- Javier (8/5): Buen entorno y vistas - El hotel es una gran casa donde se aprovechan sus habitaciones. Tiene muy buenas vistas a la montaña aunque parece que los árboles han crecido mucho y tapan la vista. El personal apena habla inglés pero consigues hacerte entender y hacen lo posible por atenderte bien. El restaurante tiene buena comida. La zona está un poco alejada del centro, rodeada de casas y pisos viejos. Sorprende que el hotel esté bien cuidado. Para acceder a algunas habitaciones hay que subir y bajar escaleras por lo que si llevas maleta grande es un poco incómodo.

- haifa (9/5): - Everything is amazing, the owner is so helpful he gave us an upgraded room, also provided everything we asked for. The room is huge, with kitchen extra bed and so many sofas in the separate kitchen. Also they have a baby bed and shower things (if you have a baby) The restaurant food is the best in all Armenia(try their home-made wine), super yummy and clean with Jazz music with the best view ever ! There are so many places and sitting areas in the hotel we literally spent half a day there because it's super comfortable and beautiful! All the people working are so professional and helpful ! The only thing that I hated was the weird smell in the bathroom, if they can fix it, it will be a 10/10 . Unfortunately it's like this. Hoping they can work on it so I can come again !

Quiet location, the view from the balconies, room and restaurant is amazing. Very good breakfast helpful staff Overall enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and there are plenty of cozy areas both inside and outside the hotel where you can relax. All I can say is that if you’re looking to breathe in the fresh air of a majestic mountain, walk through a lovely little garden, and feel the warmth of being at home, don’t hesitate to book this hotel. - Liana (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend the place to people looking a nice and simple property to spen - The place is very quiet with pastoral views, perfect for getting out of the city noises and calming down. The rooms are clean so is the bathrooms. It’s a bit old vibe but we actually loved it. The restaurant is pretty good, we had there breakfasts and suppers and were satisfied by both. It’s located pretty far from the center so you always have to take a taxi to get anywhere.

Продавленное кресло, потрескавшийся стол, огромная бестолковая ванная комната (туда влезет слон, большое пустое пространство) с полукруглым душевым поддоном за занавеской. С завтрака мои мужчины ушли голодными (вообще не было мяса), омлет или глазунья, немного овощей, нарезка фруктов, тонюсенький ломтик масла на каждого. Единственное, что было превосходно - свежий хлеб (матнакаш). Семейный номер бестолковый. Прихожая + две комнаты (кухня-столовая и спальня, где 2-спальная кровать, детская кроватка и раскладной диван-кровать). Рассчитывала, что мы с мужем будем в одной комнате, а сын-подросток в другой, но так было невозможно.

We had breakfast and dinner. The bathrooms need a bit of maintenance. Our shower was leaking all over. Make sure to ask for the wine prices if you order wine as they are above the prices in other hotels that we visited.

- Wojciech (8/5): Very good - Beautiful views from the window and the terrace. Delicious breakfast. The hotel is located in the older part of Dilijan. There is a grocery store nearby. Breakfast is served from 9 AM, which might be a little late for those who prefer an early start to the day.

The bed was cozy. It was nice stay though. It was a bit cold, and the heating wasn't' t sufficient for that time of the year. The same in the restaurant was a bit cold as well.

The views from our room were breathtaking, I think it can compare to or even better than Switzerland. Also, there is a working fireplace and we ordered and bottle of wine from a wonderful lady by the name of Erica, the evening was magical. - Charlie (8/5): We loved our stay at this little hotel… and the food made it especially enjoyable! - This little hotel is just the type of place we like to support. It is quirky, clean, comfortable, affordable, the food is really delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is also slightly outside of town in a quiet area, and we visited towards the end of the season, so the hotel was nice and peaceful. The bed in our Jnr Suite was comfortable but very squeaky 🙈 This is not really a negative comment, but might be useful to guests planning your visit in the near future - there are some renovations going on, so if you are looking for silence, that’s not going to happen… but it is really lovely to see the hotel getting a facelift… good luck!

Staff always available and willing to help you on site (though little English is spoken). New room I got whose bed was super comfortable. Great views over the mountains from the central hall. Last but not least: plentiful and very good selection of items for the breakfast (starting at 9 AM). Proper heating in the room would be welcome in the near future (I got a small manual heater). Almost necessary to take a taxi to/from city centre or be prepared for a 40-min walk.

Service was hospitable. - Currently under some Refurb and a new Eating Area will be ready soon with spectacular views over the Mountains. Other upgrades are being made to add to the traditional ambiance offered at the Casanova Inn. It is currently having renovations and Building Materials block access. The online info states that there is a Sauna & Swimming Pool for Guests. This was not the case and we were informed that they would not be operational until the Ski Season. A Plug is required for the Sink in the Bathroom and there needs to be a Spare Toilet Roll left for guests.

- Irina (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed our stay at Casanova Inn. The staff were very friendly, including the owner, the breakfast was exceptionally good - we had never eaten pancakes that good! The rooms were clean, and the setting and the views from the balcony were exceptional. I left my phone in a taxi once on the way to the hotel and only noticed it when the taxi had left. The owner tracked down the taxi (I still don't know how!) and 30 minutes later the driver was there bringing my phone back! I will be forever grateful as it had photos of my children for the last few years.

- Ladislav (6/5): Nice place, but misleading room description and details - The house is very nice and there is a nice garden and a view from a shared terrace. The staff was friendly and there was a receptionist who could speak english well and helped us with ordering in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was delicious. I really don't like that you advertise the rooms as 'with balcony' when clearly the room has no balcony! As mentioned above, the hotel has a shared terrace and a shared balcony (which isn't the same thing as a room with balcony imho). Also, there is a couple of misleading icons when booking the room e.g. city view, mountain view, ... when the window is actually to the street and on a street level in a residential area. I think if the expectations were set right without misleading info, the experience would have been much nicer. And actually worth the money.

- Jalal (10/5): Absolutely fantastic and memorable stay! - We had such a lovely stay up here at the Casanova Hotel. It's located a short 10 minute taxi ride (always a Yandex available) from the center of town and is nestled alongside a beautiful hill and overlooks the mountains around Dilijan. The atmosphere here is so warm and cozy with a really cool 1930's mountain chalet vibe. Each morning there is a scrumptious breakfast with plenty of variety (and slight variations each morning). Then there is a restaurant which has a lovely menu with plenty of tasty options at reasonable prices for lunch and dinner. The staff are super lovely and accommodating. Special shout out to Vahan who has a heart of gold and speaks perfect English. Haik was also a champion and did a great job attending to our meals. We had a wonderful spacious and tidy room and were kindly upgraded as we arrived during a quiet period. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Dilijan to come and stay at the Casanova Hotel. You won't regret it!
