- thomasdB5664RQ (10/5): Five Stars - Close to Tokyo Disneyland - Highly Reccomend! - We absolutely loved our stay at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel! The just a quick 2-3 minute walk to the entrance to Tokyo Disneyland. We loved being so close to the park. The bell staff were fantastic and very helpful with our numerous bags. Check-in was quick and enjoyable. We were luckily assigned a room facing the park and loved being able to see the crowds and hear the music. Rooms were large and well maintained. We personally loved the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel branded amenity kits, toothbrushes, slippers, mini tote bag, and pajamas that were complimentary. The hotel features a convenience store on the ground floor selling snacks and drinks as well as a store selling Disney merchandise. There are several items that are unique to the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel store including a plush of Mickey Mouse dressed in the hotel uniform, pillows, and tea towels. There is also an exclusive Tokyo Disneyland Hotel tote bag that you have to be staying at the hotel to purchase (We thought it was adorable and being big Disney fans we had to purchase it!). We personally loved the ability to leave our luggage in the room on the day we checked out and have the bell staff collect it later (There was an option on the TV to select this) - It made our last day in the park so much less stressful. We cannot recommend this hotel enough! We've stayed at numerous Disney hotels while visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland and the service, theming, and appearance of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is far superior to anything we've experienced at a Disney Hotel previously. We can't wait to take our next trip to Tokyo Disneyland and will definitely be staying at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

- 21wlauren (8/5): Magical - The service is 5 star. You can’t get a better position in relation to the park entry. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Sherwood Garden buffet. The room was really well maintained and clean. Only thing is I wish is the bed wasn’t so firm. I loved all the Disney details from the moment you step in the foyer to the balcony of my room.

- JustM (10/5): Perfect stay - This hotel is spot on for location, Easy access to the park but also to the monorail. Great shops onsite and fabulous large, immaculately clean rooms with great amenities. Staff were lovely. Best thing is transferring your luggage for free from hotel to hotel in the Disney brand. At night this hotel glows warmly and it’s a real joy to see. The theming inside the lobby provided so much to look at and great spaces to look around and immerse yourself into the whole Disney experience. Lots of seating in the lobby and definitely worth the stay.

- 13ellezee (10/5): Absolutely Worth the Cost : Total Love! - I loved this hotel so much! It is really gorgeous. I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to use all of the amenities and facilities (like the pool), but the one night I stayed was amazing! It's a pricey hotel but I think it is a very good value. It's so beautiful and so comfortable, and of course, the location is fantastic. My room was adorable and spacious. The window opened for fresh air, there were plenty of outlets, a pretty reading nook, a convenient vanity table and mirror, pretty carpet, and fun amenities in the room. The heating and cooling system worked well and was quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the room (and the whole hotel) was very clean. The housecleaning staff are dressed like Victorian house maids : very cute! Service was excellent, and so was the room service food, which came quickly and was delicious. I really have no negatives to say about this hotel. It's a splurge but totally worth it.
- TashCushla (10/5): Magical and memorable - We had the most wonderful time at this hotel, even better than we could have imagined. We stayed here for our daughter’s 5th birthday and so glad we did because they really went the extra mile for her, including a special birthday card signed from all the Disney characters. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including extras like bath bombs and pjs to wear during our stay. Getting the earlier access to Disneyland was incredible and we loved how close it was to the park. Highly recommend for a magical Disney experience

- Rachel91752 (8/5): Great stay - We stayed for two nights, once in a standard room and the other night in one with a park view. The room had everything you needed, beds were comfy and enjoyed the theming. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Check in was quick both times. The convenience store had plenty of options for breakfast as we only had it included one day. The breakfast at Sherwood Garden was ok, nothing special in my opinion but again lots of theming for Disney. Obviously being opposite the park is really convenient especially after a long day!

The room was decorated in Tinkerbell theme with lovely touches and well stocked with toiletries, Disney items etc. There is a convenience store located in the hotel which is super handy for picking up supplies especially if you want to queue up early. The location was great for Disneyland as right opposite the main entrance.

- 333laylaa (10/5): Truly magical hotel - As you can imagine lots of Disney pictures statues and features in and around the hotel and it’s grounds . Huge lobby , welcoming staff great sized bedroom . Bedroom offers pyjamas and amenities to take as well as tote bags . Very useful we used these at the park for our drinks . We were a party of 3 . 3rd Bed pulls out underneath the bed . Very easy to use . Buffet style breakfast which had quite a few choices of hot and cold items. By staying at the hotel you get to enter the park 15 minutes before everyone else which isn’t a huge advantage considering the queues ! Although it was extremely hot there are queues for everything in June !

The concierge itself was on the main level, 5 floors below our rooms. It was only opened some hours, and only offered some drinks like juice and tea. Concierge check-in was a joke. After filling out our paper work we were told to vacate the concierge lounge until 3 pm check in. Room service…completely inadequate. Offered only at some hours. Extremely limited fixed menu, no ala carte. And, unbelievably, often shut down saying they were maxed out with orders. No morning coffee…no continental breakfast…etc. Finally, fair warning, although the staff is pleasant, their competency in English is disappointing. Yes, I know we are in Japan, but we are also staying at an internationally marketed resort.

We used the Disney luggage transfer/storage - flawless! The breakfast buffet was very good, we reserved through the app. We got the 3 bed Beauty & The Beast room and it was huge. Bathroom was nice, separate toilet, sink area and shower/bath/wet room. Great amenities. Recommend.

The room in itself is nothing short of a Classic.The room is intricately decorated with disney theme of tinker bell. The art work, the concept and the execution of the concept is genuinely novel and praiseworthy in every which way. Staying in this room is like living in disney story. The hotel is bang opposite the entrance of Disneyland. For the disney sea experience, a paid shuttle is available throughout the day of the operating hours.
- HLinkowich (10/5): Perfect Stay Close to Disneyland Park! - We stayed at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel for one night, our last night in Tokyo. Upon arrival at 11 am, our room wasn’t ready yet, so our bags were stored with no problem at the bell desk while we enjoyed the park. Midday, we were tired from traveling from Kyoto that morning, so we went back to our room for an hour after check in time and our bags were already there. It was so nice to have the park be so close to the hotel to easily go in and out. We booked a family room, park view 7-9th floor and got the 9th floor overlooking the castle. It was beautiful and quiet. The rooms had 2 alcove beds and 1 trundle bed, perfect for our kids ages 16, 14, 10 and 2 additional beds for us. The rooms were clean and we loved the pajamas, slippers, and amenities. It also had 2 bathrooms which was very helpful for a family of 5. The next morning, we checked our bags while we enjoyed DisneySea with no problems. It was a great stay. Highly recommend!
- FJFANFORLIFE2016 (10/5): 500/5 stars - I would’ve given this hotel 500 stars but only 5 were available. You won’t believe how good it was. We came here with my two daughters and my mom over March break, at the tail end of an incredible first time in Japan. Are we coming back? Absolutely. We stayed in a Tinkerbell themed room and it was charming and great. I am a total princess and I slept on the trundle bed and it was perfectly comfortable. My daughters loved their beds and my mom fit perfectly on the little couch. The amenities are well documented and the rooms. The staff are friendly and highly competent. My only suggestion would be clearer communication about luggage storage (when to drop it off, whose job it is to come pick it up/drop it off) between guests and among staff. Anyways here’s the 500/5 rating. I left a huge diamond necklace in the bathroom and only realized it the evening after check out, at a different hotel. I called the hotel and with the help of the in-house translator, my necklace was found (maybe 5 minutes of wait time, translator finding, explanation of what happened) and it had been recently returned by housekeeping. This was a 2 karat solitaire. I cannot stress how pleasantly shocked I am that some incredible staff member turned it in - God bless him or her. I was flying out the next day and picked it up at front desk on the way to the airport. 500/5 stars.
- MissAtlas (8/5): Convenient location - Tokyo Disneyland Hotel ( TDH) Convenient location for Disney Upon arrival the staff were very confused about our reservation, going through their notes outside the front entrance of the hotel ( in the freezing cold!) Not what we needed after a long 10 hour flight and a one hour taxi ride to the hotel! Spoken English is very scarce with the staff here. We of course try and speak Japanese,but for a Disney hotel full of worldwide guests, it really would be helpful to have staff that speak good English. The check in line inside was busy, but Depending on your room type and package There is a small club lounge where you can check in which serves drinks and has seats, so since we were eligible with our room this was much better and we were directed there once they found our reservation. The whole check in progress was difficult due to the language barriers again, thank goodness we had Google translate to help. It still took a really really long time. Also No one offered us any information about the hotel facilities, restaurants within the hotel, the monorail, park ticket options and packages for the rides. It was very very challenging. They simply did not have the language skills, even printed paper with all of this on would be really useful. By the time we managed to be heading to our rooms. It was pretty late and I asked one of the staff where can we eat dinner and they finally managed to tell us that the buffet restaurant Sherwood Garden restaurant was the only thing available and would be closing in 20 minutes. So we ran down there quickly. The food in the Sherwood Garden restaurant is poor quality for a hotel of this rating. Very basic selections and overall quality. The same for breakfast which was also served there. So we only went once in our 4 night stay. Our absolute lifesaver was the restaurants at IKSPIARI shopping mall nearby which you can take the Disney monorail to get to from TDH. Here there are lots of varied types of restaurants, better quality food, and fast foods like Starbucks and Mc Donald’s and a big supermarket in the basement. The Disney monorail, which stops right at the TDH hotel, requires paid tickets. It is by far the best way to get back and forth from Disneyland and DisneySea. Also IKSPIARI. The tickets are purchased at the monorail station. We bought a 3 day pass knowing that we’d be going to Disney Sea and IKSPIARI again and again for food, so more economical than a day ticket. There are 4 stops on the monorail each takes approx 3 minutes. For IKSPIARI, get off the monorail at the RESORT GATEWAY station- this same station also joins with JR Maihama station, where you can get National Japan trains. Our Magic Kingdom suite was spacious with lovely views of the park entrance and Disney castle. The room was very clean and had good quality amenities,but well worn and old fashioned interiors.The whole hotel is very dated and would benefit from a refit. A plus point is there is a convenience shop inside the hotel selling food, drinks snacks & Knick knacks. There is also a self laundry, with around 10 coin operated machines & dryers. Other points ..Very comfy beds and a lovely duvet, clean pyjamas provided daily. In MK suites you get an Extra single bed in next door lounge area for a child or additional adult plus there is also a sofa bed in lounge so good for families. In the parks, the cast members are very attentive, but again not much English spoken anywhere. If needed, you can hire a wheelchair or baby buggy at the entrance to the park. Disney hotels are always expensive but usually for that cost you feel that you get a lot of excellent services and extras. There are usually Disney characters at the breakfast too and the service is outstanding, but honestly, that was not the case here I would say that unless you truly need the doorstep Location stay at another hotel Nearby and pay far less, then just hop on a train to the parks. Finally, I’ve also noticed that no management from TDH never respond to any of the reviews here on TripAdvisor !
- sgka1234 (8/5): Beautiful hotel, early morning access to Tokyo Disneyland not for Disney Sea. - The hotel is beautiful. We were travel with our adult daughter. Originally we had reserved the Superior Alcove Room but, it was hard to tell if our daughter could fit in the alcove bed. So, to err on the side of caution, we moved to the Junior Family Room. That room is huge, even by western standards. The upgrade was hefty, but well worth it. You had a trundle bed on top of the three beds and you probably could have another bed brought up if you had another child. Our oldest daughter and her husband were in the Superior Alcove Room. Our youngest daughter who was staying with us tried the Alcove bed and it fit her, with extra leg room as well. She’s 5’7. It also has a trundle bed too. So, we problem could have stayed with our first reservation, but the extra space in the Jr. Family Room was a welcome sight after a long day at the Park. A few things that I wasn’t overly happy with was, first, the morning buffet was not very good at all. I had a modest expectation, but, it fell short. It was underwhelming. Second, staying at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel only gets you in to their early morning access to the Disneyland Park and not the Disney Sea Park. Very disappointing. For the amount of money you pay to stay at the hotel, at least you should be able to have access to both Parks early entry. Finally, although I know we are in Japan, the lack of staff able to speak English, was disappointing. Now… by no means do I expect all the staff to be proficient in English, gosh knows I’m not in Japanese, but when your in the business of hospitality, you should have at least one staff member who can speak English on each shift in the hotel. Especially for questions or concerns. Now, with that said, I’d stay at the hotel again. If anything just for the convenience.

However, the hotel is pricey and in my opinion doesn’t offer good value for money. There’s no place to buy a simple coffee, and if you expect to communicate easily in English, be prepared for a challenge, as the staff barely know the basics.
- Christina (10/5): Vacation dream come true - A dream come true! I was so lucky to find a room listed on hotels.com. This was my first time staying at a Disney hotel because I cannot justify prices that American parks charge. This hotel was perfect in every way. Room had ample space for family of 5. It’s a 3 min walk across the courtyard to the Disneyland gates Easy to return to room for afternoon break.You will also receive 15 mins early entry. This made the all the difference. We rope dropped Beauty and the Beast, while en route I was able to get DPA passes to ride it again at 5pm. Sherwood Garden buffet was a great bonus. Everyone found something they wanted to eat. If you can afford it you must stay here.
- LaurettaViaggia (10/5): Great for Families! - We loved our stay at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel ("TDH"). We were considering this or the Miracosta for our stay because we wanted to be right next to one of the parks and we wanted the Happy 15 for both parks--please note that this perk is very fluid: you must check the website for your dates to confirm if your hotel will be offering it. We went a couple of days before Fantasy Springs opened so TDH had Happy 15 for both parks but I believe that changed in the week following our stay. Miracosta obviously has a huge bonus in terms of its location within Disney Sea, but I'll discuss why TDH was the better choice for us on this trip. We decided on the TDH because we liked the space that the Cinderella Room offers. It is basically a suite at a lower price point. The room was so beautiful, and I loved that you can walk out your room and see the incredible lobby. This resort is superior for families in my opinion because: (1) there is coin operated laundry onsite (Miracosta doesn't have ; Toy Story and Ambassador do); (2) it has mini-grocery store onsite where you can get snacks and essentials (Miracosta doesn't have this but you can go to Ikspiari via Monorail); and (3) the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located onsite. The service was top notch at the hotel and it felt like a true "luxury" hotel.

- NovaDBear (10/5): Nice! - Tokyo Disneyland Hotel may be my favourite hotel in the world. The decor and theming is UNREAL!!!! We have stayed in both the Tinkerbell room as well as the Cinderella room and both are amazing! The small details in the walls, furniture, floors blow me away. Both rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I LOVE how this hotel separates the toilet room from the shower/bath. The pajamas, slippers, and amenities are also unmatched. The staff at Tokyo Disneyland hotel are also extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast buffet here may have been my favourite meal during the trip, which given how good the food across Japan is says a lot!!!! Far exceeded expectations!!!!! If I had to come up with a complaint it would be that on our most recent visit they were no longer giving happy entry to DisneySea, which I feel is one of the biggest perks of staying at a Disneyland hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I would stay in this whole the rest of my life if I could. 10/10

- Cheri (2/5): Don't waste your time buying their trip insurance - I attempted to cancel my stay within hours after the cutoff time (Japanese local time vs US local time discrepancy) due to an unforeseen and ongoing medical issue and was told I couldn't cancel. The trip was insured through their site, so I contacted the insurance provider and was given the run around and then ignored. I will be complaining to Disney, Hotels.com, and the State of Washington Insurance Commissioner. Why is it so hard to do right by people??
- dozzam (6/5): It was ok to stay - We paid for its convenient location and that’s about it. The check in line was massive and we have to wait for a while. Our room was a little walk from the lift/lobby area,The room was clean but well worn. Plus point is the self laundry, but you have to time it as it is always busy. Unless you desperate otherwise don’t bother to use room service, I ordered savoury rice porridge and it took nearly 90mins to arrive. For 1800 yen, you only get a small bowl of rice with sprinkle of plum salt and Japanese pickles. Overall, if you are the first timer who loves the Disney theme hotel then this could be a good choice.

- Adv4Me (8/5): Disney App and Happy Entry - Convenient to Disneyland theme park. The 15 minute early access was helpful. Two days max at each of the two theme parks. Would do two nights at Disney Ambassador (Mira Costa) for Disney Sea early access followed by two nights at Disneyland hotel. Disney offers luggage transfers between hotels. Pro for staying at Disney Ambassador hotel over MiraCosta is the shops and restaurants at Ikspiari nearby. More varied types of restaurants, better quality food, and less expensive at Ikspiari. Free shuttle service from Ambassador to theme parks. Limousine bus service from hotel to airport was easy (2,300 Yen per adult). Pickup for Disneyland hotel on left side once you exit the lobby area on the third floor.

I paid RM2600 per night for a hotel without breakfast & without shuttle to nearest station. Hotel is unsecured because the lift allowed anyone to enter to your floor. Staff has poor English control. Room is spacious and i stayed in a corner room. Bed and pillow were average. Not much to view as the room is facing the Disney line but able to see the fireworks. I do not recommend anyone to stay except for the happy entry to skip the queue.

They allow you to check in and bring your bags to your room for your check in time (3pm) when you can access your room, so that you can enjoy the park all morning! It is directly across from Disneyland and also across from the monorail. The decorations within the hotel are excellent! They provide tons of amenities/souvenirs in the room to take home! The only bad things I have to say are that the rooms could use a deep clean. There was dust and dirt on all the baseboards and such throughout the room. The toilet room also had an odor. Overall it was a great stay.

It has everything you want: easy access to Tokyo Disneyland and the train, walking path to the shopping district, great amenities in the room, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Out of all the hotels, this is the only one with things to do and see without going to the park. The gardens are beautiful to wander through, but also sit and relax. Our room had a view of Disneyland and the train, but it was never loud. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stay here for 5 nights and felt so comfortable. it’s just right across Tokyo Disneyland and for guests staying at this property, you get a happy entry pass which allows you to enter the park 15mins earlier than other guests. Worth it especially because you’ll be able to get to your first ride of choice before the crowds rush in. The amenities in our room were so cute and we love the rainfall style shower with the tub room. The room was definitely a lot bigger than we had expected especially for a room in Japan since some of the rooms at other hotels have been smaller.
