Guest Reviews
- steve (10/5): - We loved our stay in Mallorca at this hotel. It is very conveniently located on the main square. It's nothing fancy but the price to value ratio is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would stay there again.
- Katie (10/5): - Lovely stay, would recommend
- Diana (10/5): - A beautifully decorated and serviced hotel, part of the Daina hotel. Staff were amazing and the food delicious. The roof top terrace and plunge pool were absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend.
- John (8/5): - The hotel itself is very nicely fitted out very boho boutique relaxed and easy to chill and relax into holiday mode only 18 rooms a nice plunge
Pool on roof and the bar watering staff are immense so polite friendly and attentive always
However there are unfortunately things that have spoiled our stay !
1/ check in is not in the cultural boutique hotel it’s actually 100 yds away in hotel Daina the sister hotel so with luggage and if you arrive by cab or bus be prepared for the extra walk there an back! Nobody tells you this until you arrive
2/ on check in we found the member of staff very offish once she recognised our Expedia booking she was unhelpful on any queries
And also dismissive saying with body laungage and words speak to Expedia and say back in her chair - no no no you speak to Expedia actually!
3/ we went to pay the bill 1435 and the card machine rejected the card three times my card was locked ! My wife said can I try my Apple
Pay the reply was no Apple Pay.
I logged into online banking unlocked
My card tried again twice it failed !
I said can we pay one night to check in and then resolve in the morning her reply was no you pay
In full all booking you booked with Expedia you have to pay in full it’s the terms you read ! If you not pay you not stay !it’s full
Cancellation fee
I suggested another electronic payment device
And the payment went through without problem!
I’ll stay at the cultural boutique has been fantastic all of the staff apart from above
- Edward (10/5): - Small Hotel in the square. Rooftop plunge pool and Sundeck. Room with balcony overlooking square. Table service for breakfast. Friendly staff. Hotel central for everything, marina, restaurants, pine walk.
- Stephen Peter (10/5): - The staff particularly Elly were friendly professional and always went that bit extra to make our stay the best👍
- Monique (8/5): - Leuk hotel aan een gezellig plein
Lekker ontbijt
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Staff very friendly. Breakfast well prepared and plentiful.
Balcony room provided excellent chilling and sun trap.
- Irina (10/5): Super Lage - Die Rezeption ist im nahe liegendem Hotel Daina. Parkplätze gratis auf der Strasse. Sehr feines Essen im Hotelrestaurant.
- Rhiannon (10/5): Will be back - Perfect for a night or two stay. Rooms are clean and the restaurant and facilities are great. Staff are excellent
- Kate (10/5): Great hotel - We loved the hotel, its location, our room decor and the breakfast. Only thing we would say tarnished the stay was that we checked out on my birthday. The booking was in my name via hotels.com and even put it on the special requests to make sure the hotel knew and we didn’t even get so much as an acknowledgement of choosing to stay at your hotel for 3 nights for my birthday. Sad that the human touch was missed there by staff at all touch points throughout the stay.
- Rhiannon (6/5): Good value - Two single beds pushed together instead of a double. Would have more space if one double used. Very small room and bathroom space extremely slippy.
Communal areas were great and price was very good but could only do one night as too cramped for 2.
- Barry (10/5): Lovely hotel in a good location - Nice hotel on a great location, bit chilly for breakfast in the morning but cannot blame the weather on the hotel
- Terry (10/5): - just a nice boutique hotel and great location....we had one of the smaller rooms, but was perfect for the two of us. the bed, sheets and pillows were awesome
- William (10/5): - This is a really good price for the area where it is. The only slight criticism would be if you were an older person, when the bar area where the lift is located closes at 11.30pm you need to walk up a steep set of stairs to gain access to your room.
- Herbert (10/5): - Sehr schöne Zeit
- Verified traveler (10/5): 10/10 - Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, great food, clean, amazing location. 2 minute walk from the bus stop. Would recommend to anyone visit Port de Pollenca.
- XIONEL (10/5): - Lovely perfect place to stay! Martha at the front desk made us feel so welcome and accepted! housekeeping kept the place perfect everyday and Eli the restaurant ambassador was always happy and beautiful who made us feel so loved and fed well! Every detail to the room was delightful from the mirrors to the wood crafted handmade toilet seats. I could live in that room forever! View from the balcony was like from an ivory tower making you feel like a Pope or Princess! Was the best home away from home on our first vacation overseas together!
- Ainhoa Gorordo (8/5): - Todo genial.
- Ashleigh (10/5): - Lovely hotel, had a wonderful stay! Staff very nice and great atmosphere! Pool could be bigger (it’s probably smaller than the pictures) and you should go to breakfast earlier than 10am as it can get very busy and you can wait a long time (people did get up and leave). Would recommend and return ◡̈
- Jonathan (10/5): Cracking Little Hotel - Excellent little hotel in a fantastic part of the town. 1 minute from the beach and prom, and located on the town's square. Staff were ALL wonderfully helpful and friendly. Brekky was great. Had to check in at sister hotel Daina, 60 seconds away which isn't a problem. Only thing I would say is there can be a bit of night-time noise from the square as young people gather there. Didn't affect my wife but ear-plugs for me!! Rooms aren't massive but are perfectly OK with good bathroom/shower. All in all, great value for money and would have no hesitation going back
- Olivia (6/5): - The interior design was absolutely lovely and the rooftop facilities were stunning. The rooms were decorated nicely and the housekeeping was done every day.
- Margaret (10/5): - Lovely situation in the main square, friendly efficient staff
- Gary (10/5): Great authentic stay - Had a great time, location for us was fantastic as it is just off the front but in a lovely square with lots going on and felt very authentic.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Chambre un peu à l'étroit... Air climatisée déficiente malgré l'épisode de chaleur intense.
- Leonard (2/5): - It was closed but we were moved to a nicer hotel
- Lynn (10/5): - Beautifully presented, excellent breakfast and overall good experience.
- Donna (8/5): - Overall ambiance of the hotel was very charming. The staff were very attentive, hard working and friendly.
- Scott (6/5): Elevator issues - We checked in other hotel to get in, we got there late so main entrance was closed( major elevator is next to the restaurant & lobby area?) Next day the elevator didn’t work( waitress told us when rain comes then elevator has problem) We had to carry two bikes to bring it to our room. After checkout also we had to carry all the bags, bikes bring it down stairs. Breakfast was good and waters & waitress was great.
- Darran (10/5): - This property is fabulous. It is on the main square in Porto Pollença. There are several restaurants around it.
It is very stylish and has recently been refurbished
The breakfasts were excellent and it was clearly good as lots of non residents came for breakfast.
I will definitely be staying here again
- David (10/5): Grrat location and hotel - Last minute booking and it was better than we anticipated. Hotel staff were very friendly and understood the meaning of good service. Great stay and could not fault the hotel or staff. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in this hotel.
- Janice (4/5): - Hotel has been closed for a long period so we expected everything to be brand new. Apart from the bar, which is very nice, this was not the case. Lift was broken. Tiles on balcony floor were broken and dangerous. Single glazed original doors, which need painting, do not keep out on he noise which is considerable when the refuse is collected about 8.00am. Bathroom has no shelves for toiletries. Service at breakfast was considerably slow. We were first there one morning and waited 20mins for waiter to bring the coffee and a further 20 for food. There is a kettle in the room but only 1 teabag each. When I ask d the waiter for some more he said there were none. It’s a shame as this could be a great spot, but we won’t stay again.
- Susanne (8/5): Fin placering, service. Dårligt indrettet værelse - Dejlig placering, meget fin service. Men værelset småt - svært at bevæge sig rundt uden at støde ind i enten seng eller fjernsyn på væggen. Badeværelse ok.
MEGET forstyrrende larm hele natten fredag/lørdag.
- Junru (10/5): - Amazing staff!!!!!!
- alexandru (10/5): - Great place
- Juliette (8/5): Lovely holiday - Very comfortable large bed and good air conditioning. Staff friendly and very helpful, made our stay pleasurable. The central location is very convenient but can be a bit noisy at night. Pool on roof sun terrace is small but clean and breakfast very good.
- Mohamed (10/5): - Excellent
- William (8/5): - Central location, friendly staff.
- Frank (10/5): - Excellent location, spacious room and bathroom, friendly staff.
- SONIA Neva (8/5): - This is a great little hotel. It had recently been renovated and upgraded from a hostel, I believe. Our room (2 single beds which you could put together) wasn't huge, but it was perfect for my daughter and me for a week. The bathroom was clean, the beds comfortable, nice sheets and towels and a kettle with some tea and coffee-making kit. There was a mini fridge which was useful to keep water cold. Reasonable sized wardrobe with a few drawers built-in and a safe. There was very little noise from the street - the hotel is on the main - very attractive - square, but we did notice that the noise within the hotel, just from other rooms' doors closing etc, got a bit more as the week progressed, but it wasn't a big problem. There's a restaurant and terrace on the ground floor - all very attractive - and the staff were very nice and friendly. However there did seem to be some communication issues in terms of our breakfast order not getting through to the kitchen! I can speak Spanish and I heard our waiter pass on the order correctly, but then I didn't get what I'd ordered! I spoke to our waiter and he said that it was proving to be difficult to get consistent staff... The hotel is within walking distance of all the local shops, bars and restaurants and the famous beaches and pine walk. All in all, this hotel was ideal for a relaxed week in the sun!
- Kevin (8/5): - Newly renovated hotel, owned by hoposa hotel group check in at daina hotel 75 yards away. We stayed in a standard double room, which was very good on b b basis.our room overlooked the square. There is clearly more renovations to do but it didn't spoil our stay, don't worry your not going to a building site
. Roof terrace for sunbathing and a plunge pool when it gets a bit hot. All the staff are i would say new but seem friendly enough. Service was a bit of hit and miss , it didn't bother us, but slow service was evident . Why go digital order taking when a pen and paper is quicker, only seemed to be 1 person making drinks which also slowed things down. The rooms were cleaned daily, and had, kettle, hairdryer and safe at no extra cost, tv with good choice of English channels. No noise problems during our stay rooms are supposed to be sound proofed but balcony doors weren't. To sum up, i would stay here again its in a great location, close to beach and restaurants i think by the end of the holiday season the staff will be experts. One last point, they need to get bigger tea cups😁
..
- Paul (10/5): - Really wonderful hotel. Great facilities, great views and location is amazing.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Super Lage, nettes und freundliches Personal
