• Stidsen (6/5): Nice staff, a little dated. - The location was nice and I'm sure in the summer the facilities would be great. However, since we stayed the weekend before the start of the season, we only used the room. It had a little kitchenette with a table and fridge. The room needed a through dusting and vacuuming in the corners. I woke up with several spider/bug bites that were not there when I went to bed. :( Probably because the room hadn't been used in awhile since we stayed in between seasons.

• Chris (8/5): Another great stay at the Windrifter - I like the amenities...the pool/ping pong table and pool table. I also love the tiny kitchen! The Television and internet was not working properly
• Lynn (9/5): Annual visitor - The staff is amazing and very accommodating! The beds are comfortable and it is in a convenient location to everything. We come every year and will definitely be back. The bathrooms could use a bit more cleaning/ updating but the rest of the room was great! Always stocked with the necessities.

We could clearly hear every step from the people staying above us, and the floor was creaking with every step. We knew exactly when they went to sleep and when they woke up — unfortunately, that was at 6 a.m. The sofa sheets had not been changed or cleaned.

There were not enough pillows provided in the room for use with the pull-out sofa bed. The addition of another blanket or two would have been appreciated.

The resort had lots of dvds to borrow, books to read and puzzles and games to play with. Walking up two flights of stairs with my luggage.

• Deborah (6/5): Wonderful location OK accommodations - The location is wonderful and to be by the lake in the small town of Wolfeboro is phenomenal It said that we had a studio with a queen bed, but it was only a double bed. We couldn’t really figure out the mini split healing system. We were either too hot or cold. We ended up shutting it off and just using blankets. It’s quite a bit outdated with carpet and furnishings but for a getaway it met the need.

• Ani7 (6/5): Adequate but not exciting: Average stay in an expensive area - Windrifter is a resort south of Wolfeboro, quiet, at least the weekend we were there. It appears to be a timeshare rental that has seen better days. Our room had a distinctly fishy odor near the front door. The room was described as a “studio, small villa“ it contained a small kitchen table and small sink, stove and refrigerator. There was coffee available at registration in the morning. Plenty of parking, set back from the highway, so it was quiet.

The toilet was so close to the tub that it was awkward to use. Bedspread and sheets were very thin. However, parking was easy and it was convenient to shops and restaurants. Staff were nice.

• Lenville (10/5): Felt at home. Well, actually better than home. - It was a really nice trip and would love to stay longer sometime. The room was clean and spacious. I had everything I needed if I wanted to bring in my own groceries and cook, but I was only there for a few days and chose to dine out. The mattress is firm, so if you're used to soft it may be an adjustment. Water got good and hot. Property is managed well, and grounds are very well taken care of. I will definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.

• Nazar (10/5): - This hotel offers a peaceful and quiet retreat. While it's a little bit outdated, the rooms are pretty clean and spacious, providing plenty of room to spread out. A big plus is the inclusion of a kitchen in every room (as far as I could tell), which more than makes up for the lack of a formal breakfast service and allows for significant savings on meals. The staff is nice and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. However, a lot of small things need attention or fixing throughout the property. The very quiet location is great for relaxation, but you'll definitely want to plan your free time and activities beforehand, as amenities and attractions aren't immediately nearby. Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Stars. A solid choice for those who appreciate quiet, space, and the convenience of an in-room kitchen.
• Tami (6/5): - This was a stay with my adult daughter and friend. We only stayed one night as we were in the area for a show. The room had a musty smell to it when we walked in so we opened the door and turned on the ac to air it out which seemed to help a bit. There was one double bed and a pullout sofa. The bed was okay but the pullout was absolutely terrible. The thinnest "mattress" I'd ever seen and when you laid on it you could feel every spring. I think my daughter would have been better off just sleeping on the sofa. I don't think we'd stay here again.
• ChrisPalin (10/5): Down town on the lake, fantastic. - Booked for two nights extended to three as it was so good. There are two options at this resort, the one slightly out of the centre by the golf course or the yacht club accommodation that I highly recommend. Really good apartments on the lake with a balcony in the town centre. You can walk to everything including a supermarket. The apartments have everything you need to cook in. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Great place to stay, highly recommend it.

• William (7/5): Good value for our short stay. - This older resort isn't very modern or fancy however it offers a lot of amenities and value. The room is large and has a small kitchen, living room and balcony facing the golf course. There's also an indoor pool and other amenities. The AC worked well and the bed was fairly comfortable. The bathroom is quite small and there's no exhaust fan to vent moisture when you take a shower. TV remote and cable seems overly complicated.

• Linda (10/5): Would stay here again!! - I was prepared to be disappointed because the Resort is on the main road, but I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully quiet our room was! Parking was a breeze, and the water recreation options were unexpected! I went for a swim at the yacht club, wished I'd had time to take out a paddle board. The room was lovely; clean, comfortable and super practical with the mini kitchen. Great location - easy, short drive to the center of town.

• linda (10/5): Look no further than this charming resort for your wolfeboro stay. - Perfect location - 2 min drive to grocery and drug stores, 3 min drive to town for shops, restaurants, scenic walk along the bay, & museums. Perfect accommodations - fully stocked kitchenette, private balcony overlooking golf course, sitting area with sofa beds and TV. Building was so QUIET and PEACEFUL - I can’t think of a better place for a restful nite sleep! The blackout drapes were a pleasant surprise. Not a thing

• Hendrikje (7/5): Erg oud, maar schoon, zoals wij hadden verwacht - Het personeel was erg aardig en de kamer was schoon, ruim en had een fijne douche. Het keukentje was voorzien van alle gemakken in het geval je zou willen koken (wij verbleven in een studio). Alles in de kamer is gewoon echt heel erg oud en ondanks dat het schoon is, merk je dat toch wel echt in het comfort en de vibe. De slaapbank kan ik niet aanbevelen, die is niet comfortabel.

The pool was heated and we enjoyed using it several times. Room and property was a little dated. We found cobwebs in the room so it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned.

• Brian (6/5): - The space was comfortable for a couple with a baby. For the price, it’s decent value considering the size and amenities. We also appreciated the free DVD selection and board games available. The staff themselves were very friendly and helpful. Our main concerns were hygiene and safety. When we arrived, the room was not properly cleaned — there was visible dirt and dust on the floor, candy and food residues left behind, and the coffee machine still had an old, moldy filter inside. The mosquito net was broken, and worse, the screws in the bedroom door had come loose, which our one-year-old immediately picked up. We also noticed nails sticking out of the wooden planks, which is a real safety hazard for children.

Oh, and the sauna doesn’t really heat up enough. overall just seem like they didn’t really Want to provide hospitality or care about their property degrading in condition. I wouldn’t stay again.

• Sally (7/5): For what we wanted, a short two night stay to attend a nearby event, it was a good value. - Loved the view of the golf course and mountains from the balcony. Walking distance to the golf course restaurant where we ate for breakfast. Good location near downtown Wolfeboro. The bathroom needs to be renovated. The bed was comfortable enough and the furniture was adequate.
