Guest Reviews
- Fred (6/5): - More like a motel than a resort. OK for an overnight stop.
- Israel (10/5): - Good location and near the center. The staff were very nice, and the room was large.
- Matthew (10/5): - Lovely place. Old style solid wood builings. Musc bigger than you think. The flowers and grounds are very well maintained. Two great pools.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Kassy (6/5): - The accommodations were nice. It was a little loud, lots of travelers coming through with their bikes. We had bikes so we had no trouble getting around but if we didn’t have transportation not the most convenient location.
- Rosa (10/5): - For the price this is definitely a value. Nice room size and has balcony to relax outside
About 10 minutes walk to all the action and bus station . Don’t waste $100 baht on taxi it’s walkable from the train station
- KEN (8/5): - Was great for $27 you can't go wrong
- Richard (4/5): - The room is nice. Bed is typical Thai hard, maybe a little softer than Thai hard. Room is spacious and clean. Very nice shower and large restroom. Mini fridge but no microwave. HOWEVER, the staff maintains no control over the tourists who also stay here. The tourists mainly consist of younger westerner and European males. They part all throughout the night blasting music from within their room. All the rooms face each other so they sit outside their rooms and party and smoke marijuana and drink until 2am, 3am sometimes until daylight. There is no way of finding a quiet room since they all face each other. The resort staff do nothing to make them be quiet. They yell and laugh and sometimes scream and fight each other well into the night. This was during low season. It has got to be far worse during high season when there are many times more tourists. I would not recommended staying here and most definitely will never stay here again.
- Tilly-Mae (10/5): - The staff at the front desk were very polite and explained everything well in English. The room is quite spacious and the balcony is a lovely addition. I appreciated having free water and a mini-fridge too.
The WiFi was very temperamental but that didn’t affect me too much as I have a Thai sim.
- Nicholas (8/5): - Stayed 5 days. Relaxing quiet.
- Phantree (10/5): - Great stay in Pai. The staff are amazing and so kind to me. Thank you!
- hanchul (2/5): - 벌레가 너무 많고 헤어 드라이기,칫솔,면도기등이 준비되있지 않음.
- James (10/5): - Nice stay , good price and service
- James (8/5): - The Heart of Pai is in a great location. You can park right in front of your room. The room itself was pretty clean, spacious, with a little deck in front. The resort itself doesn't offer many amenities, but everything you need is nearby anyway. The price of the room is very reasonable. The bar across the street has live music, so expect some noise at night. If you prioritize private space in a good location, "The Heart of Pai Resort" is a great choice.
- Craig (10/5): - Very nice property, and the staff are amazing. My only ‘heads-up’ is that you should be aware that there’s a local nightclub across the street, which plays loud music, but this is usually only for a few hours each night (e.g. around 10:00 -11:20 p.m.). For me, the positive aspects of this property far outweighed the few hours of loud music.
- Michael (8/5): Good Value Stay in Pai - Walkable to the centre. Good sized rooms and en suite. Friendly helpful staff
- Patrick (10/5): - The room and bathroom is spacious modern and beautiful. The Air conditioning operates perfectly and the refrigerator is good. The TV only has 9 channel but wifi is operational. Bed and pillows are comfortable. I slept very well. I also like the front patio.
- Youpeng (10/5): - Nice place for vacation
- Camillo (10/5): - It’s not fancy, but I give it a 3.8/5
It’s worth the price very and although not right in the thick of things in Pai it’s a 5 minute walk to the centre
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, walking distance to the center of town.
Best value for the dollar. The welcoming front desk is not
Very friendly, but facility are clean and spacious.
- Jay (4/5): Paper thin walls. - Rude staff. Noisy paper thin walls. Can hear everything that happens outside and across the street.
Shower water does not get hot.
Key deposit. They treat you like a criminal before you even check in. Prices on the wall for everything in the room. They have a sign threatening to charge you if you leave the room dirty. Guests must ASK to have the room cleaned, it's not standard procedure.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - A decent place with a friendly staff, but a bit outdated. Hard bed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Pretty average - I would say this place is very average for Pai. It's extremely central, so was good for the first night. However, it is very busy and noisy and rather soulless. Also there is a building site next door that makes construction noise all throughout the day. Great if you want to stay very central and the rooms and clean, but not a friendly place. Dodgy wifi that only worked intermittently.
- sepehr (4/5): One night stay - The place is isolated. So make sure you have cash or you can use CC with a little extra charge. Shower is with salt water, which with the added heat and lack of air conditioning made the stay very uncomfortable. Wifi did not work. I asked for help and they were very rude and just tried to brush me off. Would not go back.
- Nickolas (8/5): Great location and value - Nicely located on the edge of town, within walking distance of everything. Bathroom is dated but for the price, a nice value
- Diego (8/5): Good location, big room with balcony. - Very well located. Comfortable room with a big balcony. Very kind staff. Restaurants and shops at walking distance.
- Michael (8/5): Ok hotel for the money. Inside decor not very appe - Good budget hotel. Beds were ok. Room was big but no paint on walls. Felt like a concrete box.
- Jarod (10/5): Great stay - Easy fast check in. I arrived very early from chiang mai and they let me check in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic room, quiet location. - Hotel could be a real gem with a few touches. Comfortable basic room with balconies overlooking garden path. Bathroom however needs a deep scrub. Staff are kind and helpful though not strong in English. (They are far better in English than I am in Thai. We had no issues but sorting something complicated could be a challenge). Quiet location with easy walk to all the action.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Heart of Pai - Clean and near to cafe, restaurants and night market only need to walk 5mins from the resort. The hotel is one of the tourist check in place. For us , the bed to too hard.
- B (6/5): - The front rooms of the hotel are extremely to a bar that plays loud music until late.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Bathroom lets the place down - Location was good, only a short walk to the walking street but a bit noisy at night. (Guests especially loud banging and shouting!!) The bedroom is spacious and the bed is comfy but the bathroom lets this place down. There are bugs everywhere and the shower can’t be warm and powerful; it’s one or the other. The walls look a bit odd but nothing major. Overall decent place.
- Joshua (8/5): Good - Nice room, warm shower, comfy bed, friendly cleaning staff. 5 minute walk from town.
- Kenneth (8/5): Okay hotel - A good "resort" in Pai. Reception staff was slightly less welcoming than the most of the other hotels/motels/resorts that I have stayed in the past. The bathroom needs a little bit of updating but I can't complain since I only stayed here for one night. Parking is right next to the building in the grassy area. Make sure you spray yourself with a lot of bug spray because this area has a lot of mosquitoes. This location is a short walk to the market.
- Graham (8/5): Great budget hotel - Wonderful staff, both reception and room cleaning staff. Rooms are modern and always very clean. Bed hard as with most Thailand hotels. Rooms need security boxes. Close to down town. Far enough away for the hotel to be quite. Would recommend this hotel to other travelers.
- Natalie (8/5): - Good spot to stay in Pai, a short walk from everywhere you want to be. Hotel staff helpful enough. Absolutely loved Pai so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway but when we did it was an easy place to relax!
- Wensheng (2/5): Very bad experience stay at The Heart of Pai Resor - Very bad attitude from reception manager even fighting with guest, ask reception manager give me the resort manager's name or phone number need to complain her so bad attitude, she just told me will no possible give me her manager's name or phone number, let me directly leave the message to hotel booking, they don't worry any bad review or feedback, they will never want to improve them service mind and attitude.
By the way, I only stay this resort two night, and the second middle night, they change the lock in the room just opposite of my room, they didn't consider any of disturb or noise bring to guest even in the middle night, very bad expericence for me stay only 2 night in "The Heart of Pai Resort"
- Sarah (10/5): Really nice place ! - The best place so far of our travel in Thailand. Staff was very nice, polite and professional. Room with AC was really nice, tidy and charming. Very good location !
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect budget traveller hotel - Located about a 5 minute walk from the walking street, parking for your scooter, very clean. Needs new blinds thoigh. It was bright in the morning. Very happy with my stay.
- asia (8/5): - Hotel was a nice 8 minute walk from the main strip. Bed was very comfortable. Complimentary water unless you take the bottle they then charge 20 baht.
- TIZIANA (8/5): Good for the price - Good location, spacious room
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to everything! - This hotel was amazing for the price we paid for it!!!
- charles (10/5): Very good place for couples to stay no soon thoug - Oh very nice place to stay quiet just on the border of Newtown and Oldtown everything within easy walking distance 711 just over the road filling station didn't feel surrounded really nice place to stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place for a bit more quiet experience. You can still walk to the market very easily but it is quiet. We heard some music but nothing to loud.
- stephen (8/5): Winter - They did good job
- Cheng (10/5): A bite Smiling when check into room. - some said not cleanness .
- denise (10/5): Best place we have during our chiangmai /pai tour - 3mins walking to the walking street , where u can find all the food to eat ,beverage to drink and souvenir
yet it is not right in it where become too noisy to you
the Veranda is the best place to chill with friends , where we can smoke , eat and drink ...as long as not too noisy to others :)
facilities are simple yet complete , cant ask for more for this price ! absolutely will come back if i ever go Pai again !
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very comfortable - Rooms very nice for the price, plenty of hot water and good aircon.
Only issue was when booked hotel booking stated free breakfast only to find out no breakfast available. No biggy as there are heaps of dinning options available from early in the morning to late at night
- Verified traveler (10/5): Spacious, clean hotel close to Main Street - Very clean, modern accommodations, wish we had stayed longer.
- Sunghee (8/5): Good to stay - Charming good valuehotel.
Close enough to walking street (700m) and spacious room. There were some bugs in the room but i've been to Pai many times, you can't avoid whereever you stay. The beds were hard but it's typical thai style. I think it was good for the value!
