Everything was just perfect – from the charming decor that beautifully brings the past to life, to the cozy and comfortable room with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed – their warmth made me feel right at home. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, full of delicious local products that gave me a real taste of the region. I truly loved every moment and would wholeheartedly recommend Casa Amarela to anyone visiting the area. I definitely hope to return one day!

Really good size room. Lots of options for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised for my first visit to this region of Portugal.

The reception staff ( even though serviced on limited hours) are very helpful from recommending restaurants to booking a taxi for us. The location is great as it is right in the town centre with nearby parking. A few more hangers in the bathroom would be useful

• Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful attention to detail in a hotel that was like a museum - Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel was decorated in older and antique style furniture so it was like staying in a period house. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and right on the square so we could explore the town. Breakfast was delicious with an amazing array of fresh fruits, local meats and cheeses and homemade breads and pastries. The staff were all lovely and super helpful. we ended up parking our motorcycles right out the front of the hotel and felt very happy leaving them there in the quiet and safe town.
• Raffius (8/5): Stylish on excellent location - The weather was lousy so and our two friends were ill, so we stayed more in the hotel than planned. The very nice interior and the cozy opportunities to sit together made partly up for the weather. The bathroom was very colorful and had ideal lighting for make-up. All rooms have nice furniture, and include a daily free bottle of water. The location is excellent for walking the town, without the noise of the evening tourists. There was parking available, as long as there is no market taking place. I slammed my head three times in this hotel, twice on the top of the door of the room. Breakfast is served relatively late (8:30) and was not even fully ready twice at this time. It lacked the opportunity to drink tea.
• Lisa (10/5): It was intimate, accessible, lovely, and unforgettable! - Nuno, the owner, was very kind, helpful & went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay. The hotel is in the center of Castelo de Vide so we could walk to everything in the town. We had a view of the mountain. The breakfast was beyond all expectations. We stayed for 4 nights in beautiful Castelo de Vide & if we return will stay at Casa Amarela TH & National Monument. This was our third time to stay here. Nothing.
