- Tianjiao (10/5): Great stay at a classic hotel with top service and quality in details - It’s not those types of top new fancy hotel but old time style classic hotel with new renovation. All the details are very well managed. The supplies they put in the room were also very well thought. One example: the paper tissue they provide are 4 layers good quality ones! There you can see their focus on quality service from details. I loved the stay, very comfortable, and actually it’s already my second time back to KunMing staying there.

The room style is a bit dated and seem to have a whiff of smoke (there were ashtrays available). If you are sensitive to whether a room is strictly non-smoking, be aware. I could not figure out the temperature control or the wifi. Some staff were tentative or had issues conversing in English.

- Mark (8/5): A comfortable stay in Kunming city centre. - This is a comfortable hotel located in the central area of Kunming. It is quite a short walk to the nearest Metro station. The staff are kind and helpful. One of the receptionists ordered a coffee delivery from Starbucks for me on her own phone because the hotel restaurant only had instant coffee. It is located a little far from Old Kunming Street, which offers a better atmosphere and food options for the tourist. This hotel seems to appeal more to business guests than tourists.
