- Stacie (9/5): A delightful, restful and delicious place to stay! - Our stay at Olivers Central Otaga was delightful, restful and delicious! David and Andrea are very gracious hosts which made our stay even more special. The most perfectly prepared dinner we had during our 3 week trip was in the restaurant of the hotel. We biked around the area for about 3 hours - also a gorgeous and fun time. Nothing

Very clean and spotless
- Dave Loomes (8/5): - We love the location . Breakfast is fantastic Yes . We had the last room available . Which was two single beds . Fair enough . But this was too expensive for a very small room $360 . It wasn't the normal room we have stayed in the past .It probably should have even explained better.
- Lynette (10/5): -

- Graham (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Clyde - We stayed in the ‘Tack Room’, one of the converted stables room, small but very cosy and well equipped and with a very comfy bed. We could use other rooms and outdoor space for reading and relaxation, and the whole building was a model of tasteful renovation. Our host was really friendly and provided a lovely breakfast. We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay and food / service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and we rather sorry to move on. Nothing of significance
- Lodovico (10/5): Could have stayed longer :) - Probably one of the best places we stayed this trip, amazing historical property, Location, warm and welcoming proprietor
great breakfast, location can't think anything
- Peter (9/5): Great accomodation in a lovely town. Highly recommended. - Host was very friendly and helpful throiughout our stay. Room was very nice, bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was a good size, towels were large and thick. No TV in the room, but really didn’t matter. The cinema is across the street so we went to the movies one night instead.

Utterly brilliant contribution to NZ’s past and a fantastic contribution to today’s tourist industry. A great place to stay in magnificent comfort and luxury. There was nothing to dislike, it was brilliant.

- Bob and Sandi (10/5): We had a wonderful 3 day stay with Andy and David. They are amazing hosts who go out of their way to make your stay enjo - Like stepping back in time… Elegant… immaculate
- Richard (10/5): A great place to stay in a pretty town. - Very good Location - setting of the rooms.
- Sharon (8/5): - Liked the garden in the courtyard. Lovely breakfast. Ideal for a finish to the Otago cycle rail trail. Unable to get a reservation for dinner, you would think paying that much for a room would guarantee a table for 2. Extremely noisy room from the bar at night up until 11pm. No air con or fan to cool the room. Very dusty, .all cobwebs & dust around the in room bath & somebody elses hairbrush left under the bed, inadequate cleanliness. Felt it was almost Winter decor (sheepskin bed throw, dusty antique ice skates hung on wall ) and very dark lighting, also strange for the death of Nelson to be the chosen print on the wall too! All in all a poor show for the cost, left feeling very disappointed.
- Anna (10/5): It was excellent … - Loved the breakfast, it was excellent.
- Anna (9/5): -

- robyn (8/5): - Fabulous old cottage style accommodation, beautiful garden. Extremely considerate hosts. Same breakfast every day, although it was delicious a little variation on a 4 night stay would be better.
- Karen (10/5): -
- Warren (8/5): -
- Jeffrey (8/5): We had an enjoyable stay in Clyde! - Great location, and fantastic breakfast. Room in shared courtyard didn’t feel completely private but it was still a very good stay.

- Dean (10/5): Excellent service and greeted by owners. Rooms were first rate, very clean and quality high. - Incredible breakfast choice
Nothing

- Wan Yui (10/5): A very charming bed and breakfast! - Historic house with cozy rooms. Love the owner’s collection of books and maps around the house.
David and Andy were lovely and we really enjoyed the breakfast every morning.
Food at the restaurant beside it was also fantastic! Overall a great stay! Nothing.
- Amy (10/5): -
- Tonya (5/5): - Great location Noisy at night with compressor from next door bar going all night. Room was really small , no storage
- Lara (10/5): Amazing old world charm with modern amentities - We had an amazing 2 days at Olivers. The room was beautiful with lots of old touches. It was also very well appointed with lots of space and chairs. We were in a room at the very front of the house. It had a lovely big bathroom with a claw bath tub as well as shower, toilet vanity. It also had a great tea and coffee facilities as big plus for me who is a big tea drinker. You can make them in your room everything is provided including you can get a jug of milk anytime from the Kitchen. The Kitchen and dinning room is fantastic with tea, herbal and normal and coffee available to help your self whenever. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Lovely berries and apricots and homemade bread and baked eggs. Just a two min walk from room to main street and everything you need including Restaurants and cafes etc. Service and staff were excellent. Highly recommend. Couldn't fault it.
- Joanne (9/5): Living heritage - Beautifully appointed, nice breakfast in the lodge. Enjoyed the clawfoot bath and tea selection. Nice and quiet. Room was dusty. Disappointed that We couldn’t get a reservation for dinner onsite , being a small town there are limited options.
- Paul (10/5): outstanding - breakfast was fantastic very yummy and lots on offer the fact we couldnt stay longer great property and great hosts
- Nicole (10/5): -
- Katie (10/5): - We loved our stay at Olivers Central Otago. David and Andi were brilliant hosts and made us feel completely welcome. Clyde is an idyllic town and the perfect base for exploring Central Otago, with Bike It Now conveniently located just across the street.
The hotel’s dining space, with its rustic stone walls and 19th century decor, felt like stepping back in time. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend Olivers to anyone visiting the region.
- BMCT (9/5): -
- Dale (9/5): Conveniently located charming BnB. - Great location to access bike hire and trails. Friendly and professional staff. Rooms in keeping with the history of the area but still offering all the modern facilities. Tip: If it suits your budget, have dinner at Olivers restaurant. Delicious! It was all great.😊

- Jennifer (10/5): We loved our stay so much we will return and hopefully bring along a couple of friends to enjoy it as well! - We loved everything about this property. It was just luxurious, a gorgeous home and spectacular grounds. The bathroom was the best I have seen! Nothing
- janelle (8/5): - Fabulously comfortable bedding and cosy warm ensuite. Scrumptious fruit and museli for breakfast
- Joanne (10/5): Highly recommend - Everything was perfect, very luxurious. Loved the breakfast a lot of delicious homemade goodies. I wish I could have stayed longer 😆
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - Delightfully old world, but very comfortable and luxurious. The shower was modern day and excellent. The communal spaces were like being in a museum. The host David was most welcoming, and a great breakfast chef. Our dog was welcomed. I would recommend this just as an adventure. It was delightful. We have already recommended Oliver's to others.

It is in a lovely little village/town and has a centre location. Attached is a great restaurant and it is surrounded by quiet seating corners in a secluded walled garden - perfect for that cup of tea or cool white wine. Centrally located, cafe was also fantastic, as was Oliver’s restaurant. Owners, David and Andy were brilliant, as were all the staff. Nothing
