- Joyce (9/5): Very nice - It’s a great value for the price. As much like being home as it can be. Each room is a little different. We have stayed there about four times this summer. There’s little things I would change sometimes, but over all, a great place to stay. Depending on what building you’re in, the view can be looking at another building, but not much way to prevent that.
- Brian (8/5): - Love all the stuff to do around the resort. Super peaceful for the most part. The beds are a tad uncomfortable unless you like a firm, stiffer bed. However we did get extra pillows and it made it more comfortable for my wife. For majority of our stay there was no one around us and then for the last two nights of our trip they put people directly above us and you can hear every footstep lol. It didnt seem like there were alot of bookings and they didn't need to be directly above us but maybe they did. Other than that everything was amazing!

- ottinger (10/5): Wonderful place - The best thing was that it had a full kitchen, clean room nice patio. The staff was wonderful. My friend forgot all her jewelry, and they called us within a half hour after we left. We had time to turn around and get the jewelry and back on our way back to phoenix. They were kind and answered any questions that we had. I didn't like that.We couldn't stay longer.

Hot tub not working majority of our week stay and as we are over 70 that feature has always been one we looked forward to using daily! No face towels provided even after requesting them. Always provided in the past but not anymore! Unusual for such a high level resort.

Also, wifi is spotty at best.
- Cynthia (10/5): Our stay at Round House Resort was peaceful and gave us a nice reset - We love all of the resort amenities at no additional charge. Included are an 18 hole mini golf course, a recreation center with indoor heated pool, a racquetball court, half basketball court with net on wheels that converts it to a pickleball court, 2 pool tables and 2 ping pong tables. A fitness center is also available. Management also provides a library of DVD movies to check out for no additional cost. I enjoy everything about this resort. We have continues to return here for many years.

The staff were very accommodating and upgraded the room at no charge. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was satisfactory. Maintenance of the room needs improvement. Paint is terrible.

- sharon (10/5): A hidden gem in the mountains. - The room was spacious very clean, and quiet. We were even surprised at the amount of stations available on the TV. The grounds are beautiful and the reck area has everything we needed. Found nothing to complain about!

Property had lots of activities, but due to other time commitments we weren't able to enjoy them. Lots of wonderful restaurants close by. We walked out of our room first morning and were greeted by the wild horses behind the parking lot. Beautiful. We will definitely be back. Bed was extremely hard.

- Cynthia (8/5): - The stay was nice. The front desk was informative and very nice. Easy check in. The property has many things for families to do which is very nice when traveling. The room was very clean but a bit outdated. We are looking forward to coming back.
- Michael (5/5): Low mediocre at best. - The location was right where we wanted to be. We booked a room with a king bed and got a room with a queen only. I complained as soon as we saw the room, found our booking.com room details. They were willing to give us a different room after an extensive and long phone call to the manager but we decided that we would not want to pack up and unpack again so we stayed in the room we got. I would imagine there would have been a difference in price since it was only a queen and was smaller than a King room. We stayed in the central building, the carpets were filthy, the furniture in the atrium area was terribly worn out and it was dark and gloomy. The cost booked thru Booking.com was $35 more per night than the resort would have charged us coming in off the street with no reservation. The ice machine and laundry did not work near our location. We had to walk over to the grand canyon building for both. We are both disabled so it was not ideal. They told us that they would clean the room after two days but that didn't happen. We will have to decide if we ever want to stay here again. It wasn't at all like previous stays.

- Pogue (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - The amenities were great. Something for everybody to enjoy. Rooms were clean and thoroughly stocked with everything you could possibly need for a few days of vacation time. Staff was friendly. The blankets for the bed were not comfortable at all.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Felt insulted - It was okay, the staff at check in was fairly nice. There were some issues with the sofa bed (broken hardware), which made it crooked and almost impossible to sleep on, plus the mattress in it was very uncomfortable and the mattress cover had some questionable stains on it. The caulk around the tub was very gross, with black mold. I asked for bleach to remedy that but they told me they couldn’t provide me with any. Also, there was only one very light blanket for four people (none on the king size bed) and some of the dishes (not all) in the cupboard were dirty. I brought these issues up to the front desk and when we checked out, they mentioned that they don’t offer refunds or discounts on Hotels.com reservations but we could get one for our next stay. I felt insulted that they thought I mentioned those issues to get a refund/discount. I was just bringing my concerns to their attention. Plus, I had already made up my mind that I’m not going back there anyway. Very disappointed.

I used a bed pillow to support me when using the chair. The multiple light bulbs in the bathroom kept flickering and needed to be changed two different times while staying there

- Kathleen (10/5): Wonderfully relaxing - The indoor pool and hot tub are always a treat as they are clean and well kept. Many times we had the pool all to ourselves during October. We also love the outdoor putt putt course and the recreation room. Our room had a back patio where we were able to sit under the sun and read while listening to the wind whistle through the pines. We come here often and love it.
- Susan (6/5): - We had a room in the lodge. It was spacious and clean, with a full kitchen. We were told someone would be at the front desk from 9am to 9pm if we needed anything. On my itinerary, i had booked a king bed. When we went in the bedroom, we saw it was a queen. It was 8:30 pm and i got no answer from the front desk. We decided it didnt matter so we went to bed. The bed was hard as a rock. In the morning they called and said on their end, it said we paid for a queen bed. They came and dropped off 2 egg crate matress toppers. It helped a little. We only saw one staff member the whole time. We wont be going back for this reason.

Lots of outdoor seating, firepits, activities, bbq's, etc. The indoor pool and hot tub were well kept and nice to enjoy. Will definitely be staying here again while visiting area.

- Eileen61 (10/5): Awesome Mountain Getaway - Grounds were well kept, outdoor games and plenty of things to do. The room was nice and clean. Booking showed the property as one bedroom but 3 double beds and sofa bed, however property has never had those accommodations so error on the site. It worked out okay with king size that 2 shared and sofa bed and Murphy bed for other 2 guests with me.

One of us ended up sleeping on the couch, which was just as uncomfortable and neither of us got much sleep. Very disappointing. We did request a king bed and was not avail. We dont understand why so many avail rooms and not able to extend this request.

The surrounding resort area was beautiful and the indoor pool and spa was well maintained. Our only complaint is that the bed was in need of replacement..the facilities are older but maintained but the queen bed didn't make the grade necessary for a better sleep.
