- Adam (7/5): Overnighter near Oban - The room was clean and comfortable if somewhat small. Staff made us feel welcome on arrival and departure. Good restaurant onsite and good food. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of options. Free onsite parking. The view from our window over the car park and industrial units was awful (just saying). Some of the breakfast room staff were clearly not happy working there - it showed!

The view from our room overlooked a garden, in which 3 tanks - 2 Calor and 1? - were situated. Could they be enclosed in an open topped wooden structure, or at least the sides facing the rooms? There is also a breeze block wall visible, which could be covered up with trellis and climbing plants perhaps.

Asked for a packed breakfast because I was leaving early to catch the Ferry, but it was not left outside my room as promised. We had dinner in the bistro which had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Breakfast was lovely too. All staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
- Louise (1/5): Don't waste your money on a "Deluxe" room - it doesn't exist. - Most of the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful apart from 3 individuals we had the unpleasant experience of meeting. Overall this stay did not represent the quality, value, or standard of service that was advertised. I hope these concerns will be taken seriously by Booking.com and reviewed properly, both in response to my experience and to prevent similar disappointments for future guests. I was also disappointed by the lack of accountability shown when service issues arose. Rather than addressing the problem directly and professionally, responsibility appeared to be shifted back onto the guest, which only added to the frustration.

The restaurant food was very good as was breakfast. The room was clean. The room was quite small and looked a little 'tired' and in need of an upgrade in my opinion.

- Wouter (9/5): Heerlijk - Een geweldig mooi pand (zowel binnen als buiten), prima restaurant en bar. Als de zon schijnt kun je in de namiddag/vroege avond heerlijk op het terras voor het hotel genieten van een drankje. Wij hadden een kamer in de aanbouw. Het was een prima prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Als je iets meer wilt besteden, is het aan te raden een mooiere kamer in het oorspronkelijke gebouw te nemen. Oban ligt op een kwartiertje rijden, dus dit hotel is een prima uitvalsbasis.

Klucze czekały na nas w recepcji. Bardzo miły barman serwował nam drinki choć było już późno i byliśmy jedynymi gośćmi w barze. Wieczór spędziliśmy w towarzystwie wspaniałego Alistaira, który opowiedział nam bardzo wiele na temat Szkocji, kultury, historii i zwyczajów. Wyjątkowy człowiek. Miejsce jest niesamowite pod każdym względem. Lokalizacja (zaledwie 2h od Glasgow), wnętrza, design, historia łączy się tu z nowoczesnością. Byliśmy pod ogromnym wrażeniem baru, niesamowite miejsce. Pokoje bardzo czyste, z pięknym widokiem. Śniadanie było podane w pięknym stylu, polecam nie tylko B.E.S.T., ale i śledzia 'kipper'. Dzięki Pani która serwowała nam śniadanie pojechaliśmy do Luss w drodze do Glasgow, urocze i wyjątkowe miejsce, dziękujemy.

- Moira (9/5): Warm friendly Scottish hotel - Very welcoming friendly and exceptionally clean hotel. Lovely table by the window to admire the view at breakfast. Perhaps a light screen on the window in our room for more privacy but just a minor detail. It was a lovely visit.

- Alex (8/5): Solides Hotel für Zwischenstopp, gern auch mehrere Tage. - Super Lage, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Hotel ist authentisch und sehr ruhige Umgebung, konnten sogar die Vögel zwitschern hören. Super Personal beim Frühstück. Das Frühstück war eher lieblos, dafür aber nicht das Personal!
- valerie (10/5): Magnifique 🤩 - Super emplacement, à 100m de la gare, à 50m du bras de mer. Chambre vue mer, propre, belle vue et bon matelas. Le resto de l'hôtel, mérite le détour : son chef, Alistair prépare des petits plats délicieux. Cerise sur le gâteau une cheminée centrale dans une ambiance cosy et traditionnelle, et bien sûr un grand merci à Sofian pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Une vraie bonne adresse! Good to have free parking included. The walk through the gardens down to the shore was very relaxing too. All good!
