• Hendrika (8/5): Top verblijf! Rustig en heerlijk zwembad. - Mooie accommodatie met een heerlijk zwembed met goede ligbedden! Heel fijn dat er een apart peuterbadje is. Personeel uitermate vriendelijke en heel behulpzaam. Ontbijt was lekker; toast met jam, vers fruit, ei en typische zoete pani pol. En de beste koffie die ik bij een hotel heb gedronken in Sri Lanka. Het ligt buiten het centrum, dus je hebt wel een tuktuk of ander vervoer nodig om ergens te komen.

• Sheila (7/5): A comfortable place to stay if you intend to join the safari - The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our request for specifications with our meal. We asked for some curry to be reheated, which they did. My chidren enjoyed the pool, fries which they sent to the pooside. We enjoyed sitting in the restaurant area. Most 3-star hotels don't do shower curtains, which is strange because a shower would leave the whole bathroom wet. The mosquitoes are also a nuisance, but the staff provided mosquito coils. One major issue is that the tiles underwater in the pool have some sharp edges, which my kids have cut themselves while playing,g but only noticed after coming out of the pool.

• Anke (9/5): Waar voor je geld. - Super vriendelijk personeel!! Hele ruime kamer met fijne bedden, goede douche. Mega uitgebreid ontbijt!! Meerdere scherpe randjes bij het zwembad waardoor beide kinderen een sneetje in hun voet en been kregen. Relatief veel stof ed op de kamer.

• Anita (8/5): Komfortowy rodzinny pobyt z dobrym śniadaniem i basenem - Pokój rodzinny był przestronny, z jednym dużym łóżkiem i dwoma pojedynczymi, co zapewniało wygodny wypoczynek. Goście mogli korzystać z ciepłej wody, a smaczne śniadanie serwowane o wybranej godzinie stanowiło miły początek dnia. Dodatkowo, w pokoju było wystarczająco dużo miejsca, a spory basen pozwalał na relaks i zabawę. Woda w basenie była nieco brudna, a oświetlenie w pokojach zbyt ciemne, co mogło utrudniać wieczorne czynności. Brak stolika uniemożliwiał wygodną pracę w pokoju, a dodatkowym minusem była brak możliwości wynajęcia pokoju dla kierowcy.

Noi abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel una notte essendo estremamente comodo per il Safari nel Yala National Park. Abbiamo anche cenato nel ristorante della struttura senza prenotazione di ritorno dal Safari e la cena è stata ottima. Anche la colazione è risultata abbondante e davvero buona. La camera in cui eravamo era spaziosa, abbastanza pulita e con una zanzariera che copriva bene il letto. In definita una buona esperienza. A pagamento del conto ci siamo accorti troppo tardi che il prezzo segnato per le birre che avevamo preso a cena era esattamente il doppio rispetto a quanto riportato sul listino, in più come rapporto qualità prezzo non è il massimo non essendo molto economica.

• Jasmin (9/5): - Der Pool war sehr groß und sauber, und es gab Bälle im Pool das die Kinder Spielen konnten. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber, nur die Klospülung war sehr laff. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Uns hat das Hotel sehr gefallen.

La piscina muy agradable . 10 min andando de restaurantes Hola del check-out un poco justa para los que necesitan pasar por allí después de un safari en Yala. Limpieza en límites aceptables . Aconsejaría poner también toalla de manos, no solo de ducha.

• Matt (7/5): Great location close to the National Parks, not great food and unsafe pool. - Really lovely staff who gave us the best welcome and were fantastic in organising our tours to Yala National Park. Rooms were large and clean Nice large pool The pool has razor sharp edges on the steps of the shallow children’s pool. Our daughter cut her shin badly leading to permanent scars. Not happy. The tiles around the pool are very slippery when wet. Slipped over at least once every time we swam even when walking carefully. The food isn’t great. First night, we had the buffet. There is an al a carte option but we were told it was a 45 minute wait. Also dinner is far too late at 7:30pm, ridiculous when the morning tours start at 5am. All other hotels we stayed at had the kitchen open all day.

• Gareth (9/5): Great place to stay with old world charm and a great pool. - Our breakfast was excellent. The pool was a highlight. This was one of the last places we stayed in Sri Lanka and it was really nice to have a big pool on the warm days. Our room was very comfortable. The common areas between the rooms were excellent for our group to meet and play games. Our room did not have a fridge which would have been handy.

Accueil très chaleureux, tout le personnel est aux petits soins et le petit déjeuner était bon. Les chambres sont mal insonorisées nous avons été souvent réveillées par les oiseaux et les chiens qui se sont donnés de concert.

• Alfred (9/5): Super! - Fantastisch zwembad! Heel vriendelijk personeel dat altijd klaar staat om je te helpen. Alles in het hotel is schoon en netjes, zo ook de kamers. De familiekamer is ruim en ruime bedden. Goed eten in het restaurant. We hadden het hotel gevraagd voor een tuktuk om ons naar het meer te brengen om de vleerhonden te zien. Een erg vriendelijke man gaf ons een uitgebreide rondleiding. Erg leuk! Ook safari naar Yala via het hotel geregeld. Podu was een erg ervaren en goede gids/chauffeur.

The location is great for that and the staff was very kind to have a very nice breakfast prepared for takeaway as we needed to leave at 5am. Overall the staff is very nice and the services is good They don’t clean your room unless you ask for it. The rooms look nicer in the pictures
• sylvain (9/5): A faire - Peackcook rich Hotel luxieux de prime abord avec son architecture : grandes portes, hauts plafonds, carrelage style marbre. Chambre spacieuse et propre. A la decouverte on se dit qu'il merite 4*. Nous y avons passe 3 nuits Il nous a été proposé de faire le menage de notre chambre pendant le safari et nos serviettes ont ete changees. Vegetation bien entretenu 1 belle piscine avec deux bassins illuminés la nuit. Le service est exceptionnel. Localisation ok : - environ 20 km du parc de yala. - 2, 5 km du centre ville mais pas d'interet a être proche du centre. Meme le temple de Tissamahara vija .. ne vaut pas le detour car il n'y a pas d'interieur à visiter. Autour de l'hotel on trouve quelques bon restaurant a 10 min de marche : flavor restaurant, chef lady peu cher. De plus, l'hotel fait restaurant et les prix sont raisonnables, sauf les boissons la bouteille d'eau est a 400 LKD et la biere 1400 LKR mais ils mettent une fontaine à eau à disposition et il y a une bouteille d'eau dans la chambre Le petit dejeuner est tres bien. Vous pouvez demander le petit dejeuner Sri lankais qui est très bon et très copieux. Nous avons passe un tres bon moment dans cet hotel. L'endroit est agreable et propre. Le personnel est au petit soin. La literie est ok. . Les -: - les installations sanitaires : - Le lavabo était bouché et l'evacuation du papier toilette s'evacue mal. Quand on l a signale, ils sont intervenus immediatement. Le lavabo a ete debouché, mais malgre le remplacement du mecanisme des toilettes , une legere amelioration. Il faut prendre le jet d'eau pour casser le papier toilette et ca sen va. - une fuite sous le lavabo apres intervention sur debouchage mais reparee aussitot a notre signalement. - L'eau chaude moyen. - la piscine il semble que les carreaux soient un peu coupants par endroit car les enfants ressortaient a chaque fois avec des petites coupures sous les doigts de pieds. Nous les adultes n'avons rien eu. Nous lavons signale a la fin du sejour. - il y a une tele mais pas de signal...( on est en vacances on ne la regarde pas donc on a rien demande, cest peut etre juste une histoire de reglage). - les draps : quelques trous par endroits.

• Madeline (8/5): Très bien - Proximité du parc de Yala ( 30mn). Nous avons reservé le safari avec l' hôtel. Super guide, nous avons eu beaucoup de chance. Petit déjeuner emballé pour le safari. Nous étions seuls dans l'hôtel et avons pu profiter de la piscine après notre safari du matin. Grande chambre spacieuse avec moustiquaire sur chaque lit. La chaleur et l'odeur de la salle de bain.
• Roberto (9/5): In die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft mit freundlichem Personal! - Die Pool Anlage und das Personal waren toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch das Frühstück TO GO für unseren Safari Ausflug in den Yala National Park war super und stand in den frühen Morgenstunden rechtzeitig bereit! Die Betten und das Mückennetz war ebenfalls in Ordnung. Wir waren in der Low Season da und waren glaube ich die einzigen Gäste, immer speziell für mich aber OK. Das Bad war grau, die Spülung der Toilette nicht kräftig und die Klimaanlage sehr alt und ebenfalls grau. Meiner Meinung nach Bedarf es einer leichten Erneuerung, zumindest in dem Zimmer das wir hatten.

• Rick (8/5): - Prima overnachtingsplek voor een bezoek aan het yala national park. Prijs kwaliteit is prima. Ontbijt werd klaargezet als take away voor ons vroege bezoek aan yala national park. Dit is goed geregeld. Diner was prima Zwembad heeft diverse hoogtes, fijn voor de kinderen. Niet veel restaurants in de omgeving waardoor je al snel er voor moet kiezen om bij het hotel te eten, wat echter prima was.

A prix imbattable! Merci encore Piscine immense et à l'ombre avec de nombreux transats. Lits tres confortable Repas possible sur place et tres copieux! Rien tout etait tres bien, seul peut etre le rajout d'un frigo dans les chambres pour garder l'eau au frais et le manque de commerce a proximité.

• Frank (7/5): schöner Garten mit Pool - Das Beste war der Pool. Hier konnte man schön schwimmen und sich erfrischen. Das Frühstück war im Vergleich zu anderen Übernachtungen eher nicht so gut. Es war langweilig. Auch das Dinner ist nicht zu empfehlen. Das Hotel ist etwas abseits. Es braucht ein Tuk-Tuk um in die Stadt zu kommen.

• Merethe Bech (8/5): - Stayed here for 3 nights and we all loved the pool that was very nice and clean placed in the center yard of the hotel. Rooms were big spacious and clean but with no view and they could need a bit of love and needed a bit refreshment. Highlight was the staff they all did their outmost to make thinks comftable and a success for all of us throughout our stay. Lower end of pool needs a review had some sharp edges that kids were scratching their feed on Location a bit boring with very few restaurants around but with easy short 30-35 min drive to Yala entrance

Excelentes lobby, zona de restaurante y una gran piscina. Buen desayuno y personal muy amable. Contratamos con ellos el safari en Yala por un precio similar a otras ofertas que habíamos visto. El único pero es que el hotel está en una zona muy residencial, y hay que caminar bastante si quieres buscar algún restaurante o ir al centro de Tissa. Tienes la opción de cenar en el hotel (cosa que hicimos) pero no destaca por ofrecer una gastronomía espectacular.

The purpose of our stay was to do the Safari in Yala at 5am so didnt really use the pool at all as we was on the move. Nothing it served our purpose

Miły gest ze strony hotelu - o 5:30 rano przygotowali nam smaczne breakfast boxes a potem pozwolili nam na późniejsze wymeldowanie po powrocie z safari.
• Alice (7/5): Positivo per lo staff - La struttura risulta pulita e accogliente, con ampi spazi. Lo staff sempre presente e pronto ad aiutarvi ed eventualmente organizzare anche i Safari. La nostra guida Podi è stata molto gentile e preparata. La stanza è ampia e ben curata; la zanzariera copriva bene l’intero letto. Presente anche il bollitore con il necessario e una bottiglia di acqua in omaggio. Inoltre il gestore l’ultimo giorno si è premurato di accompagnarci gratuitamente presso la stazione dei bus. Molto gentile. La piscina non è propriamente come nelle foto. Nonostante fossimo gli unici ospiti nessuno si è premurato di sistemare i materassi dei lettini, i quali non erano particolarmente puliti, anzi… Nei servizi offerti c’era anche la lavanderia, lo staff però ci ha spiegato che si appoggiavano ad una lavanderia esterna. Gli abbiamo affidato dei nostri vestiti e il risultato però non è stato per niente positivo: i vestiti risultavano ancora macchiati (molto !!) e non del tutto asciutti. Ci siamo rimasti molto male anche perché non è per niente economico.

• Enrique (6/5): No lo recomiendo - Cerca parque nacional Yala. Tienen un problema con los bichos en habitaciones y zonas comunes.
• Luis (9/5): Perfecto!! - Lo mejor la piscina..buena temperatura y limpia. Habitación grande. Camas comodas. Buen aire acondicionado. El personal super amable y simpático. Buen desayuno. Impecable!!!
• Andreas (9/5): - Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Das Abendessen und Frühstück war gut. Der Pool war sehr gepflegt das Wasser war klar. Die Kinder freuten sich besonders über die Bälle im Pool. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr das modernste. Die Stühle konnte man mal austauschen.

• Desiree (10/5): Ottima esperienza! - Hotel bellissimo e comodo per il Yala National Park. La struttura ha organizzato tutto per il nostro Safari. La stanza era molto pulita e ben tenuta in base agli standard del posto. La piscina è la vera perla di questo posto. Lo staff è stato super disponibile nell’accogliere le nostre richieste: due delle mie amiche sono celiache e hanno sempre cucinato senza glutine per loro. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene e in quantità molto abbondante! Super consigliato! Niente.
