Guest Reviews
- Margo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nichole (2/5): - I booked this, called to verify and then showed up to no rooms available. Terrible experience on a work trip.
- Haseeb (2/5): - Denied to check in though we got confirmation mail.Staffs were unfriendly and dint give proper reason.
- Tomas (8/5): Very good -
- Beverly (1/5): You cancelled my stay and then kept my money! - Nothing. You cancelled my reservation the day before my business trip. I ended up booking elsewhere... for an extra 400$ that booking.com is not going to cover. Also: booking.com said they would reimburse for the cancelled and prepaid stay at Camlin, but they have not done so yet. I am honestly very frustrated and currently out of pocket about a grand.
- Ronald (10/5): - walking distance to Market
- Darcy (8/5): - Good hotel, the price was good.
- Michael (10/5): - The price in comparison to other hotels in the area so close to main attractions
- NELSON (8/5): - This was a great Hotel. I gave it a four because the cell signal was awful and they charge you for the internet. I was on the six floor by a window and one bar was coming through.
- Renee (2/5): - When we arrived at 12:30am we were informed they were overbooked by 6 rooms and that our booking agency had cancelled our reservation. We had to find a new place to stay, dragging our luggage through downtown at 1:00am.
We had confirmed this stay less than 4 days in advance. We were told there would be no issue checking in after midnight.
- Raymond (2/5): - We were shocked that when we landed in Seattle and took our phone off airplane mode we had an email saying our reservation was cancelled and to get in contact with Expedia. Even though we had prepaid for our stay at this hotel.
Apparently, this property can cancel a prepaid booking. Expedia was very helpful assisting us in securing a hotel that met our requirements and took care of any additional costs for the new hotel. This did however take roughly an hour to get resolved. After a long day of travel we really just wanted to get to our room.
Support from Expedia was excellent.
- wendy (4/5): - the room was small and bed was a pull out from the wall very low to the ground.
Timeshare set very pushy and time consuming
- Tanya (8/5): - Room was very small for a studio, no room at all after pulling down. from the wall…
- Yoran (10/5): - I loved the wristband key and the vibe of the hotel.
- Mubarak (10/5): - Location
- Gerry (10/5): - I Reserved a room for my daughter and her boyfriend who were visiting from Mexico and they said the Murphy bed was kind of strange as most hotels don’t usually have them. But they loved the hot tub.
- Denise (8/5): - A really nice job of renovating this older hotel. Missing the Cloud Room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Very aggressive worldmark employees, yelling at me to come to their sales desk and when i declined, a salesman followed me to the elevator. Very noisy due to construction across the street and when I arrived on a rainy night, the doorman was no where in sight. I had to carry my luggage up stairs.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There is a giant construction site directly across the street from this hotel, which should be disclosed to people who book here. The noise is constant, including on Saturday. When I checked in, there were no rooms available on the side of the building away from the construction. In addition, people should be aware that this is a time-share operation which happens to rent some rooms as hotel rooms. There are few of the services one would expect from a large hotel (no restaurant, no housekeeping). The studio rooms are tiny, with murphy beds. And finally, there are "concierges" who "greet" guests immediately after registration and push their "free" breakfast or lunch plus pitch to buy into the timeshare operation. They're quite aggressive, but do take no for an answer.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Even McDonalds has free wi-fi, why not the Camlin. It sure wasn’t clear from the website that parking would not be included.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 1. This property is a time-share, but it appears on Expedia as a hotel. I was asked several times to attend a presentation about timeshares with WorldMark.
2. The room was a small studio with a kitchenette. The pull-down double bed occupied most of the living room. The bathroom is so small there was no room to lay out toiletries.
3. The location is close to downtown and Westlake shopping area. The price was a good value for the location.
