- Easling (7/5): Plan on staying at this property every time we visit this area - Allowed a late check in and our Dog. The pet fee was cheap Exterior of the hotel and neighboring buildings looked a bit run down, but the inside was all remodeled and the location was convenient for us.
- Russell (8/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): No complaints, great stay. - The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the room was clean the shower was awesome. We would definitely recommend to friends and family!!!
- Earl (5/5): First time I’ve had issues here. Would stay again, hoping issues are rectified - Location Sewage smell coming from bath tub drain, I needed to keep the door closed and the fan on, so it would not smell in the room and keep confined to the bathroom. Air conditioning unit was leaking water on the floor, carpet was all wet. Could mildew and give off an odor if not fixed and cleaned up soon.
- Donna (8/5): It was an okay stay - It was quiet staff was excellence
Booking failed to cancel the first reservation made
The Inn maybe charged for that. I feel bad for them Musty smell in room
- Melissa (10/5): - It wasn’t that far from are desalination They were there to help
- Neal (8/5): - clean comfortable bed, room smelled good, decent shower water pressure. It was perfect for resting between day hikes. The curtains did let in some of the parking lot light
- James (7/5): -
- Faughn (2/5): Ok - It was good stay During winter months should tune the heat on in the rooms bc it is ice cold In there and not enough towels and the door didn’t close n was hard to push open
- Sampson (10/5): -
- Erica (1/5): Really not good. - It wasn’t clean, stunk of smoke was under 30 degrees, no one was there to check in; now I’m being charged multiple times bc they said i didn’t show ? And i have the invoice - they also did not give me the room i paid for. No stopper for tub, hair and black stuff all over the place, used toiletries left in the room. I’ve previously stayed here with way less issues. I essentially was put in a room that had no clean sheets or heat
- Maloney (8/5): -
- Angela (9/5): A great stay - Quit nice Location and water pressure wasn’t great
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): - It’s great for an overnight stay. The rooms are nice Our room was missing a smoke detector but otherwise everything else was great.
- James (6/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): Relaxing and hassle free - Clean user friendly No issues
- Danielle (7/5): - The staff was very nice. Room was set up nice and very clean. The mattress was slightly uncomfortable.
- william (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): - Nice
- Melissa (8/5): It was nice - Close to where we were going Yes very easy to get to
- Lease (8/5): fine - clean and quiet better coffee
- Charles (5/5): Beware of the traffic noise - Good value. Good enough room. The closeness of the room to the highway was a problem. Heavy truck traffic made getting to sleep difficult
- Brian (6/5): Nice place just nobody there - All good just waited 15 minutes for the guy to come to the desk to check in
- Debbie (10/5): Great Place To Stay - The room was clean and well taken care of. A few broken and lose tiles by the sink area. Air Conditioning worked well and was quiet. Definitely a great place to stay. Quiet and secure. Lots of pillow too :)
- Bump (7/5): -
- Robert (2/5): Not Recommended - I would not recommend this location. Although the staff person was very nice, the room itself had a very unpleasant/stale smell, the carpet needed vacuuming, and the window curtain wasn’t wide enough to extend over the entire window so exterior lighting poured into the room all night. Not acceptable.
- Sandra (10/5): - There was a problem with the billing so the management at Red Carpet Inn canceled the transaction and ran it though again. It was taken care of. I was impressed how it was handled and they were very friendly. If I am in the area again I will be staying there. It is an older motel that why I liked it. But the only thing being a older motel the toilets are always so low. I have come across a few motels like that. It would take a lot of time and money to replace the old toilets I know
- Chase (7/5): -
- Chris (4/5): - No
- Debbie (10/5): Good place for price - Nice room, comfy bed, lots of pillows, clean and quiet.
- Joseph (2/5): - There is a strange, greasy puddle on the night stand. The sheets and pillow cases have large dark spots on them. An outlet is pulling out of the wall and electrical tape is hanging from inside - it does not work. The bathroom locks from the outside. The room has an odd smell. The door has scuffs, scratches, and writing on it. The vents on the air conditioning unit are broken.
- Dave (6/5): - Seemed a bit sketchy. Property was pretty rough. Room was just shy of okay. I didn’t stay the second night I had booked.
- Ahu (8/5): - the staff is nice and the price is good The rooms have a heavy smell and the cups in the room weren’t clean
- James (10/5): - The Staff at check-in was professional, quick yet organized. They were completely receptive to any questions concerning the best places to eat, shop, etc.
- Amy (8/5): Basic, clean room for $75 with nice people running it. - Clean, nice landscaping Spotty WiFi
- Tony (7/5): -
- Nikita (8/5): - Check in was quick and super friendly staff! They gave us water bottles upon arrival! The area around the place is run down and the building is older and could use some updating. The room was clean, smelled decent and no bed bug issues! The amenities were awesome, it included a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker! We only stayed one night for a quick trip into the area but would definitely stay again if we needed to! Ask for a room on the back side of the building the place is on a main road and we couldn’t hear any traffic back there!
- Rex (6/5): Duncannon, Pa area lodging - Like the second room best. It was also less noisy there since it was not facing the highway. Not many places to choose from near where we wanted to stay. The management was accommodating, said the previous occupant probably smoked in the room after coming in late. The 1st room was supposed to be non-smoking, but smelled like smoke and was musty smelling. They moved us to the backside of the motel. The room was less smelly and didn't smell like smoke, he also sprayed with an air freshener. It was also less noisy there since it was not facing the highway. Not many places to choose from near where we wanted to stay.
- Michael (8/5): - Check in was quick and easy me and my dog were welcomed and got our room very quick in room coffee fridge and microwave didn't need the microwave but everything else was awesome
- Karen (1/5): Bad - Nothing. We didn't even stay there. We paid for room before we got there. Payed 40.00 dollars extra for our dog. Got the key for room send they sent us around back to room 12 and we never even got out of car. The windows on the room next to ours was broke out and curtains blowing in the wind. Doors had big dents and paint peeled off. My husband went back in and talked to clerk for refund and refused . Said we had to go online to do it but have not been able to find where. The place should be shut down. Had to find another hotel last minute. So had to pay for another tonight's at another hotel further away from where we need.
- Anastasiya (7/5): Perfect for a short stay and very reasonably priced! - The property was clean and accessible. We were swiftly able to come in and get to our room. The price was absolutely perfect for the room. The room had a bit of a smell and the blinds did not completely cover the light from outside (not that big of a deal).
- Robert (2/5): - There were 2 men sitting on the pavement in front of room 15, which we were assigned. Next to them was a stack of empty beer cans. The door key would not work. The manager came and used the pass key. Room 12 was then assigned, it's key would also not work. Both rooms were opened by the manager, using a pass key. Both rooms stank of mildew. I observed the windows of room 12 were broken out: the draperies were the only barrier to the exterior. We felt unsafe! We left and drove home (2 hours). We suggest that this motel be removed from any online listing of safe places to sleep.
- Robert (2/5): - Mildew stench, beer cans on the sidewalk, we felt unsafe. We did not stay!!!
- Stephanie (7/5): Good -
- Ashley (6/5): Pleasant - For a cheap hotel for a quick overnight stay, it met expectations Not updated
- Emily (8/5): Basic, clean, convenient - Very friendly and helpful staff made sure the check-in was smooth. Our first room wasnt quite what we had booked but the staff quickly moved us to the right room. The location was perfect for us. Would stay again.
- Scott (10/5): - I was coming in for a funeral and the gentleman at the desk checked me in at 1am. Very appreciative.
- Amy (1/5): Pick someplace else to stay - I liked that they allow dogs. The place was dirty. Broken out windows, run down and dirty. Our bed had dirty sheets. Like bodily fluids on the sheets dirty. We slept fully dressed on top of a blanket from our car. The exhaust fan in the bathroom caked in filth and there was debris on the floor. I think it was dried vomit. The mattress was so uncomfortable, I'm still in pain from it. We were just looking for someplace half way to our destination. We should've driven straight thru.
- David (10/5): Nice relaxing weekend - Nice old motel.Very clean.Nothing fancy.Had everything you needed. Great location. Nice restaurant down the road. Will use again in the future. No problems
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jacquelyn (6/5): Pleasant -
- Shade (8/5): Definitely gonna stay there again. - It was cheap. Room was very clean and comfortable. Linens were washed. Did not have a complaint. The outside looks run down. But does not reflect the condition of inside the rooms.
- Smith (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (7/5): Good - Needs some updating but a decent place to spend the night.
- Richard (9/5): Pleasant stay - Location/ staff Na
- Rajendra (10/5): - The attendant at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. He answered my questions about places to visit nearby. He put me in a better room when I was not satisfied with the allotted room. He even came to my room to fix the TV.
- Daryl (7/5): Good -
- Autumn (8/5): Very good -
- Debra (4/5): - Our room was clean, but shabby. There was no mirror over the sink, capped wires where the light over the sink should have been, no hand towels, and bath towels were thin and dingy. That being said, the bed was very comfortable. There are not many hotels/motels in the area so we would probably stay there again if necessary.
- Earl (8/5): Very good -
- I4529QYtoms (8/5): Worth the price - clean - Clean, affordable, had good amenities. Better than expected. Not a 3 or 4 star hotel but it absolutely fit the bill for my stay looking for a place to crash for a night after visiting a friend in Duncannon. Water in shower was hot, air conditioning (heater) worked. Only minor annoyance was that when the heater kicked in, the bearings sounded a bit like a car alarm going off outside for a few seconds.
- Nathaniel (10/5): Reliable friendly people helped me to have a nice stay. - It is always nice and clean in the rooms and the bathrooms are modernized well. Good water pressure, good parking.
- Christine (4/5): - Old and a bit seedy. Not the worst lace, but the photos are jot totally accurate and paint a much rosier picture than what is accurate. Trucks and speeding cars go up and down the road all night long.
- Katie (6/5): - It’s ok. Nothing fancy. Close to the highway so a little bit noisy. Could definitely use a bit of TLC and some extra cleaning but it’s a place to lay your head when in need. The main office is super hot and smelled a little funny. Room was actually nicer than the main office/front desk area.
- Mary (10/5): Great value - Great value for the type of stay. I just wanted a clean comfortable stay as I was on a long trip. I
Had a small dog and they were very gracious about it.
- Gallegos (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Perfectly functional, clean, well located room at a great price. - Great location for fishing locally. Excellent price. Park right outside the room. It is on a major highway, so there is some noise. Nothing they could do about that. The room needs updating, but it was clean and comfortable. The bed was pretty good.
- Katie (6/5): - It was just ok. Nothing special. Could be updated and cleaned a little better.
- Good (8/5): Very good -
- Gallegos (10/5): Clean, Cozy and comfortable - Very clean , comfortable beds, friendly staff. Room was a little small but still cozy and fine.
- Gallegos (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very very clean, small but cozy, lots of channels, everything worked and felt very welcomed by all. Nothing, everything was completely comfortable and much nicer then expected for the price.
- Karyn (6/5): Pleasant - I liked that there was a king size bed. The facility was fine but not great. It is a bit tired and needs some improvements.
- Remy (8/5): Great place for the money - Nice, comfortable room for the price, but a little bit noisy for the rooms facing the road
- William (8/5): Very good - Price and location Nothing
- Shawn (4/5): Have stayed in the past in rooms 1 and 2 and was happy . room 6 was a disappointment - Cost was good , bed was clean bathroom had a sewer gas smell . shower curtain broken . room smell like had previously been smoked in . ROOM 6
- Thomas (8/5): - A decent place conveniently located for our purposes. Not upscale by any stretch, yet everything worked and housekeeping was excellent.
- Laura (8/5): - The room had a very comfortable bed.
