Guest Reviews
- João Guilherme (10/5): Great ryokan experience in a quieter part of Tokyo - Great breakfast, friendly staff and a cool Ryokan experience in a laid back Tokyo area

- Drahne (10/5): Cosy traditional Japanese accommodation in a quiet neighborhood - Quiet location in an otherwise busy Tokyo. A bit tricky to find, but worth it. I liked the traditional sleeping style on a mattress and the tatami floor. The Japanese style breakfast was great too. The slippers provided required toe socks, which I didn't have. Normal socks work, but were challenging on the stairs.
- Mariusz (10/5): - Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Wygodne pokoje, czyste pomieszczenia sanitarne i świetne gorące jacuzzi :)

- Sean (10/5): - Second time here -11 years apart. You get the 'ryokan' experience in Tokyo for a reasonable price. The staff could not be more friendly and the food was great. The location is very close to a convenient subway line. The jacuzzi is great after miles of walking. Great value.

M'hi he allotjat diverses nits, i ha estat molt agradable poder xerrar-hi i demanar recomanacions quan les he necessitat.
- Kyung Ok (8/5): - 친절함
- Tessa-Maria (10/5): Super schöner Aufenthalt - - sehr gutes und frisch zubereitetes japanisches Frühstück
- super nettes Personal

- theresa (9/5): Great location for an affordable stay near Asakusa - I added the breakfast option to my stay and was pleasantly surprised by how many options and how good the food tasted. The communal showers were bigger than I thought, along with the single room. All the staff were welcoming and made leaving my luggage there before checking in and after checking out easy. Location wise, it’s very close to asakusa and I was able to go to all of my last minute stops before flying out. It’s about 8 minutes from the subway, not the worse but can feel like forever after a long day of walking.

- Florian (10/5): - It's super cozy and a good deal. Especially having an authentic fresh made breakfast ncluded is really great.
We have been here for several nights. Definitely try the Japanese breakfast options!

- Marcin (10/5): TOP! Modern approach on a traditional ryokan! - Great modern ryokan/hotel with great staff in a central but calm location. IMHO one of the best out there. If you want a true Japanese experience don’t hesitate to book! Loved the blend of modern and tradition. Splendid breakfast!
Rien.
- Václav (9/5): - + Sympatický moderněji laděný ryokan
+ Čistota
+ Krásné a sympatické slečny mezi personálem, velmi ochotné pomoci a zpříjemnily nám pobyt
+ Viděli jsme, že podávají hezkou japonskou snídani
+ Kousek na metro
+ Možnost praní
+ Příjemná soukromá jacuzzi
+ Umožněný early check out

- Victoria (10/5): Perfect Tokyo Stay! - Loved my stay here - the rooms are lovely, quiet, glean and have everything you need, the shared facilities are always really clean and well stocked and the jacuzzi access is lovely! Location is always great and feels like a peaceful oasis in Tokyo.
A particular highlight of our stay here was the breakfast - it was DELICIOUS!! I had the vegan natto set breakfast which set me up perfectly.
We loved our stay here so much we cancelled our next accommodation and booked an extra night at Andon Ryokan which they were happy to accommodate.
- Joseph (7/5): - Loved the Futon bed style, felt great after a long day of walking as did the jacuzzi. Check in was easy and the staff is so helpful with the bags. They also have a really helpful poster with airport travel options that made our departure smooth.
Rien
- William (10/5): This was amazing little stay. It’s away from all the crowds, but only a 25 min train ride to all the places. The staff w - Loved the area it was in, near subway stations, quiet streets Nothing
- Cori (10/5): Perfect beginning for our stay in Japan! - Thé staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were incredible!
- Nathalie (10/5): -
- Oliver (8/5): - Delicious, filling breakfast. Nice jacuzzi private booking system. Very friendly staff. Room is very small and with limited options, but that was OK for us to just chill and sleep in the big city.
- Barbara (10/5): Unique small Ryokan with beautiful design and amazing food. - Andon Ryokan was one of my favourite places to stay in Japan (I was travelling in different areas of the country for 4 weeks). The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and I especially recommend the Japanese meals. The Ryokan is beautifully designed and maintained and it's very unique and aesthetically really beautifully put together environment. There is a private bath to book (simple process via speaking to reception to put your room number down for a time slot). The rooms are relatively small (I would say probably still actually good for Tokyo!) but for the size they are superbly equipped and put togehter. I also like Minowa as an area.
Big bonus also: there is a luggage lift! Nothing at all that I disliked. Everything was as described or better! :-) I don't think anything needs to be changed. If I would have changed anything I would have stayed longer! (I was on the way to Aomori the day I left.)
- Katrin (9/5): Very nice stay - The breakfast was delicious homemade Food. Very lovely prepared for your needs. The bathroom was extra clean, so it was no Problem sharing. I liked the Ryokan, but you Must be prepared to have a very small room
- Karen (9/5): -
- Sara (8/5): -
- William (9/5): - Really comfy beds - especially the pillows. Jacuzzi was lovely. In a quiet and peaceful area of Tokyo about 20-30 minutes away from the centre on the metro - but attractions such as the Senso-Ji shrine are in walking distance! Rooms were a bit small and walls were a bit thin so could hear what was going on in the room next door, but still had a great stay so neither were major issues.
- Kolev (8/5): -

- Potvin (10/5): -
- Michał (10/5): - Quiet neighbour but close to metro station. Very helpful staff
- scott (10/5): -
- guillermo (1/5): - I want to be honest to you since your place is a foreigner place
1. Bedroom is very small for a couple
2. Your batroom/ kitchen / toilet are outside and its sharing with other guest
3. No TV
4. Toilet is very important to anyone incase you have emergency need like pee so how can you use it if there some one using it because this is a common toilet ....
4. No elevator for senior citezen
And a lot more....really sad 🥺🥺🥺😢😢😢😢 Nothing ..not good place for visitor like me ..im just telling the truth no offence at all

- Ciarna (8/5): - Taka was great, beds were comfy The stairs
- He (9/5): This sort of property & the family who run it, bring an experience to life. So much more than somewhere to stay. - Cool, quirky and original interiors, exceptionally clean with very helpful friendly staff and lovely food. Excellent shower facilities with funky artwork., we were in low season so pretty much had the facilities to ourselves.. We were an adult family of 5 and all slept really well on the roll down beds. The really soft comfortable bedding was much appreciated after an exhilarating but very wet February day in Tokyo. We had a fabulous charcoal evening meal a short walk from Andon’s and there’s also a gorgeous bakery close by for extra treats. Nothing

- Anthonin (8/5): -
- Anneliese Juliet (9/5): Will stay again! - The traditional room was superb and the breakfast was some of the best food we had on our trip!!
- Lieke Jozefina Andrea (8/5): -
- Thalie (10/5): Ryokan charmant - Nous recommandons !
Rien
