- Mari (6/5): Not clean or family friendly - It was disappointing. It is not very kid friendly. The breakfast wasn’t provided for young children and even after asking the front desk about the lack of breakfast vouchers they gave us misinformation that we wouldn’t need them to get breakfast for our two youngest kids. The breakfast options were very limited. The room had majorly chipping paint on the window sills. Massive accumulation or dust in the corners of the room and the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned when we got there. My 6 yr old was the first to shower and due to the bath not being cleaned properly (we later discovered there was oil residue left in the tub) he slipped and fell and hit his head. It could have been much worse had one of us not been there to help. The fixtures were mildewed and rusted. The walls are terribly thin and we had some particularly loud neighbors (for hours) the first night that even our loud sound machine couldn’t muffle. We didn’t sleep great. The location is convenient by the station and some shopping but honestly that’s its only redeeming quality.

- Shimako (10/5): Cozy and comfortable hotel - The hotel is situated a few minutes away from the station and there is a community support police office (kohban) in front of the hotel! There are lots of shops including a big super market, restaurants and bars near by but quiet at night. The hotel is cozy and staff are very friendly and helpful.

- julior997 (10/5): A Pleasure Room - I stayed at the JR-EAST HOTEL METS MUSASHISAKAI for two nights. The staff was beyond helpful. It was my first time in Tokio and I couldn’t stay in a better place. The room was clean. I loved the bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I would certainly stay in this place again. Also the area has many good places to eat. Big thumbs up.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Awkward check-in and check-out - Hotel is comfortable and conveniently located, very close to the JR station. Two things I did not like at all: 1. I arrived at the hotel around 2PM, they checked me in but informed me that I will have access to the room only as of 3PM, their official check-in time. Many hotels have official check-in times, but if the room is available, they let the customers in earlier. The room was available, as they told me that if I wanted to enter it earlier, then this would have cost me 1000YEN. For an international traveller, who has been travelling for ~20h, I found this rather unfriendly. Second thing: on the last day I checked-out at 11AM, according to the hotel rule. I then asked if I could stay some extra 10-15min in the hotel lobby (usually one does not even have to ask for that) which at that time was being cleaned. First they said yes, but after 2-3 minutes they came to me and asked me to leave, because of the ongoing cleaning process. This was the first time I was "kicked out" of an hotel ... I did not find this very friendly either.

- Don (10/5): Great hotel in Musashisakai - The hotel location is a little outside of central Tokyo, but it is very close to the train station, which is on the very convenient Chuo central line.Everything about the hotel was great - the staff, service, etc. We were very close to the train tracks, but could barely hear the train. We were also able to get a room for 3 people. Highly recommended if you prefer an area that's not so crowded, but still convenient to central Tokyo.
