- Girish (10/5): Value for money, comfortable and highly recommend - Reached very late for check in. However, the hotel emailed me with detailed directions about where to collect the key etc. The room was clean, the bathroom too, bed was cosy and welcoming. The hotel is close enough for having a bite at night. I didn't get an opportunity to explore Bournemouth but noticed that the beach is only a kilometre away. The only thing I would suggest is to have some glasses in the room to allow guests to drink water from the tap. (The room even had a fridge which I didn't need!). There was enough tea and coffee for the single night I stayed

- Karen (6/5): If returning I'd book again. - The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly, the hotel was clean which is the main thing, but a bit dated. We were put in a family room, (walls were very thin, will leave that to your imagination). Overall clean, friendly, good location, all that you want to be guaranteed of.
- kamhar (4/5): Disappointed. - Carpets were dirty and the room handles and remote control didnt feel sanitary. Strong dirty toilet odour affected my whole room and night sleep on overnight stay even with door closed and toilet seat down.Toilet had obviously not been cleaned with bleach. Overall the experience did not feel sanitary which made overnight stay unpleasant. Staff were polite. Although there is kettle and free tea/coffee in rooms it didnt feel clean enough to risk using so got coffee from vend machine which cost 5.00 for emergency use. Location is reasonable. I would rate this as a 2 star hotel. I definatly couldnt stay here again so rated experience disappointing but hotel staff were obviously lovely people. I regret not letting reception know as im sure bleach put in toilet would have resolved issue but point is standards could be higher.
- Barrie (8/5): - The Piccadilly is a very clean and well maintained property, if there is any negatives it’s that there is no housekeeping during your stay. We weren’t made aware of this until after we booked. We had a room overlooking the main road, apart from the odd noisy motorbike going passed there was a lot of noise coming from the hotel next door, I maybe mistaken however it seemed that it was being used for asylum seekers. It was very noisy at times. The room was extremely clean as was the bathroom, bed was quite snug with not much room to get out of bed but otherwise a pleasant experience.

- Janet (6/5): - This is a basic, economy hotel that was clean and tidy in its public areas. The room was a good size with basic facilities (with a double bunk bed as well as double bed) and a clean bathroom. However the room had a pervasive unpleasant odour which I did report to reception. A good carpet clean is needed. It may have been rancid milk as it was strongest by the freestanding fridge in the room.

- Adrian (8/5): Great staff, but some things just ok. - Worked hard to get me into my room ahead of formal check in time. No lifts in this property but front desk staff took up my main suitcase. Just one example of superior service by this team. Stayed 5 days, housekeeping done well but on exception basis e.g. if wanted more tea/coffee supplied good quantity but room not cleaned daily. Room was decent size by UK standards, good bed and shower. Older property so not sound proofed to modern standards. Double glazing did good job of shutting out external noise but could hear people talking normally, coughing in adjacent room. Location is good with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Found good coin laundry about 5 minute walk away. No breakfast, bar available but desk recommended nearby places. There were vending machines offering snacks and drinks. Downhill walk to beach and town centre.
- Darren (8/5): Good Hotel good location - Although we weren't in the hotel that long, we found our room to be clean, and comfortable, nice bed, think it was an old mattress with a topper on which didn't matter to us, we both slept like logs, so well we slept in and missed the park run on Saturday morning. Parking was 10 which cheaper than some, still prefer it to be free though, but Bournemouth is expensive to park.
- Gaurav (8/5): Good Experience - We stayed here for a couple of nights. Room was decent size, location is quite good. Bournemouth beach and Pier is about 10-12 mins walk. Room was generally clean. Paid ÂŁ10/day for on-site parking.

Furniture supposedly new but the mattress was terrible, old and springs poking out, so they had attempted to mask with a foam sheet over it. As I have a bad back it was a terrible nights sleep. We had an economy room, but the toilet was especially cramped and there was no shower curtain meaning water got everywhere. Definitely no frills experience

Room was clean and cute overall a nice stay - wish we could of got a nice front window view and free parking Otherwise good stay will definitely recommend this hotel and return The front desk lady camilla was fantastic at helping us
- R (4/5): Disappointed - I found the hotel tired. The room was not very clean , my partner and I both got bitten by either fleas or bed bugs. The toilet barely flushed the tiles on the floor were broken and moving. I am used to paying a good price for a good room so I am amazed that they can charge this much for so little and so tired and unclean!!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Will stay again - The corridors are a little tired looking, but I can't fault the room, clean and airy with a modern bathroom. Good shower, soap in dispensers so no wasted packets. Giant fridge in the room, which is always a welcome surprise. Friendly and efficient check in and out. Room key card was obviously recycled as it was quite grubby. Made me want to sanitise it!
- Victoria (8/5): Nice find 10 mins from the beach - Very friendly and helpful staff, even before we checked in. Rooms were basic but for a beach getaway we only needed somewhere to sleep so was fine. The beds were not particularly comfortable, one in particular felt like springs were popping every time you moved. Also the blinds let in a lot of light around them so the rooms were very light very early.

- Jamie (8/5): Good enough but Not for Night Workers. - Good enough for a 1/2 day stay. 10am checkout time is simply too early. I work nighttime’s and wasn’t back to my room until 5am so as you can imagine my time to actually sleep was very limited. they do offer a late check out at £20 an hour which is a ridiculous price in all honesty. Some more well known chains offer a same service for less than half this price.

We also found the bed to be uncomfortable. We visited on a very hot day so was pleased to find our room had air conditioning:)
- Paul (10/5): Nice short break - We had a nice short break at this hotel, staff were welcoming & friendly, our room was a little on the small side but nice & clean. Hotel was in a good central location for the town, so we didn’t have to use the car, which was great.
