- Reservations are required for private bath/onsen. Reservations can be made by contacting the ryokan prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation.
- One child 2 years old or younger stays free when occupying the parent or guardian's room, using existing bedding.
- The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
- Please note that some properties do not permit guests with tattoos to use the onsite public bathing facilities.

- Verified traveler (10/5): 家族旅行 - 夕食付の宿泊であったが、個室での会席料理でくつろぐ事が出来き、料理も非常に美味しく、量も十分であった。温泉も広くてゆっくりする事が出来き充実した旅が出来た。

Great Experience and Hospitality - Located on the bank of Kawaji river, you can experience Onsen (Japanese Hotspring) with the view of the river and the Railway bridge. We saw the old Diesel Rail cross the river a few times. The Hospitality was out of the world. We had a private dinner and breakfast with our Japanese friend's family. Really a wonderful experience.

- たかし (8/5): 開放感のある露天風呂 - 年末30日に家族で宿泊しました。 急な予定だったため、こちらしか空いてなくさほど期待はしていませんでした。また行きはもみじラインを通ったので車酔い。ところが宿に到着し落ち着きのある佇まいとと持て成しに感激しました。 それは館内から部屋、食事と満足のいく内容でした。中でも感動は開放感のある露天風呂、気温が低く雪景色の中で入る湯は格別なものでした。 また全般的に過剰では無く客を尊重した対応で、3歳児にも子供に対する態度で好感が持てました。 またと思うお宿でした。
- Don848 (10/5): Traditional Japanese Hotel - This traditional Japanese hotel is pure luxury. The vast entrance lobby with its plush carpets welcome you to this highly regarded hotel set in a delightful garden setting. The Autumn colours of the trees were beautiful. The traditional rooms very comfortable indeed, given that one sleeps on the floor. The food, and the service of it, is exceptional, but the highlight is the hot springs, or Onsen, where one relaxes having a good soak in the hot water under the sky. You won’t be disappointed with this hotel located in the Nikko National Park.
