Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was comfortable and quiet. It was in a good location for what we came for.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible - They gave my room away and sent me to the super 8, service was bad, The tube was horrible. Never again
- Stacey (6/5): - Shower was very dirty hairs that were not mine. Beds could have used a lightweight blanket as I don’t like using comforter. Definately ready for updating. Tv channels were very limited and some of electrical pugs need attention .
- April (4/5): Dirty nasty dirty - The hotel was nothing like the pictures. The linen on the bed was so filthy I ended up going to WalMart to get clean bedding and towels. The bathroom and shower was filthy as well, I also bought cleaned supplies and I still showered in water shoes. The next time I'll just spend the money to get a decent hotel.
- Demario (2/5): Cheap - Paid for 3 nights didn’t stay a single night
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Stay here everytime I come to savana for buissness. Very inexpensive and a great value I might add. Will always return as long s staff continues to be pleasent and the rooms are kept decent
- Larry (2/5): Cheap Last Resort - They couldn't find my reservation, then wanted to charge for early check-in ($15). Roaches, rusted, cracked bathroom fixtures and slices of bread for the "breakfast buffet"!
- JAMES (4/5): - A bit shabby, a/c never cooled the room down.
- Barbara (6/5): Clean, good location , cheap without pets - I prefer to have all charges upfront and posted. Ad said pets permitted and there is nothing that tells you there is a charge until you are standing at front desk checking in. hotel is mediocre and in need of repair but fairly clean. For price I paid with pet fee, I could have gone to better grade hotel.
- Donnie Nelson (6/5): And then came house keeping... - Not fancy... Not high class... Was a pleasant experience overall until the next morning when the rude Lil man over house keeping started being obnoxious. Was knocking on the door 20 minutes before checkout. Went to the front desk and explained that my traveling companion was blind & takes a lil longer to get ready sometimes. The manager graciously gave us plenty of time to do our thing & depart... Breakfast was a Lil slack but that's not a major thing. Overall for the price it was a good deal & worth the money...
- Shirley (2/5): - needs some serious tlc
- Verified traveler (8/5): It provided me a safe place to sleep. - For the price, not what I expected, then again I am old school. No shampoo, no remote for the tv. I had to go ask for one. I did a real hard search for bed bugs. Didn't find any, but was suspect. Very nice employees. No services were unmet or denied. Want to have a place to lay your head down and have a shower, this is the place for 60 bucks a night.
- Kamesh (10/5): Excellent - Excellent stay
- Yolisa (2/5): Don't stay there - The woman at the front desk was very nice but the managers wife was rude and cheap. I shouldn't have been charged to check in early for a room that was already reserved and ready. The room smelled and the towels were dingy. I will never come back there and the owner owns Motel 8 down the block so don't go there either.
- rosemary (6/5): Good Value - Good value for your money, very basic and raw.
- Disappointed (2/5): Don't Even! - Rundown and sad. Staff is poor and completely unprofessional. Don't have the sense that God gave them. There are TONS of better choices nearby. Choose one of them, instead. You're welcome.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Beware - Horrible. Online pic of place is a LIE, asked for refund , scared to sleep in bed due to filthiness of room. Mgmt refused, went to Quality Inn and took an L on this crack motel
- Sherry (2/5): Drug den - The hotel is a drug den. No towels no toilet paper. We were there less than 5 minutes. My daughters friend stepped on a broken crack pipe. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
- Lakindra (2/5): - This hotel is NOTHING like the photos and the rooms are borderline quarantine worthy! I expected to get what i paid for, but most certainly not mold and mildew all over the room that absolutely wreaks of cigarettes like a group of people are chain smoking in them. The comforter was all cut up and the chair nearly fell apart when my husband moved it. When i alerted the owner, without being rude or disrespectful, i was given nothing but attitude that i did not deserve. We had driven almost 7 hours from Florida so initially agreed to just suck it up for one night but quickly, within 30 mins after driving around looking for other hotels to stay in, came to our senses and requested a refund. We honestly was only in the room for less than 10 mins when we decided to look elsewhere, but the owner still didn't want to refund our money. Rude is an UNDERSTATEMENT when describing her(owner). I most certainly wasn't gonna stay at her run down establishment, nor was i gonna pay for a single night when i immediately alerted them that there was a problem with the room. My husband even went next door to a different hotel only to find the same lady(owner) there talking to whom we assumed to be her husband. The conversation must have been about us bc she immediately left when she saw him and her husband wouldn't even look at him nor speak to him. After telling his receptionist to tell my husband the price of the room, childish right, we of course declined. Bottom line, avoid staying here!!
- Tony (2/5): - Reserved over St Patrick's Day for college senior daughter and a friend. Room was worn and unclean, lights didn't work, location "scary." They checked in, felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Checked out and left...would not recommend at all.
- James (4/5): In expensive motel with few amenities - It was a below average hotel with basic amenities
- Kevin (6/5): Cheap hotel - and old hotel that was fixed up but nothing fancy by any means. It was a budget price though.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - waste
- Quitze (2/5): Nasty, disgusting and roaches infestation place - It sucks, it's horrible, old, it stinks and it's infested with roaches and bugs. When I was goin to lay down in the bed I found 2 roaches on the pillows and then another walking around the sheeds. The bathroom was dirty, disgusting, broken and the towels where covered with roaches. The customer service at the front desk was horrible as well. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS NASTY AND DISGUSTING PLACE.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice for the price - The room was clean. It was a good price for a short stay.
- Estephanie (8/5): - It was fair. Some lights didn't work but other than that it was good.
- Herbert (6/5): - Was met by a spider but I prevailed.
- craftylin (4/5): Moving to Florida - This was our second stop and by far the worst. There was mold in the bathroom and the toilet rocked. The room was very small and to use the table you had to block the door and the air conditioner. The television reception was horrible, half the channels were picture only no sound and there was a poor choice of channels. The only good thing was the bed was comfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No electricity, when I checked in - Smells, no window to open
Staff very, very weak in English. Impossible to understand. Made reservation through Orbit. Got to hotel, they charge me cash. I need refund from Orbit
- Mike (2/5): Discusting - Dirty doesn't describe it. Mold, mildew! Bathroom door not attached to frame. The smell was unbearable.
- DeMario (2/5): Never again in life - Cold to barely warm water. Rude mgr. Slack on towels. Hard bed. Toilet barely flushed. Room smelled terrible. No coffee maker. No anything. I reserved the room for 3 days because I believed the advertisements online. I arrived for check in and the Clerk was behind a glass asking me to slide my id and credit card through the small opening. Even had the nerve to ask me for my pin number. After one night I checked out prior to check out time and was initially told that I would not be charged for the second to nights only for the mgr. to recant and say that I will be charged for the second night because I didn't give them 24 hr. notice. Like I was supposed to know that conditions were what they were before experiencing them. Even if you are just looking for some place to rest for one night. I would suggest some other establishment until those people make some considerable improvements on their hotel and their treatment of patrons. Like I said "never again in life"
- Jessica (8/5): great hotel for the price - great hotel for the price!
- Jack (2/5): Horrible customer service
- Guy at front desk was rude on every occasion. Called for an iron and he caught an attitude. Went inside to get breakfast which was nothing but some sort of honey bun crap and he was rude. I would not recommend this hotel as an extended stay. This is a last minute I have no where to sleep hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): not a nice thing to say - Paint falling off ceiling, lukewarm water from shower and water saver shower head .Smell of smoke in a nonsmoking room
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never going to stay there again... - Well, there were no amenities;
we had to continually ask for toilet paper and towels;
the owner was not very friendly AT ALL!!!
they said continental breakfast but there equipment was faulty and they had not nutrious honey buns and white bread, weak coffee and not even real Orange Juice
- Verified traveler (4/5): It was okay - Not a horrible place for the price, room was okay. Breakfast menu was close to nil. Needs some updates to TV's and the rooms. But if you need a place, for cheap, to rest it's not a bad idea.
- Barbara (6/5): Dont judge the hotel totally by its exterior - Hotel from the exterior looks like a dive, but the room was very clean and for the price the hotel was okay
- Hisangel1022 (2/5): Ghetto - Very poor neighborhood. Hotel was very outdated and dirty. I refused to walk barefooted. Didn't want to use the gross shower. The room had a terrible odor even air fresheners didn't help. The towels were dirty. The TV was ancient. The bags in the garbage can were grocery bags from Food Lion. My key card kept deactivating. The staff was not friendly at all. Just GHETTO!
- Amit (6/5): Average - Overall it was ok. However Price was on higher side.
- Daniel (4/5): Not what I paid for - Disappointed becuase I paid for a Non Smoking and received a smoking one.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Its not even 1* hotel, please change your rating.
- Verified traveler (2/5): If this is "Deluxe", I don't want see "Economy" - Where do I start? The lobby smelled like chicken curry. The room felt like I was in a time machine to the mid nineties. The tv was an old standard def Zenith tube tv. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. The toilet was so loose, it was a balancing act to sit on it. The ac unit only worked if you set it to sub zero. But, the best part was when I asked the front desk for an extra towel at 8:30, and was told the housekeeper wouldn't be in until 9. What hotel doesn't have access to towels?
- Verified traveler (2/5): Skip this one! - The room smelled and the labels on the AC unit were all worn off so it took forever to get the room comfortable. It also looked like it had droppings inside. The paint was falling off the ceiling, the vanity was cracked and the toilet was really loose. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else!
- Janet (4/5): - At 9 am someone knocked on the door and before I could answer it a man opened the door. When he saw me, he apologized. Checkout wasn't until 11am. I really didn't appreciate that
- Scherrie (6/5): college visit - We stayed here while visiting USCB. Building and room are old, but the room smelled very clean and appeared clean. There was not a microwave in our room, but they got one and put it in. They came in and cleaned and made our bed daily. Staff was very polite. The thing that would've made it better was to have a coffee pot in the room. Also, when we arrived, the power was out in the neighborhood, so we had to wait to check in; even though I made reservations ahead of time and prepaid. Finally, there was two of us in the room and only 2 bath towels.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was a fast in and out, everything satisfactory.
