• Shazia (2/5): The receptionist was not helpful or accommodating. It’s situated at the far end of the road. We were not allowed to wait - Nothing, the pictures on the website is completely different from the property . It looks like the pictures where taken a long time ago and the property was not maintained Nothing

• Lulama (6/5): The property was clean, excellent location, just a walk to the beach and good for families. The game rooms and planned d - The kids facilities and planned programs for each day were excellent. It’s old, it needs some renovations.
• Tebogo (2/5): I did not enjoy it and I won't recommend it to anyone. - The receptionist exhibited a poor attitude and was unwilling to provide us with any information, when we talk to her it's like we are bothering her. Additionally, she was unwelcoming. The establishment does not cater to individuals with disabilities. The cleaners they do not refill bodywash, toilet papers etc. My mother faced difficulties climbing the stairs, both up and down, which ultimately resulted in her injuring her foot.

• Wendy (10/5): - The rooms were clean and the cleaning service was excellent. The place is a great place to take the kids, the facilities especially the play area cater for kids. My kids loved everything about the place. Nothing. I had a great stay😁
• Rehkesh (1/5): My worst stay at a self catering place in more than 20 years. - Nothing 1) The property does not lead to the beach. 2) The rooms is small. 3) Only one key provided for a family - difficult for people arriving late to enter. 4) Early morning noise from construction. 5) Old fashion games for kids. 6) small swimming pool. 7) Unfriendly security. 8) I booked the Sea Lodge for my other daugter and her family at the same price. The space and luxury was so much better than the Umlhalnga Cabanas. 9) Parking is unsuffiecient. My new Mercedes Benz had to park in the rain during some niights.

• Josephine (8/5): Excellent for families with kids on holiday - The venue was very kid friendly. With a lovely entertainment area. Its a family place so if you don't like kids playing around and having fun in the pool till late (about 8/9pm), try another place.

• MBELE (4/5): Our stay was not what we anticipated. - Only the jacuzzi since the swimming was too cold Paying for the jacuzzi and I noticed you had to pay a pass for other activities I didn't enjoy the walking through the stairs since the lifts were on and off. The staircase and the passages were too narrow and having to squeeze between the cleaning trollies on each floor. I also didn't have a comfortable bed in the main room, the bed was too hard for my comfort. I also didn't enjoy the bath or shower since the water will spill through the cover over the tub I didn't enjoy the part of receiving only one set of keys having members of my family with.

• Tasneem (1/5): Bad - False advertised. The pictures are misleading. This is not Cabana beach resort. This place is very far out. We did not even stay here because upon arrival realized that this is not the correct resort and it is very far out and the place looks and smells terrible. And we not even given a refund or partial refund even though we did not stay here. We were not even offered a different room. The lady at reception was very rude and they are very difficult to deal with. Everything.

• Ramaboea (3/5): Poor - Enough activities for children to play. There was no interest from the receptionist on arrival. As a matter of fact, she said don't expect anything as this is not a hotel. Not helpful. There are no plugs to charge the phones( pin). At least we should have been notified to bring our own. No coffee on the first day. Bath rooms were dirty.

• Mack (9/5): the stay would be ok for people that dont have a problem with their credit/Bank cards being at risk - the place is clean and beautiful i hat the fact that they forced to make a copy of my credit/Bank card. when i told them that i am not comfortable with it they told me its either i leave their place or allow them to make a copy. we are living in a technological era, where credit card scams happen everyday. we cant be allowing people to make copies of our credit cards especially if we paid through bookings.com . the white guy i found there was rude, they didnt explain to me why they forced to make a copy of my credit card. people must just be careful when they book with them. i even launched a complain to Bookings. the management team and the lady that called me from The venue dont know how to speak with clients. they act like they did us a favor by allowing us to book in their area
• Reo (5/5): Passable - The unit had no water on the 1st night well into the 2nd Day and there was no active communication from the host or reception up until we requested a refund and the water was restored on the 2nd day approximately mid afternoon. Apparently they said its an Umhlanga problem but we visited other Facilities in the same road and they had water It is ludicrous that for the price and location the rooms have no WIFI. Management is not too welcoming but the rest of the Staff, cleaners, security and the Bell Boy, 5 star. But other than that the property is good
