Guest Reviews
- Samuel (9/5): Superb - Really nice big outdoor space, and cute comfortable cabins. Friendly staff. A 5 minute drive into town. Our hot water wasn't working.
- Zhane (10/5): Amazing views - Beautiful accommodation with amazing views of the mountains. Clean and quiet, big room. A bit out of the way of the main area but fine if you have a bike.
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (3/5): Poor -
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deyanira (8/5): Very good - Beautiful place. Was unique, worth staying.
The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The room smelled like mould and the smell from the pipes was strong in the bathroom also.
Is not well explained what house type you get when booking. Would be ideal if pictures were included with the names for each type of room/house.
- Chloe (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (8/5): Very good -

- Omer (9/5): Amazing and beautiful - This place is Amazing!
The view from the rooms is amazing.
The staff are so kind and happy to assist with a big smile.
I love the location, 5 min driving with a scooter to get to the city center. In the room we had a smell of mold
- Natalie (8/5): If you have your own transport the view is beautiful. - The property had a beautiful view of the mountains, the cabin was clean and cutely kitschy and the staff were friendly. The property was probably about 2.5 kms out of town. I did walk in one morning but would not want to do it at night. There is no restaurant on the property either so you do need to go into town to eat. They do provide breakfast which I did not try. They will also pick up and drop off into town. They were especially reliable in the evening between 4 and 10. But didn’t answer the phone during the day. This could be overcome with hiring a scooter ( no taxis/grab/tuktuks in Pai) but as I do not like scooters it made the location quite restrictive.
The property is also quite rundown looking. There was only the bed and two pouffe type things to sit on but I used them to put my suitcase on.
- Komn (8/5): Very good -
- Satjaporn (9/5): Superb -
- Venetheo (9/5): Superb -
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and helpfull staff. Was a great experience in Mari Pai!
Thank you very much
- Meir (10/5): Perfection - The grandpa was so sweet and welcoming us It’s very dark at night but it was nice
- Tan (8/5): Very good - Located at The Giant tree swing. One of the most popular attractions in Pai .
- YUEH-TING (8/5): - 自然環境很好,東西好吃,但晚上附近有晚會,太吵了
- Jia (7/5): Good - The design of the room. Creative hangers The light isn't bright enough that give you a romance feeling. Haha. Several times of blackout (just 1 second tho) happened in one of the room we had, and the same room having toilet issue as well, couldnt flush properly. It is room 16 btw. Didn't provide a proper pathway to walk to the room, have to walk pass the grass which it became wet especially after the rain. Thick mosses on the floor downhill and it is slippery especially after the rain. Maybe 2 years after pandemic hence things are not well maintained esp the kettle.
- Low (2/5): - We have booked for 2 rooms but your centre sent one room information to the resort. The staff person incharge Of the counter served us with bad and not politely manner to us. Bad experience.
- PENG YEW (8/5): Good & Cozy Stay Experience in Pai - Overall stays was fine, but the condition of the room was abit run down, maybe lack of maintenance. The water heater doesnt provide sufficient hot water as the weather at night is at 12℃ & 6℃ in the morning during our stay on end of Jan 2018.
Breakfast was good as it was buffet style on the 1st & 2nd day but the last day of breakfast during our stay was Set meal, kind of lack of food.
- mick947 (10/5): Nice palce - Me and my wife have wonderful stay this place . Room is good . View is very nice from hotel . I wish I can stay more this place ... really nice place to stay . highly recommend to this place . Giri From Chiang mai
- Hui Fun (6/5): - i checked in hotel around 9.30pm. & checked out at 9.30am next day. So I don' t spend much time in the hotel. I felt regret that just stay one night in pai.
- calvinchan1217 (8/5): very nice hotel but worst breakfast - I stay mobile-home room with friend, bed is big enough and can accomodate 3 adult. we feel fresh when staying this room, and the aircond is functioning good in the noon(Pai is very hot that day).
one of my friend pay 500 baht for extra person with breakfast without bed, but that is surprising me because the next day morning is not BUFFET.you can only choose one set from three option in their menu.
wifi is one of the problem also..keep reconnecting and no functioning in mobilehome area..
- 556PaulC (10/5): Perfect place. - Funky place to stay, not overcrowded, a chilled out place, nice accommodation, clean, friendly staff. The place is just outside the main town, just a five minute motorcycle ride. Bike here is the best way to travel. The place has a nice breakfast area/ dinning. But the place is mainly used as a base for your travels. In a nut shell, good value, clean and well maintained. It's not 5 star, it's practical for travel.
- stevie0020 (8/5): very nice resort - The garden or the resort itself is nicely decorated. The swinging-chair-tree is the absolute highlight there. Nice view, cute houses (resort-rooms), lovely garden. A must visit for every Pai visitor. Excellent for taking photos there.
- Erikthomp (8/5): Great atmosphere decent location - The hotel is located far away from the town but it has great view of the mountain and nature beauty. It was quite cold in the early morning so bring your jacket in case. I did really enjoy the fresh air here in the morning. Close to The Big Tree and lovely coffee shops.
- edithruby (6/5): Nice landview, but very cold at night - This is a resort with nice landview, and locates outside the town. You can see very beautiful scene from your room. But it seems this is the only good point of this resort.
Some issues:
1. Very cold at night, and the bed/quilt is not warm at all. I catch a cold and feel uncomfortable during the second night here. Air conditioner can not provide heating function.
2. The room is small and not very comfortable.
3. Breakfast options is limited. and it seems not Thai style.
No motobike for rent within this resort.
- mylee2013 (6/5): Stunning View - This resort has a really stunning mountain view, just right in front of our room, the environment of the resort also looks great, with all kind of relaxing facilities and creative decoration. One of the famous Pai attraction, The Big Tree, is located in the resort too. The room is cute and clean, what I don't like about it is the room is too small, very low pressure shower and no daily room service (need special request). They also served very basic breakfast with only toast and coffee, the staff are friendly but can not speak well in English. They also provide free shuttle service from resort to town centre.

- 368cherryc (10/5): Good choice of relaxing - The location is a little bit far from town of pai, but the view was perfect, everything is designed nicely especially the big tree swing. After 3 hrs mini van and felt really worth to take such long and tough journey. Wish could visit again. the only concern was the breakfast which only bread is free. and air con is a little bit noisy for those who can't sleep well.
- barefeettraveler17 (10/5): perfect secluded place to stay. - Stayed in a Baan Rangnok for 2 days and it was totally worth it. Away from the hustle of bustle of the city. Shuttle bus service was always ready if you needed to go to the town. I have been to Pai 5 times but this was my first time traveling here, alone. And what matters the most is it was really quiet at night. Will definitely coming back for sure.
- QHe (8/5): Nice quiet place for relax - Regarless of the location which is a bit out off the town but not far. Regardless of the staff working here who speak very sufficient English but smile all the time. We definately love the view once step into the resort. The mountain view so far yet look so real with a village spreading in between.
Our rangnok room is small but clean & comfortable. Surpricingly you still find TV & Fridge in there.
That is when we started to stock up beers from 7eleven nearby.
- Ram0ne (6/5): Mari - Pai Resort - Many hand paint colorful arts surrounded the resort. Given the choice of 2 style accommodations. The economic option is a tiny fan room made of recycled wooden container box. There's a little TV in the corner with not many channel and mostly in Thai. The small toilet with shower is attached. We found the room is a bit too small and cram. It's even hard to walk out of the room without hitting the bed. The better option is the bungalow style that looks almost like an Indian hut with AC. The resort layout is in hill levels. So there'll be walking up and down to get to the lobby. 5 minutes walk on the road from the resort there's a famous coffee shop called "Coffee in Love" which appeared in a few movies. So the local tourists like to go there for photograph and sight-seeing. (don't expect the coffee quality to be like Starbucks or you'll be disappointed.)
