We even said to each other that this is probably the first place we would actually consider coming back to again. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
Norris (9/5): This is a beautiful hotel with direct access to a stunning beach. - The staff were friendly and responsive. The beach accommodations were fantastic. loved the delicious food they prepared and served. They even surprised me with a cake on my birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening with Greek music and dancing. It would have been nice to have another chair in the room for lounging. Decorations were sparse. There was a lot of scraping of all chairs on the patios around me, not the fault of the hotel, but it was annoying at night. I slept well but would have loved a higher quality mattress.
Amine (10/5): Incroyable Hotel! - Magnifique Hotel! La chambre, la piscine, la plage et son accès, le restaurant pour le petit déjeuner ou les cocktails à la piscine, les snacks et les autres repas. Tout était vraiment à la hauteur. Un vrai bon 4 étoiles. La salle de sport est vraiment top avec du matériel de qualité. Je reviendrais sans aucun doute si je suis de passage à nouveau à Rethymno.

Barbara (9/5): Erholsam und schön - ich komme sehr gerne wieder - Extrem authentisch freundliches Personal, wunderschöne Lage direkt am Strand ohne Strasse dazwischen, sehr gutes Restaurant mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Die Zimmer waren gepflegt und sauber aber es fehlte die Deko und damit die Gemütlichkeit.

We experienced genuine warmth and hospitality by the entire staff, the beachside location was absolutely stunning, and sipping piña coladas by the sea was pure bliss. Every meal at the on-site Utopia restaurant was absolutely delicious! Super clean and peaceful. We can’t wait to return someday!

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Notre chambre ne captait pas le wifi malgré notre commentaire à la réception rien n’a été fait durant notre séjour.

Jacques (10/5): Relaxing, Faultless, Perfect. - Beautiful setting!! Loved the aircon, fan in room, great sunbeds both poolside and beach. Staff were very friendly and food at the restaurant was amazing too. We had a room with a jacuzzi which was fantastic, nice and warm and very relaxing. Special shout out to the shower in the room which was like a spa itself. Easy check in / check out, can’t fault anything. Honestly can’t think of anything, we loved put stay here and would return!!

Raffaella (10/5): Un bel établissement offrant toutes les commodités - Très bel établissement donnant sur la mer, sans devoir traverser de route ! Personnel très sympa, belle et spacieuse chambre sur deux étages avec une superbe vue sur la mer. Spacieuse également la salle de bain. Literie très confortable. Petit-déjeuner exceptionnel, extérieurs très beaux, dont la piscine, le bar et la plage avec les infrastructures nécessaires et gratuites. Parking gratuit assuré à 5 min à pied. Soins du SPA aussi ok. L'établissement propose un bon restaurant. Nombreux restaurants également à proximité sans devoir prendre le véhicule. Attention à ne pas choisir une chambre sur deux étages si vous avez quelques légers problèmes de mobilité, la salle de bain est en bas. La vieille ville de Réthymnon est proche en voiture mais env. à 1 heure à pied !

Irina (8/5): - The property is located on the beach (nice and clean) and is really good value for money. Great beach amenities. Good variety for breakfast, book shelf, board games to borrow. Very friendly stuff. Nice pool and pleasant bar by the pool and a nice restaurant terrace. Hotel offers free yoga classes on some days. The hotel is some 40 minutes walk from the city center (a pleasant walk by the beach), which was not a problem for me but something to mention to manage expectations. I got what seemed like the last room, ground floor, and hence a bit too dark and exposed to everyone walking outside from the reception. So, try to book a bit in advance to get a better room option.

Olga (10/5): Ein erholsamer Aufenthalt in einem gepflegten Hotel mit leckerem Frühstück, sauberen Zimmern und perfekter Strandlage. - Sehr gepflegtes Hotel, die Zimmer waren blitzsauber. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, mit großer Auswahl und täglich wechselnden Speisen. Der Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt und die Liegen sind kostenlos. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die entspannte Tage verbringen möchten. Nichts.

Ruxandra (10/5): Excellent! - This place was a wonderful surprise! We booked the last Deluxe Maisonette with Sea View last-minute, the night before departure, not knowing if what they advertise is accurate or not. And they delivered! This 3-star hotel truly feels like a 4-star. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay – spotless room, great view, literally on a clean, private and not crowded beach, very friendly and efficient staff (reception, bar, restaurant), excellent breakfast with plenty of options, and super comfortable sunbeds on the beach. It was peaceful even with kids around at the hotel's new & modern pool, and the soundproof rooms with their incredibly comfy beds let us rest perfectly. We booked a yoga session and massage that also contributed to our overall amazing experience. Rented 2 bikes for an evening stroll to Rethymno and we eagerly returned to this peaceful place. We were honestly sad that we booked only 4 nights. I highly recommend this hotel! There was nothing that influenced our stay in a negative manner.

The staff--especially Athena--were extremely helpful and eager to please. The breakfast buffet was truly amazing and contained a large (and changing) variety of dishes, including some Cretan specialties.

The bed was very comfortable, with a high-quality mattress and pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The à la carte menu has some good choices, and it’s worth considering for dinner. The beach and the service there were also enjoyable, adding to a pleasant stay.

Taxi stand is a 3 minute walk. Especially enjoyed the Greek night with local music, sons, and folk dancing. Private pool and large patio were great. Wifi was not good, but cell service was fine.

Lunch in the restaurant was excellent, great choice and good price, service always excellent. Breakfast was ok except cooked offerings which were poor - always cold and not nice. Only used the restaurant once in evening and it was very poor. Poolside toilets were unacceptable so we returned to our room.

Cindy (8/5): Contemporary property perfectly located to visit Crete. - The location is beautiful right on the beach looking at the old town. You can walk to Rethymno in 20-30 min. The pool area and restaurants were lovely. The room was contemporary and clean. Loved all the cats! The AC was not working in the living area and loft of our suite. They gave us a portable one that didn’t work so they did move our adult son from the loft to a room next door with AC.

Svetlana (10/5): It was a relaxing and joyful vacation. - The hotel is a very nice, clean and quite place to stay. The room was very confortable and clean. The breakfast with a variety of choises. Maybe except the cofee that was not so good because of the old coffe machine. The beach is private with veeery confortable chaise longue. The seaview from the balcony was beatiful!!!! The personnel was very kind and polite. Nothing to mention.

Katie (9/5): A beautiful beach resort in Rethymno - Beautiful beach resort with a great breakfast. A bonus having the beach on your doorstep. 15-20 min walk along the beach with really nice restaurants nearby. We stayed here on our anniversary and they went above and beyond for us. A small issue but half the sun-beds didn’t have any parasols or cover so they were often empty. There are plenty of beach sun-beds but if you want to sit by the pool then there’s only a handful of beds with parasols.

Nice pool and nice beds (at the pool and at the beach). - The staff was exceptional, very friendly and professional. Special mention for the waiters of the restaurant and the bar! - Good food at the restaurant and good breakfast as well. - The bed was soooo comfortable and in general, it was calm, we could sleep very well which is rare in some hotels. - They organized some concerts that lasted a bit too long during the evening but that’s all we can say!

Shelley (9/5): A wonderful hotel, a perfect setting for relaxing. - We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the hotel’s new rooms. The room was lovely - modern, clean, and well equipped. The hotel pool setting overlooking the beach is glorious, we loved spending time relaxing on the lounges. The location suited us well, with restaurants easy walking distance nearby, or the option of a ~50min walk or 6 euro taxi into the old town for a change of scenery and some more variety in options. We also found the majority of the staff very warm and helpful! The shower screen was not quite long enough, so the bathroom floor got very wet when showering. The pool temperature was very refreshing. But these are very minor - we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beach chairs are a given by the beach and the pools. Fully equipped room overlooking the sea, complimentary wine and fruits. Amazing, varied breakfast. Highly recommend.
