini, preparati con cura. Abbiamo anche goduto della tettoia all'aperto sia di mattina che durante piacevoli serate autunnali . Un posto che trasmette autenticità e tranquillità, dove si sente davvero l’anima del Salento. Assolutamente consigliato!
• Detlev (9/5): Ankommen und Relaxen ... It's a real nice place to be. - Man hat diverses Frühstückzubehör in der Wohneinheit. Wir hatten Früchte, Milch, verschiedene Sorten Müsli, Kuchen, Olivenöl, Tomaten etc. Der Stil und die Lage sind für uns ausgezeichnet, abseits von den Touristenströmen, aber alles ist sehr gut zu erreichen. Kleiner Tipp: Viele Gebote und Verbote (z.B. Straßenverkehr) in Apulien scheinen eher Empfehlungen zu sein ... ;-) Frühstück außerhalb der Saison wird nicht serviert.

Paola und Francesco sind herzliche und super hilfsbereite Gastgeber mit tollen Tipps für Restaurants, Strände usw. Das reichhaltige Frühstück mit vielen hausgemachten Köstlichkeiten war umwerfend. • Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - We spent two wonderful weeks at Masseria Uccio, hosted by the warm and welcoming couple Paola and Francesco. Our room was spacious with high ceilings, a super comfortable bed, and excellent air conditioning—much appreciated during the hotter days when we chose to stay in for a few hours rather than head to the nearby beaches. Each morning, we were treated to a superb breakfast featuring homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, a variety of delicious cakes, fresh bread, cereals, and seasonal tomatoes with frisa, a staple of Pugliese cuisine. Everything was lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. Tables were exquisitely set with locally woven linen, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Paola and Francesco struck the perfect balance between offering warm hospitality and respecting guests’ independence. They were always happy to have a friendly chat or share thoughtful recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and places to visit. Guests were also welcome to use the breakfast area, plates, and cutlery for lunch or dinner, which was a lovely option on days we preferred to dine in. A barbecue and several shaded outdoor seating areas added to the relaxed charm of the Masseria—perfect for a quiet drink or leisurely meal. We loved our stay and knew early on that we’d be hard-pressed to find another place as special.
• Emilis (10/5): A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Puglia - We spent almost a week in this lovely little house and were absolutely enchanted – it’s one of the best places we’ve stayed in Italy. With Waze it was easy to find, and the host kindly reached out in advance to make sure everything was clear. The masseria is set in a beautiful landscape, with traditional stone houses and the peaceful charm of a typical Puglian village. It’s quiet and relaxing, yet the town is just nearby, with shops and restaurants within about a 20-minute walk. The house was spotless, well-kept, and very cozy. We had a fully equipped kitchen to cook our meals, and a large pergola where we enjoyed our evenings. The host was extremely helpful – he gave us great tips on where to eat, which beaches to visit, and the best places to park. We truly felt taken care of. His lovely beauty wife prepared amazing breakfasts – I’ve never had such delicious cakes! And there were also savory options, perfect for those who prefer something different than the usual sweet Italian breakfast. If we ever get the chance, we’ll definitely return. We highly recommend this masseria to anyone visiting Puglia, especially the Salento region – it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy an authentic experience. Bed comfortable. Located in the country not to far from city center. Buffet breakfast very generous and full of local in-season produce and homemade cakes and jams. Narrow road that leads to the property. But thankfully the road was not heavily trafficked

• Mark (9/5): A really excellent place to chill close to a fabulous small town, Tricase, a real treat! - A fabulous set of buildings all beautifully renovated in a country environment but close to Tricase. A fabulous room, very comfortable with high ceilings. The courtyard and the BBQ space are fabulous places to have a sundowner before setting off into town. • Rico (10/5): This is the masseria you are looking for! - The rooms are spacious, clean and situated on a beautiful hill overlooking Tricase, with restaurants and beaches close by. We started the day with delicious breakfast (the homemade pastries from Poala are superb!) and always came home in a fresh room with clean towels and linnen. Fransesco provided us with all the relevant information and we enjoyed five traitorrias he recommended. We initially booked for six nights, but we extended our stay with an additional three nights and that still was not enough! Don’t hesitate, just book!
