- Haruka (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Mohammed Mutlak Camp. The location in the middle of the desert is beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views, especially at sunset and sunrise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they took great care of us. The jeep tour was a fantastic way to explore Wadi Rum, and the food at the camp was delicious. The tents were comfortable and clean, and the evening around the fire with tea and stargazing was unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Wadi Rum!
- Guest (10/5): So sweet place - An amazing Wadi Rum experience! Beautiful desert, great tours, and wonderful people. Highly recommend.

- Zeid (10/5): 10/10 , thank you Guys ! - My stay in Wadi Rum was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine Bedouin hospitality that made me feel at home. The desert landscape itself is breathtaking – endless red sand dunes, towering cliffs, and skies full of stars at night.
The camp was comfortable and authentic, perfectly balancing tradition with modern touches. The meals were delicious, freshly prepared, and shared around the fire in a warm atmosphere. I also joined a jeep tour and a short hike, which gave me the chance to explore hidden canyons, ancient carvings, and some of the most beautiful viewpoints I’ve ever seen.
What made the experience truly special was the people – kind, knowledgeable guides who shared stories about the desert, their culture, and their way of life. Watching the sunset over the mountains and then sleeping under a sky full of stars was pure magic.
I would highly recommend Wadi Rum to anyone visiting Jordan. It’s not just a trip – it’s an experience you’ll carry with you forever.

We had the best time staying at this camp in Wadi Rum. The tents were super comfortable, and the setup made us feel immersed in the beauty of the desert. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even arranged a jeep tour for us—it was thrilling to explore the stunning landscapes. Sitting under the stars by the campfire, sharing stories with friends, was the highlight of our trip. If you’re looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation, this is the place to be

- Giulia (10/5): Perfect Blend of Comfort and Nature - Staying at Muhammed Mutlak Camp was the highlight of our Jordan trip. The tents were cozy yet gave us a sense of being close to nature. We loved the camel ride and sandboarding activities, which were both exhilarating and fun. The evenings were serene, with a campfire and traditional music. A truly memorable stay!
- Mike (10/5): One of the best experiences in my life, thank you guys - Amazing and quiet place in the heart of desert. The zarb dinner was amazing to see and delicious. The sky wasn’t clear but the atmosphere was wonderful
- Ahmed (10/5): Very kind staff, amazing people, see you again in January - Just wow, we enjoyed every single moment. The Bedouin tea was amazing and the staff are very friendly. We sat around the fire and had some really great time. See you again in January
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Saadia (7/5): Overall a good place to stay for one night, good value for money. They arranged an excursion in the jeep at sunset which - Good food, friendly staff. Sockets were loose in in the room .
- Attila (10/5): Exceptional - Salem and his family are incredibly helpful. We had been Wadi Rum a couple of years ago, so we asked him to put a half-day program for us that we hadn't been to before. He took us to beautiful places and Salem's son even showed us how to climb chicken rock. We loved it all. From smoking shisha by the fire to the end of the tour.
- Gnesoulis (9/5): Superb -
- Brandon (10/5): An amazing experience with local Bedouins - The Bedouin people working at the camp were amazing and shared great experiences with us, we’re incredibly knowledgeable of the area and increased
- Henrik (9/5): Superb - Yousef, Salem and our tour guide treated us very well. They were extraordinarily hospitable and accommodating.
I sincerely recommend this camp.
- Aimed (10/5): Great stay and great host - Zain is such a very attentive host, very kind and generous
A big thank's to Zain and Yasser, the guide with whom we made a great ride trough wadi rum marvels
- Eamon (10/5): Exceptional - Had a fantastic stay here! Such a nice camp in a fabulous location. The staff here were great. Great food, service and facilities. Arranged a Jeep safari and got lot of advice for other activities in the area. Highly recommend staying here when in Wadi Rum. Excellent hospitality and value!
- Ve (10/5): Perfect escape to the desert! - Amazing location! Really nice people and the food was sooo good! The jeep tour was absolutely amazing so was the camel ride during sunset!
- Melanie (10/5): Once in a. - Staff were very helpful, location is amazing and all amenities needed are available.
We booked the one night stay, with one day 4x4 your and camel sunset ride. Fahad was our driver for the day trip and was amazing, he cooked us a delicious lunch from scratch and gave us history and facts at all of the stops. We stopped at more locations than I was expecting so I would say this was great value for money - sand dune snowboarding, climbing through canyons, amazing view points and photo opportunities.
Hussein helped us with the camel ride and it was amazing watching the sunset with these lovely animals. They were very friendly and well looked after - and very affectionate to Hussein which was lovely to see. Great photo opportunities and an amazing experience all round.
At night we had a meal cooked underground which was cool to see, with plenty of accompaniments and desert. All was very tasty. Star gazing at the night around a fire pit was lovely and completed our stay.
We were told to park at a location which was a private car park owned by the camp. It is a bumpy road to get there - but worth it. It was free and our car felt very safe. When you drive into wadi rum a lot of people tried to park our car for us for a fee (not part of this camp) so make sure to follow directions the camp provide! Nothing it was a great stay and amazing
- Mireiamasclet (10/5): Exceptional - Great experience and great people. We took the half day trip with Farhad and he showed us all the places we needed to see!
- Carolina (10/5): Exceptional - The atmosphere was just perfect, we were expecting a unique experience and this definitely met our expectations. Very comfortable bed and the facilities were enough for our needs. We did a full day tour with Zuzu...just the best you can get, very nice and polite guy, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the sunset from a dune. The shared facilities could benefit from some renovation.
- Amandine (10/5): Amazing experience - Very friendly staff and amazing dinner in Bedouins way (BBQ under the sand)
Atmosphere is very chill and cosy.
Everything is super clean and amazing facilities compared to some other places we stayed in Jordan. We found the 4x4 hike expensive and decided not to do it. However we could not do anything else at the camp due to very high temperatures in the pm. I would recommend organising your day prior arrival.
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - We really loved our stay in Mohammed Mutlak Camp! The personal is really kind and generous!
It was our two best nights in Jordan in terms of comfort. The food is really good!
We took a full day tour in Jeep to know more about the Wadi Rum desert and we really recommend it! Our guide Yaseen was really fun and make our day incredibly cool!! Thank you Yaseen, Salem and all the team of Mohammed Mutlak Camp!!
Jessica & Roberto
- Jack (10/5): It was beautiful! - Salem, Marhuan, and all the staff were very pleasant. They had a good attitude even when we told we just wanted to relax at the camp. The food and the views around the camp were amazing. We would do it again.
- Alisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): - Staying in Wadi Rum is an unforgettable experience, and the Mohammed Mutlak camp is a great base to do so. The sunset Jeep tour is incredible (Fahad was a fantastic guide) and the sunrise camel ride is really good too.
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (8/5): Very nice camp, i recommend it - The place is amazing, the camp is well located and very clean with facilities and wifi also! You can enjoy a very beautiful sunset and also reserve for dîner with tasty food.

- Aynoor (10/5): I always choose this camp for so many reasons! The quiet atmosphere to enjoy stargazing!! - Every single thing! Everyth was just perfect
- Laith (9/5): Superb - Great. Everything was perfect. Service was up to standard. Food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Very punctual. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Nothing to mention
- Laith (9/5): Probably the best authentic campsite in Rum - Everything went perfectly smooth from the reservation to check-out. Replies to questions was instant and additional requests were easily met. Very punctual and that included pick-up to go to camp, drop-off, dinner, breakfast and everything else. Staff were very friendly and always there to help. We reserved additional dinner which was extremely delicious. Location is great in very calm area of wadi rum with a few hills around that provides nice panoramic views. Rooms were spacious, tidy and clean. The toilets and showers were also clean. In general, highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience an authentic simple night at Rum Nothing.
- Mohamed (8/5): Value for money - The location, food and hospitality The location of toilets
- Tiax.83 (10/5): I highly recommend it to anyone who is even thinking about it a little. - I can’t praise our accommodation in the desert camp enough! It was an amazing adventure, made possible by our great guide Fahad. He was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us beautiful places. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, full of flavors and aromas. The camp was clean, comfortable and safe. Staying in the desert was the best experience we have ever had. I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something unforgettable! I have absolutely nothing to criticize, it was a truly unforgettable experience.
- Izabela (10/5): Amazing place, exceeded our expectations - It's the oldest camp in Wadi Rum, staff is very welcoming and genuine, food was amazing, bathrooms very clean. Beds were extremely comfy, we had a great sleep at night. Sunrise and sunset looks breathtaking from that location, which is very remote. The owner is an amazing person, helped us with trips, gave plenty of good advise. The common area looks great, we stayed at the camp alone, so we were there with the staff, which felt very private and quiet, but it must be a nice experience to stay with bigger group as well. I'd recommend the stay to everybody who likes nature, stargazing etc. This place it's not just an accommodation, it's and experience.
- Yazan (1/5): Bad - Nothing as i didnt even get to experience it , they didnt even let me in i had to sleep in my car in the middle of the desert i didnt even get to experience it , they didnt even let me in i had to sleep in my car in the middle of the desert
- Ilyas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luca (10/5): Exceptional - Simply the best - that’s how we can describe this unforgettable experience.
The camp has all the facilities you need - great rooms, very modern toilets, delicious food and great people!
We stayed at Mutlak Camp two nights, one day we did a jeep tour with Fahad, who was such a great guide, he drove us all around the desert, also prepared a delicious beduine lunch and he gave us a lot of nice stories of beduine life!
We can truly say that thanks to the great organisation of the Camp we have spent one of the most amazing and exciting holidays in our life!
- Türkaslan (8/5): Very good -

- Nabil (7/5): Good -
- Alvarominguezrixdf102770 (10/5): Very very tidy and comfortable -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pierre (10/5): Greatest experience in Wadi Rum - Perfect location, deep in the protected area of Wadi Rum. Protected by rocks on one side and sand dune on the other. So the view is not directly exposed to other camps and not disturbed by 4x4 traffic in Wadi Rum.
Perfectly comfortable tents, with confortable beds.
Excellent traditionnal dinner (buffet). Good breakfast buffet.
Warm showers available.
Full service.
Basically, when going to Wadi Rum, you may want to do activities. Once booked, they will propose you activity packages (that include accomodation, plenty of water, and lunch, dinner, breakfast).
We took "the bedouin way": it was perfect. We had a lot of fun. There are NO hidden, NO additionnal costs, in any way. Just enjoy.
- Laura (8/5): Very good - No choice of tents were offered
I did not like I was located near by the gate and parked cars
Bathrooms could be much much cleaner
Breakfast could be Better ..، bread was dry and burnt
Water was. Not hot enough to enjoy coffee
- Franklin (10/5): - Extraordinary! Super friendly and helpful staff makes sure guests have a great experience. Installations are comfortable and clean. I took a half-day 4wd tour with Salame (sorry if misspelled) and really enjoyed it
- Elisa (10/5): Exceptional - The area is amazing and the guides genuine Bedouins of the region. Food is also very good.
- Šmídová (10/5): Best camp in Wadi Rum! :) - We are already back in the Czech Republic, anyway, we still can't believe what an amazing experience it was. Extremely nice people who will do anything for you. The food was also excellent. If you are deciding one day / one night (or more) in Wadi Rum.. I would definitely recommend this company along with a full-day jeep tour. We send best regards to our guide Fahad ♥️

The camp is more comfortable than I expected - aesthetic tents, bathrooms are clean and in good condition, hot showers are available all the time (deep in the desert!). The staff is professional and very friendly. I really liked the evening with a fire, shisha, and live bedouin music they organized for us. Also good communication before and during the stay without tiresome pushing for additional services. Summary: Excellent quality for a very reasonable price!

- Judit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alena (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed at the Mohammed Mutlak for 2 nights. We agreed on pick up details in advance via whatsupp so we arrived to Wadi Rum village from where we went with locals to the camp .
Our stay was really pleasant. The tents were clean, the bed was comfortable. The toilet with the shower was separate from the tents and was clean as well. We had a breakfast and a dinner as buffet-style. Local food was so amazing. Before bed time we drank a tea, sat near a fireplace and talked with bedduins. Time of our lifes!
We booked a jeep tour and it was just wow. We visited all sightseeings of the desert. Our giude aka photograper aka chief-cooker Fahad prepared so delicios lunch in the desert.
I higly recommended to stay at this camp.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful location and staff - The camp was in a beautiful spot in the desert with interesting rock formations. The staff was wonderful and the meals provided were tasty. The clear, night sky with no light pollution was well worth the trip by itself.

- Haynoush (9/5): Superb - Sael and Salem were great! The food was awesome and everyonr was very helpful. They even arranged a desert tour
- Nazaret (10/5): Everything was exceptional! - Everything was perfect! The location is exceptional, and the services provided are super good too. The traditional dinner was super tasty, with multiple vegetarian options available. In addition, the breakfast was super complete. Despite the cold, they provided enough blankets so everything was perfect. I would love to come back!
- Jelena (10/5): Exceptional - Don't know where to start. Amazing location of the camp, cheeky and funny guide on our desert drive, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere and chilled managers. Excellent service level, would definitely come here again.
- Rachel (10/5): Authentic experience, cool truck tours through the desert, great food, great people - Great fresh food cooked in a traditional Bedouin way, under the sand through fire heating. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, chill main tent where you can hang out with other guests, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Amazing night in the desert camp! Nothing :)
- El (10/5): An experience to remember! - We loved our stay here, everything was perfect, the food, the people, everything! The activities were great and our guide Abou Fahad was the nicest person I’ve ever met, he was the perfect guide for our trip through the desert. I strongly recommend this place, I am coming back for sure! Everything was perfect!
- Dan (1/5): Staff amazing owner is an absolute cowboy who will rip you off if given the chance - The staff were amazing The owner ripped me off and charged me triple price
- Dimo (10/5): Great place and lovely people! - Great place deep in the desert with extremely welcoming hosts ans stunning view especially on sunset. Authentic atmosphere, comfortable beds in the tents, nice and clean common bathroom with hot water, good wi-fi and very very delicious food. We highly recommend the whole day desert tour, which includes a lunch, cooked on fire in the middle of the desert by our guide Fahad, who was perfect. All the staff was very polite and friendly, we had a wonderful evening around the fire with live music and a traditional bedouin dinner. everything was good.
- Christopher (8/5): - Good if basic camp in dessert.Staff excellent. We were well looked after. The chef .Josef.deserves a special mention for excellent Bedouin food.Spectacular position but all of Wadi Rum is spectacular.
- Vitalii (10/5): Great people, nice food, we were offered free breakfast . But slow internet, but it’s ok - Great people, nice food, we were offered free breakfast The internet was slow
- Miroslav (10/5): Exceptional - The best located camp in Wadi Rum
- Lucia (9/5): Superb - Very nice camp, good staff and amazing place in the middle of desert
- Valentino (4/5): Bad choice - The location was nice, and the connection to the centre were ok. The tent was supposed to have a king double bed, view on the mountains and desert and none of those things were lived up. The tour was supposed to last 7 hours with 12 attractions but only counted 6 stops because the guide was wasting time here and there, he arrived to have a nap of 1,5 hours post lunch while we were waiting in front of him. Amazing place but total scam with regard to what we actually booked.

- Paloma (9/5): confortable bed, nice staff and beautiful camp - Everything was very clean. ves súper confortable and clean bathroom.
Very good food. It was very nice camp. The only thing is that bathrooms are shared. But you are in a camp in the middle os the desert so is understandable. Moreover bathrooms were very clean so everything good.

- Anton (10/5): Best Wadi Rum experience! - Absolutely amazing experience!
Camp with a best sunset view, tastiest food and lovely people.
Just in the middle of a Wadi Rum.
Cozy tents with electricity and light.
Guys are preparing traditional Zarb every evening, gathering around fireplace, live music and home atmosphere!
Definitely will come back again and again!
- Noa (10/5): Can't wait to come back! - We simply loved everything about this camp!
We stayed for 3 nights and felt like we could stay forever.
Salem and the staff are very friendly and made all of us feel at home. A genuine bedouine hospitality.
We took a jeep tour, Salame, our guide showed us the highlights of wadi rum, cooked a great lunch on fire and we spend a great time in the beautiful desert.
We recomend Salame for touring around the place.
Thank you Salem and crew!
Can't wait to come back!
