rami (10/5): Hidden Gem with incredible mountain views and award winning food. - This place is truly a hidden gem. Everything from the views, the estate grounds, staff, rooms, bathrooms, balcony with views. It was all amazing. We were travelling from Lucca to Lake Como and needed to find a place that ticked the boxes for Tuscany vibes on route the motorway and this place was just that! The place is family run, with the mum running the estate and the sons are on site working, it was really cool to experience. Now, the restaurant was out of this world good - everything from the quality and style of food, the incredible wine and the staff.. all 6*. n/a

Yuri (10/5): - This is a wonderful hotel. It's located on a mountain with stunning views. There's a restaurant on site, which I expected to offer fine home-cooked meals, but it turned out to be a high-class establishment worthy of a Michelin star. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with enormous beds. The entire hotel is decorated with antiques, vases, and other items that create a unique atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and even bath salts. Peace, beauty, friendliness and excellent food - this is what awaits you at this hotel.

Parking spacieux. A very atmospheric and cozy hotel, delicious breakfast, a wonderful hostess and staff. Upon arrival, we were given a complimentary room upgrade. Comfortable bed and pillows. It is very convenient to have lunch and dinner available at the on-site restaurant. Spacious parking area. La chambre est très froide la nuit comme en journée (température extérieure d’environ +2 °C la nuit et +8 °C le jour), l’eau de la douche n’est pas du tout assez chaude, il est donc difficile de se réchauffer. Le restaurant est correct, mais certains plats sont trop expérimentaux. The room is very cold both at night and during the day (with outside temperatures of around +2°C at night and +8°C during the day). The shower water is not hot enough at all, making it very difficult to warm up. The restaurant is decent, but some dishes are overly experimental.

Carlo (10/5): Bellissima struttura, camera spaziosa pulita e ben curata. - Camera magnifica, spaziosa, arredata benissimo, tutto pulito e curato, con un bel terrazzo con vista, letto molto confortevole, grande, comodo, bagno grande con doccia spaziosa, insomma tutto molto agevole e rilassante. Sinceramente nulla, ci siamo trovati benissimo, tutto era curato e di grande qualità pertanto non ci sentiamo di fare alcuna critica, la struttura è ben tenuta e lo staff e il personale gentili e attenti.

Bob (8/5): Ein gut geführtes Hotel mitten in der Natur - Eigentlich war fast alles perfekt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet. Vor allem aber ist die ganze Masseria wunderschön. Wir haben auch köstlich im Restaurant gegessen. Wir können das Hotel eigentlich nur empfehlen. Der Lärm der anderen Gäste in der Nacht war leider kaum zu ertragen. Da es sich um ein altes Gebäude handelt, sind die Zimmer leider nicht gut schallisoliert. Das wäre eigentlich kein Problem, aber wir hatten halt das Pech, das Hotel mit respektlosen Gästen zu teilen.

Good tips for day trips out to nearby watering holes. The games room / gym was a little basic and difficult to access at times.

Gabrielle (10/5): Exceptional - Super cute hotel, a bit far from the highway but definitely worth the detour! I only stopped for a night during my travels but was very happily surprised. The restaurant is quite nice, local food and definitely high quality products! Not much to be honest! Would go back anytime :)

The perfect place to get away and relax. Highly recommended; especially to have an evening dinner at their restaurant - unforgivable experience.
Mathilde (10/5): Great hotel in Tuscany - Everything was great, we had an amazing stay dispute the bad weather. Our room was very big and cosy, food was great as well (both breakfast and restaurant). Sea is 30min away, many hikes to do in the area, plenty of small villages to visit -
Dalia_h (10/5): Beautiful property run by a beautiful Lady - We loved it all but most of all we loved Mrs. Conti. The location is bit off the main road and the drive can be a bit challenging up the hill but I can assure you it's worth it. The rooms are very spacious, with everything you need - they gave us big bottles of filtered water to have in the room complimentary, there was a kettle, espresso machine, some free goodies, and I asked for milk because I wake up early and wanted to have coffee on the terrace and they filled a small pitched and just gladly handed it to me. The view from the terrace is out of this world. We had dinner at their restaurant which is beautiful, the food is not your typical but wonderful flavors and everything home made. Breakfast had eggs made to order, fresh breads, cheese, meats and everything we asked for. It is one of these places that you don't want to leave, I wish I could stay longer. The big bath towels are made from a special thin material which we thought wasn't great, other but that everything was perfect!

Kris2022 (10/5): Exceptional - Perfection! Great vibes, beatiful garden and swimming pool. Room was big and breezy with a beatiful bathroom. They do a lot of weddings and we can see why. It is family owned (british/italian) and there is great attention to detail. The restaurant serves modern dishes that are inspired by local dishes. Surroundings are great for walks and outdoor activities. Nothing!

There is love in every detail of this beautiful hotel The one thing I would mention is that the beautiful rooms don’t have windows to open at night apart from the glass door. This was fine for us, as we kept the door open and the heavy curtain in front of it.
Jan (10/5): Great stay, fabulous food, lovely hosts. - We arrived at Podere Conti after an extreme flight delay and a drive in dreadful weather but the welcome was fantastic. We were just in time for dinner and the family couldn't have been more gracious. The food was incredible and the room was comfortable and spacious. In the morning there was a fantastic view over the surrounding area and Cornelia couldn't have been more lovely, chatty and helpful. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it's there for the good weather. Their ethos of sustainability and being organic in their farming is to be admired. The drive up is a little hairy but that may have been due to the weather conditions we arrived in. Difficult to find fault otherwise.

Anneleen (10/5): An unforgettable stay in a unique place in Italy! - The location is very remote and offers a beautiful view. The farmhouse has been renovated with a great sense of style, and the rooms are very large and comfortable. The restaurant was exquisite as they have a fantastic chef; when Italians come celebrate their wedding anniversary here you know the cuisine must be extraordinary. The biopool is also amazing; the water feels very soft on your skin, it’s very refreshing and it looks beautiful. We’ve had an unforgettable stay here at Podere Conti!

Excellent, rich breakfast, and we also enjoyed the first class dinners. During the day, we relaxed at the pool with a whirlpool corner. All in all, it is an excellent place for a chilling vacation.

Olivia (10/5): Relaxing, generous and welcoming. - I really liked the family run feeling of the place. Cornelia the owner is a very generous host who has a natural relaxed leadership style. Her sons were around as it was the summer holiday and her eldest was the waiter/maitre dis. I liked getting to know them and felt they like their customers too. There were a lot of kids but it was the summer holidays so we were totally fine. I would say if you want a romantic get away, which it is perfect for... that you should avoid high season (july/august) and head for autumn or spring.
